Dead and Ended Topics & Moving Archived Threads

DEAD AND ENDED TOPICS

A lot of topics die or end without any notification from the people in them. In order to make all of our lives a lot easier, could everyone please PM staff when the topic dies/ends/finishes/etc.? This is important because the forum gets crowded and it's impossible to find available or on-going topics in that mess. If a topic isn't replied to in two weeks, it will automatically be archived, BUT if you notice that the person/people you are rping with hasn't responded in a week or even less, please PM them and let us know. They may have forgotten, but make sure you check HERE first to make sure that they didn't just go on vacation for two weeks or something...

MOVING ARCHIVED THREADS

This is a helpful announcement from Shu and myself to all of you! Each week one of us goes on the cheery duty of bumping and archiving threads. You all know this is a normal occurrence, so there's no reason to be alarmed if you find that one of your threads has been bumped or archived. It's quite easy to have a mod or admin return the thread so you may post.

BUT! It makes it very confusing for Shu and I when we go into bump/archive again to find an old thread with no change.

So we would like to enlist a new policy! If a thread is being moved from archives because a person is preparing a post for it, then please make a note in the thread! That way when Shu and I go in to do our weekly assignment, we can be aware and not re-archive the thread again. Sounds simple enough, yes?
