Chaos 1, meet Chaos 2... No Relation To Aurel.

Post by Guest on Mon Oct 10, 2011 8:14 pm

Ah, but who would that be wandering the horizon but the wonderful, mystical magical mystery boy, but Listora Kean Vraczun of the Drachman military? Yes, Kean was on a quest, given to him by his newfound leaders to go out and defend the new Czar and her territory from nasty, ugly rebels! Or at least, that's who they said he was supposed to fight. He had no idea. Actually... He wasn't really thinking of anything but the fact that his teeth needed a good sharpening and that his uniform was so big and loose... Oh, yeah, apparently the rebels recognized the aforementioned uniform, because they were shooting and coming at him with pitchforks. PITCHFORKS! Of all things, really? Kean frowned, and his tail swished back and forth impatiently. I mean, what was he? Some psycho a mob was chasing? Honestly... Anyways, best not to get shot. Sighing, he placed his hands together, a blue flash erupting from his hands as a miniature black hole formed, absorbing the solar energy stored in his panel watches, energy from the sun itself, and any excess energies from stray Gamma or Radio waves. The mob had paused a bit, wondering what was going on, before their eyes widened. A few rapid fire bullets of energy blasted from the black hole. Four, actually. One missed, but the other three hit. One man was hit in the eyes, and uttered a bloodcurdling scream as he was permanently blinded for life- Thankfully cut short by the impact the hit had on his skull, like an actual bullet. Another man ended up with a busted spleen, and the last man was given some rather severe burns to his shoulder and neck. Realizing they were outgunned, the mob drew back, as Kean walked towards another Drachman soldier he spotted nearby. Hmm... This guy was HUGE... "Hi, friend!"

Hei had been sent here by the Illustrious Leader of Mother Drachma, the Premier of the Communist Party, the one and only Lady Vanity. ... Well, for some reason he KNEW that she was Lady Vanity, but as to why or even how, he wasn't quite sure. Either way, she was indeed what Drachma needed compared to the prior Czar, so he was more than happy to keep his mouth shut. After all, she wanted to destroy Amestris, so there was no reason to start any trouble.

In fact, he was now carrying out her orders, taking a small detachment of soldiers with him, party loyalists through and through, and they were near the edges of Moscow, now. Here to hunt down rebellious Czar believers, fools who wanted to drag Drachma down rather than let it rise to its most sublime state!

"Disgusting rebels ... we'll smash them down into the ground."

Or, so he thought, as his troops (numbering about twenty or so) and he stood by to watch a youth ... in uniform take down a group of rebels. Poorly armed with crude farming tools and antique guns. Needless to say, the Xingese-Drachman was impressed by the show of the little Alchemist.

The little alchemist then apparently noticed Hei standing off to the side, turned and walked to him and then spoke, his first words being "Hi, friend"

". . . Good day, Comrade" Hei says at first, with a noticeable slight pause as he studied the child who had deflected a steady stream of bullets with what appeared to be alchemy. . . . He was ... so ... short. And young ... and with what seemed to be purple hair? And, adorable eyes.

'. . . . . . . . . .' emptiness pervaded his mind as he kept processing in the child's appearance, despite the demonstration of his lethal abilities. Until at last, something broke ... or possibly was fixed inside of Hei's head.

'He's ... ... ADORABLE!!!'

But before he could voice these thoughts aloud and hug the child with absolute joy, the rebels seemed to have noticed that he and his men were here to confront them.

"DIRTY COMMUNISTS!" they yelled at them: the Captain in black, the small Alchemist and the troops behind ready to fire. That irritated Hei, he was very careful to maintain good hygiene, and these country bumpkins clearly were hypocrites. Not to mention, they interrupted his chain of thought and therefore had to die.

First things first, knives slipped out of his sleeves (he always packed dozens of them in there ... somehow) til six were held by both hands, and flung to strike, not necessarily dead on, but nonetheless impacting into the rebels who were only a couple meters away . . . and were promptly knocked over by such small things being thrown with such force.

"We're FILTHY? Speak for yourself, country dogs!" he roared back at the 'angry' mob who were cowed. . . . And then he brought forth the weapon kept hidden behind him, covered by the coat of his uniform, the magnificent chainsaw. Oh yes, he was so pissed at the rebels, he packed his largest weapon.

Needless to say, the mob was a bit concerned that a member of the military was bringing out such a large weapon and carrying it with one hand. Not to mention, it's engine was already ignited and a low, purring noise emanated from it. So, he revved the engine with the appropriate handle, letting the saw's teeth rotate AND. The slaughter began!

His troops made sure not to fire at him but at anything that was not directly in front of him that did not look like an ally, while he went forward and starting slicing the mob up. Given that they were much better armed than these fools, the rebels were put down. Of the twenty still alive (some already wounded), five were bifurcated, two decapitated, six shot dead and all others wounded either by bullets or had limbs/flesh sliced off.

"Well now ... that was easier than I thought ... " the Captain muttered in his once-native tongue, while he had a boot planted atop the head of an armless rebel who was spitting expletives and curses and death threats at Hei, and the Xingese-Drachman just looked on the slaughter with an amused smile. Ah yes, he loved his job sometimes.

Kean looked up at the man, smiling a broad, fang-baring grin. Eh... Well, his teeth are ALL fangs, so that really just means he was grinning in general... ANYWAYS, after his presence registered to Hei, the larger man replied. But before Kean could get a word in, the stupid rebels rebelled again! WHY do rebels ALWAYS have to rebel!? And at such foolish, terrible times too! So inconvienient for everyone! Oh how Kean wished these rebels were kinder to him... Then they call him a dirty communist? Well, considering his limited knowledge, he had no idea what communism was, but he knew for a FACT he groomed every day! He glanced over himself, ensuring he was not dirty, and licked a tiny bit of dirt from his shoulder, spitting it in the snow. Pffft, just a speck of dirt! "I'm not dirty!! I groom every single day, dirty rebel dumb-heads!" And thus speaking, he drew from his coat pocket a handy toy the military had provided him- A lovely .357 COP Derringer! Holding the gun in both hands, he opened fire on the rebels, teaching them why it's NOT OKAY TO BE REBELLIOUS! Then he noticed his comrade, Hei, begin to unleash sheer terror with a chainsaw. There was quite a bit of blood from the massacre, but Kean wasn't old enough to understand anything about the morality of slaughter, only what the military had told him after they found him.

As the bloodshed ended, Kean skipped over to Hei, beaming ear to ear, before stopping abruptly to glance at the chainsaw. He'd seen such a powerful weapon used back on his old farm, when his father and uncle had to colect firewood. They used chainsaws to cut trees! And trees are very hard and thick, so he knew thius was a powerful tool. As the blade stopped spinning, he reached out a hand so that he could tap the blade with his well-sharpened claw. Seeing it to be safely stopped, he went ahead and placed his palm on it, obviously interested in the thing. Drawing his hand back, he noticed that his hand had brushed the blade and was bleeding a bit. Swiping the blood off on his trenchcoat, he smiled and held out his tiny hand for Hei to shake. "Hello, I'm Kean! What's your name, friend?"

And he was done. His troops were cleaning up, moving the bodies over and documenting their faces (or what's left of them) and questioning the other six who still breathed as to who else was still an enemy to the state.

And he kept his boot atop the seventh one, while his chainsaw, now at rest and disengaged, remained clenched in his hand, but now held downwards. And that's about when he noticed that the child had come up beside him (Hei noted that there was a gun in his hand, too ... did he also shoot that thing at the rebels?). And he seemed to press a ... clawed hand? Against the teeth of his saw? Though, all in all, Hei noted that there seemed to be a tail coming from behind the kid as well . . . which just gave him this ridiculously cute appearance.

Though, this kid. After cutting his hand, just brushed the blood off against his coat, and stuck out his hand to Hei for a handshake, stating simply his name.

"My name is Hei, little Kean" he just had the urged to add little, clearly as a gentle term, not a derogatory one. That, and he was smiling back at the ... oh my, serrated set of teeth that was gleaming at him. Well, not that it mattered, really, seeing as how Hei's teeth weren't teeth either, rather than a whole row of triangle shaped fangs like those on his saw. It was strange, and oddly funny to see this kid have more fangs than teeth as well.

"What brings you out here, now, Kean?"

Kean grinned up at Hei again, smiling. Hei... That sounded a bit odd to the Drachman boy, but he questioned it not, for he'd heard stranger names in his years in Amestris. Kean then stepped back, having contemplated his thoughts, and looked up at Hei's forehead, far above his own measly little size. "Whoa... How did you get so big, Hei? If the Kremlin was still around, I bet you'd be taller than it was!" His face expressed a child-like awe at this large man's enormous height, further exaggerated by his own lack thereof. Height, that is.His awe, there was no lack of any sort. He also noticed that Hei had teeth as jagged as his, which amused him a bit. Hearing his question, he pondered how best to answer this.

"Hmm... Well, I was born in St. Peterburg, and thewn I became a chimera, and I had to run away to Amestris cus no one wanted me anymore. And I lived in a dumpster, and it was fun, and my alchemy fixed the TV in my RV, and then Drachma found me, and I got put in the military, and they told me to go here after my training was over, so then I got here, and I helped you fight some dumb stupid-faces. Oh, and I like your tree-cutty-thingy! It's shiny..." And thus, he finished his obvious run-on sentence with a contented smile.

Re: Chaos 1, meet Chaos 2... No Relation To Aurel.

Hei suppressed the urge to grin stupidly, beaming with joy at the adorableness of the little alchemist. Goodness, perhaps 'little alchemist' was going to be a pet name or something, for Hei. Was it the cuteness with which the child had surveyed his own moderate height? Or perhaps that adorable tone of voice as he gave a whole summary of his short life? Or perhaps the fact was that he just looked so huggable? That and he called his weapon a 'tree-cutty-thingy' AND shiny.

"Ah ha ha. Oh, no, no. I didn't mean to ask for you life story, little Kean," he spoke, with an affectionate tone that drew lots of curious stares from his men. They only heard that tone when he was talking to a cute kitty, or squirrel, or bird ... or that grey wolf he had tamed as well as one of the 'Soviet Bears.' A voice that meant that he was about to kidnap the animal from its natural habitat, take it home and shower it with love and happiness. They were worried that their Kapitan was now directing this tone of voice and entailing consequences at a young, but nevertheless cute young boy who seemed to be quite capable of eliminating grown men with his abilities.

"I meant, why were you out here hunting rebels! I was pretty sure I was assigned to the area to clean up, ha ha. Ah well, it doesn't matter. May as well we go crush the rat's nest," his troops were also more concerned that the boy was also a chimera, and that their commanding officer at the moment seemed not to care.

The other six were already interrogated at that moment, locations revealed of other gathering torch and pitchfork wielding rebels. Well, he'd give them one last chance. It took a moment, while Hei stepped off the seventh prisoner, for the troops to force them to kneel, whilst guns were pointed at the back of their heads. Traitors deserved one thing, but ... Hei was merciful. They were still Drachmans, still brothers of the Motherland. For the time being, he ignored the boy to attend to his duty.

"This is your last chance: Renounce your loyalties to the Czar. Cast aside such miserable convictions, and instead embrace the glory of Mother Drachma and the Communist Party. Pledge loyalty not to a corrupt and wicked man like Loki, but instead to the benevolent party and its leader, Premier Alena.

If you do, I can guarantee your lives will not end here. You will be punished for rebelling against the Party, but you will live. You will live to enjoy much of your life with the vast bounty that Mother Drachma will achieve through Premier Alena, benevolent leader, and the Party! Speak, now! Repent and pledge!"

The man whose face had been crushed beneath Hei's heel immediately spoke up. Or more accurately, he spat in Hei's face, a mouthful of blood. Followed by one word.

"NEVER."

The Xingese-Drachman was unamused. Oh no, he had a handkerchief for times when he would get dirtied, but never for a circumstance like this. Nonetheless, while the rebel who spat looked on, Hei dried his face. One could see that the expression had significantly darkened.

"Then you are a traitor to the Motherland. Traitors will only cause the Motherland to fall. To insure that Drachma and its people will reach greatness, and to have all nations to respect us . . . we must purge traitors from our lands. No exceptions" the Drachman Captain then nodded to the soldier, a private, holding the execution weapon, a rifle. It was simple, just firing a bullet into the back of the head of the traitor. The other six now had ambiguous fates, as they knelt there, uncertain of what to do or even say.

And Hei turned back to face Kean. Well, more accurately, he was going to turn and speak to another soldier to inquire what they knew about the rebels, but then he saw Kean. . . . Wide-eyed little Kean, and a feeling of dread hit him. 'Did I just order an execution in front of the eyes of a child? . . . He blinked a bit, nervous. For a moment, he did not know how Kean interpreted the execution, as he was not focused on the child's expression or reaction, but rather on the fact that he was there to witness it. . . . But, he could not shirk from his duties. He had an obligation to purge Drachma, and he might as well justify that to the young one. Hei went down on one knee, so that he could speak to the child on a near-even level, oblivious if the child had said anything just now, or had done anything really.

"Remember that, little Kean ... Traitors and Rebels are the same thing. They are enemies to Mother Drachma, and do not deserve to live. They are incarnations of evil. And we, soldiers of the Red Army, are meant to put an end to them. Do you understand?" he spoke calmly. No serenely, in a sweet but mournful tone. What he said was nothing more than the truth, as he saw it. Hopefully it wouldn't be too much of a shock for the little one.

'God. I might be getting soft ...'

Kean nodded slowly, in realization. Oh, well why didn't he just ask about that, then? He grinned. "Oooh, I see! Well, I just got some orders to go help you and stuff, cus you were out here doing stuff, I guess. I'm a little new to all this stuff, actually..." He grinned and scratched the back of his head, adorably pulling off the whole slight sweatdrop moment pretty well. Anyways, Kean then watched as hei went back to work doing things. He gave a quite lovely speech about how they should come to the Light Side of the for-... Drachma. Light Side of the Drachma. This is not that thing with the laser sticks. And Kean then waited for the man under Hei's foot to pledge allegiance and beg mercy. Instead, he got blood on Hei's face! How rude! Kean then watched as the man was executed, mercilessly. Truthfully, it didn't phase Kean. Having been given a new mindset recently, he was not really capable of sympathy for the traitor. And as his young mind was so easily imprinted, he was pretty set into the military lifestyle by then. So when Hei came over to explain the event to him, he nodded. " And traitors are bad for Drachma. They are just a bunch of stupid dumb-heads, so they get what they deserve for what they do."

Great. So now that was cleared up, they coul-

Wait. Did that kid just agree with him and not complain that people had just been killed? Was he smiling at this whole situation, except the expression of innocence was just masking a terrifying little monster deep within? Just ... just what had the military done to this little alchemist?

'It's ... my god. He's not even fazed. He's killed people and even witnessed executions and he's not even shocked by this. . . . What . . . have we done . . .
TO MAKE SUCH AN ADORABLE KIIIID!!!!!!'

Went the thoughts in Hei's head as he found little Kean to be even more adorable.

"Exactly! Now, let's get rid of some more traitors!!" Hei responded jovially, smiling his toothy grin. Okay, saw-toothy grin. They already knew what they needed to know, so Hei just merely gave a wave to the executioners, and signaled the end of the Kangaroo court. Six bursts of gunfire ended this rebel-hunting session, and soon a second one was about to start.

"KAPITAN!!! More rebels coming! And it looks like they're better-armed this time!"

"Awww how sweet. They saved us the trouble of having to find them. Now, let's go! WE MUST PURGE MOTHER DRACHMA OF THESE PESTS! Though leaving one or two of them alive wouldn't hurt, we could use them as a public example later." Hei crooned, then bellowed out his orders, and then thoughtfully added his afterthought. Yes, he thoughtfully added something that he thought of after the thought. It's Hei, don't ask too many questions about his brain works.

Fortunately for them, the enemy had pretty pathetic armaments, outdated pistols with limited ammunition capacities and ... flintlock muskets. Was there a local antique store around here? Or else how did these rebels get such things? AND DID THEY EVEN KNOW HOW TO USE THEM.

"Let's go, little Kean. It's time we killed in the name of Mother Drachma and the Party again" Hei smiled and spoke sweetly, to the point it was almost diabetic to the little Alchemist. After that, the battle was joined ... possibly? The man with the chainsaw, the little alchemist, the twenty troops against about fifty or so rebels armed with muskets and broken pistols.

Kean bared a likewise toothy grin, revealing to a few Drachman soldiers inhuman teeth, chiseled to fine fangs by near constant gnawing on things and filing away at them until they were satisfactory. He nodded as Hei said they were to slay more men in the name of Mother Drachma. For what were a few men to Drachma than tiny bacteria in the blood stream? And Drachma had a way of telling white blood cells from poisons, with its loyal men defending the body of the nation from evil criminals intent on destroying Drachma in the name of a dead man. Kean urned his attention to Hei again as he spoke once more. Paying attention to the afterthought, Kean turned to the advancing fools. Like coyotes to the barn-man's sickle... Or as people outside the Vraczun family would say, pigs to the slaughterhouse. Kean extended his palms again, and noticed a feww oil barrels near the men. With a sly grin, he performed his alchemy, this time directing a stream of thin laser, piercing the barrel. Many of the men were dead in an instant, others burned and scarred. He then moved forward with the rest of Hei's troops, and darted to the front, where he found two big rebels, strong guys. With ease he performed his specialty again, and again. Each bullet of photons was directed at the crotch, crippling the men.

Of course, this is a sad day when a small child can disable two grown men with guns as if they were mere insects. That proved a mighty morale blow to the advancing rebels. Kean then moved in quickly and managed to drag the two unconscious men to Hei's side, beaming.

"Two for the public to see!"

Re: Chaos 1, meet Chaos 2... No Relation To Aurel.

Post by Guest on Thu Oct 20, 2011 3:45 am

His troops marched ahead of him, not intending to allow the current commanding officer to lead the way. That was quite disturbing to Hei, who always loved to plunge headlong into battle, with the troops either behind him or at his direct side. But alas, it was something that occurred more and more often nowadays. They wanted their piece of glory for themselves, not from their demonic Captain.

So, the Xingese-Drachman paced close behind them as they broke out of formation and just proceeded to either shoot the dickens out of the rebels, or beat the almighty, everlasting crap out of them (taking heed of his afterthoughts). All the while, the Captain in Black merely stepped behind his troops, seeming intimidating as he had hefted his weapon and somehow managed to have it rest against his shoulder without it slicing clean through armor, cloth, flesh and bone.

He noted something amusing though, as the Rebels were put down quickly. Little Kean had rush ahead, and taken down two rebels by himself. And impressive show, given how SMALL ... and hug-able ... the boy was. And, oddly enough, Little Kean dragged the two he had downed back to him, while the others proceeded to mop up the rest of the mob and reduce them to either corpses or piles of moaning and writhing agony.

"Two for the public to see!" the boy declared, and Hei couldn't help but smile proudly at the Little One's triumph. Oh yes indeed. Two for the public.

"Ah, Kean. You are a model for how all who fight for Mother Drachma should be. Swift and merciless. Ha ha ha!! You are no 'little one' ... you are a fine young protector of Mother Drachma!!" he spoke, again with a bombastic and overly jubilant tone, resting a hand upon the little one's shoulder. Technically, he wasn't going to call Kean the 'little' one out loud anymore, since the kid was probably as deadly as plenty of other soldiers in the Red Army, but he would always think of Kean as the little Alchemist

(BecauseheisjusttoocuteandHeidearlywantstohughimbutpeoplemightstareathimifhedid)

At which point Hei got shot. It was random, out of the blue, wild shot of a bullet embedding itself into his right shoulder. Fortunately, he was holding his chainsaw with his left, but that also mean, unfortunately, his right arm had been exposed. So, now he had a bullet there, and the rebel responsible was dead. Yes, he hated that job hazard, already slamming his chainsaw down into the snow and ground to make sure it stayed put and whipping out a knife (magically) out of his sleeve to savagely just tear the bullet out of his shoulder. Or well, whatever of the bullet had stuck itself in there, really.

'Such a pain ...' he thinks to himself, while performing rudimentary surgical procedures in a highly excruciating (to anyone not him) manner. And again, he didn't know what Kean thought of the tall Xing-ish man setting down his weapon and digging into his shoulder with a sizable knife.

Kean grinned another wide fanged grin at Hei's compliments and praise. For you see, while he WAS a dangerous, lethal weapon of Mother Drachma, he was ALSO an eleven year old child. Which meant, of course, that praise like that had a massive effect on him, and let him know he did good. "Thanks Mr. Hei! I just hope someday I can be as good at this as you are!" Purply-pink eyes were lit up in joyous joy directed at Hei, whom such large eyes were focused. Then, of course, he saw Hei get shot, which surprised him. He turned to the man who had shot Hei, to see he was already out of this life, into the next. Then he turned back to Hei and drew a bit closer. "Are you okay? Stupid rebels, them and their stupid bullets..." Thinking a bit helpfully, as Hei dug the bullet out, Kean used a combat knife to tear of a strip from the tail of his ever-present trench coat, which he used to reach up and tie over the bullet wound for Hei, smiling.

Re: Chaos 1, meet Chaos 2... No Relation To Aurel.

Post by Guest on Wed Oct 26, 2011 3:13 pm

Ahhh, little Kean was so thoughtful. A remarkable trait, considering how vicious life must have made him. But still, given how small and young he was, even the brutal Hei was a little worried. Not that he was concerned that Listora Kean Vraczun was a killing machine for Drachma, nor the fact that he was a Chimera, but that he probably had an odd life with much brutality. Even if he was a murderous little child, he probably needed a bit more fun in his life, seeing as how the military eventually saps away all joy (unless one is a sociopathic murderer, but those are not common).

So Hei took the strip of the coat and used it to bind what wound there was (after taking out the smooth, circular lead ball that had been burrowed in there prior), and proceeded to pat Kean a bit on the head with his uninjured arm. There WAS something about him that made him seem like an adorably cute, but highly dangerous predatory animal ... but then again, he DID fight with the Soviet Bears bare-handed (no pun intended) and won.

"Ah. Thanks, young Kean. Hahaha, it'll take more than silly rebel bullets to stop us!" he comments, just as a Rebel trooper appeared right the **** out of nowhere, armed with a rifle with a mounted bayonet, screaming "FOR FREEDOM!" Fortunately, he was probably half-drunk, given his bayonet wasn't pointed anywhere remotely close to forward so as to stab either Hei or Kean. Also fortunately, was that Hei was already standing upright, after patting Kean and giving him thanks. So, the Xingese-Drachman just met the rebel with crushing force, by planting his right leg THROUGH the body of the unfortunate man. Needless to say, it was rather awkward, for his boot and leg to have slammed right through the corpse, and sent whatever vital organs and bones in the way blasting out and spraying from the back. Though a hard enough shove from his left arm removed the corpse from his leg, while jagged bone remnants did tear at his clothes (though not really damaging his own flesh).

"Who knew rebels could cause so much trouble?" he commented randomly, as the last few of the resistors were gunned down or quickly surrendered.

"Perhaps we should kill them all now, so as not to bother with them again!" he ponders aloud, though really the question was directed to little Kean, wanting to see what the child had in mind.

Kean nodded slowly, contemplating what Hei had pondered. "Hmm, these rebels are so dumb. Shouldn't they just give up and go home?" He sighed lightly before bouncing over to Hei's side. He thunk over what to do with the remaining rebels. Should they live, or die? Kean didn't know, because stuff like this wasn't his forte, exactly. He was better at following orders than actually deciding things that could be important later, like this... "Hmm... Maybe we should kill the ones that don't surrender? And the ones that wouldn't be any use to us, like the ones that are too weak and scrawny to fight for the right side."

Hmph. Typical. Kill them all, Kean. Spare no one, revel in
their blood and screams, Kean, DO IT! DO IT NOW, I COMMAND YOU!

Hmm, what a wonderful thing that thoughts are often unspoken. Though Kean DID express a seemingly random expression of annoyance. Speaking more to himself than anyone, and sort of muttering, he said, "Fang, go away. All you like is killing everything. You're dumb, go away." Obviously Fang's smug grin reigned supreme in Kean's mind, despite his efforts to ignore him. Shaking his head clear, he glanced back at the prisoners they had taken and were deciding the fates of.

. . . The kid talked to himself. That worried Hei, somewhat: Was the reason why he apparently talked to himself due to being forced into the military as a child soldier? Either way, he was, for once, worried about the child.

Wait ... why was he worried? . . . ?

"Hrm. Perhaps killing every one of them would not be a bad option, this time around. Most of them are too injured to do anything, and besides. The public will understand if we explain to them . . ." the Xingese-Drachman smiles ever so wickedly, promoting whatever murderous tendencies his younger and smaller companion may have had, and striking fear it the dozens of men still alive, but missing body parts or copious amounts of blood (or had plenty of bullets lodged inside of them).

Either way. Hei was grinning, wildly. Madly. Oh, how much FUN this would be. But first, he had to ask the kid, since the kid talked to himself. "Err. Kean. Who is this 'Fang' ... if I might ask?" he asks with a polite tone, a bit curious, since he'd never met a crazy person before . . . all the while signalling to the troops to start executing the surviving Rebels.

Kean nodded in agreement. It was indeed a bit merciful to kill them instead of imprison them or let them die of their injuries. Besides, the sentence for treason like this would be death anyways, after time in jail. Made things easier. Kean had heard some other soldiers talking about how it meant less paperwork if they killed more than they captured, and although Kean had no idea what kind of work they did with paper, it sounded good. So he grinned with Hei, not really knowing what kind of political backfire an on-scene execution was capable of, nor the repercussions for anything they did that the people of Drachma didn't like. He didn't really even grasp the concept of death being as final as it was, or life as precious as it is. Which meant that he had no idea what he meant when he agreed with Hei in killing their prisoners. At any rate, his mind was taken off the topic by Hei's question.

"Fang? Oh, he's a big, mean coyote! He's big and gray and hairy and he has sharp claws like this, and teeth like this-" He showed Hei his claws, then his fangs in turn- " And he's the stupid-head coyote that attacked me back at my old house in St. Petersburg. But I accidentally fell in the circle I'd made. I was trying to make cow chimeras that laid eggs like chickens so my family got more food, but instad it made me into a chimera. And now Fang won't ever shut up. I guess it's because he doesn't like being cooped up in my head, but he's too fat and lazy to do anything about it..."

Again, the child spoke. Or really, again, Hei posed a simple question, and a got a complex and revealing response from the child. One that moved him dearly, since he had not know that the child was a Chimera ... alright, maybe he guessed it, considering he had claws, fangs, these really cute eyes and adorably furry tail.

But, the kid had drawn the transmutation circle? And the Coyote talks? It gained sentience upon merging with the child? Then again, the child was apparently fortunate enough to have used an advanced enough array to insure his human body would be the dominant organic material in the whole proce-Why did that matter? Hei didn't give a damn about alchemy!!

"Well ... if he's in your head now, how exactly ... could ... he do anything about it ...?" the Xingese-Drachman inquired with a puzzled expression. Even if the coyote had gained sentience, what exactly could it ... well ... DO inside of the child's mind? Ah well. That still left a number of questions for Hei.

"Kean ... how old are you now? And, when did you start doing alchemy?" he casually asks, as the troops (now numbering 17 uninjured with three wounded, though minor) began executing the ... well. There were a lot of rebels, and a number of them were in front of Hei, so while he posed the question and moved a few paces forward, began brutally impaling the enemies with his blade, of if feeling merciful, let them have their entire heads be crushed underneath his boot, against the rock-ice ground.

Kean really had to think about Hei's question. He normally didn't comment very much, and therefore Hei was about the only person to learn these things, so he didn't immediately know how to respond to a lot. Heck, Kenrya had only learned about his alchemy and his old RV, and May and Tracy only knew he was once homeless! Thoughts having been thunken, he figured out what to say. Slowly, with his face scrunched up in thinking, he answered, "Hmm... I don't really know... He's just sort of... I think he can... I don't know. I black out sometimes. Not much, but maybe he steals me then, and does stuff... Don't know..." Hearing the next question, Kean smiled; this one was easier for him to answer.

"I'm eleven years old, I think!~ And I started doing alchemy back when I was five or six, I think. See, my cousin went to Amestris to learn alchemy back when Drachma and Amestris were friends. So got to have a souvenir, and all he got me was a bunch of books. I dunno why, I could bqrely reaD then..."

"My goodness. Five or six? Kean, you must be a prodigy of some sort! I haven't heard of many others who could perform alchemy at such a young age!" Hei lets out a light stream of laughter before his words, most in awe and mixed with praise. He hadn't met such a young Alchemist before, and he also hadn't met one whose capability began at such an even younger age.

To him, the child had to have been some sort of genius when it came to the stuff. And though he despised Alchemy, that a child was capable of such thing was nothing short of marvelous in his mind.

'Though the issue is that the books came from Amestris . . . Amestris is the source of all that is wrong in this world, and that includes Alchemy ... but ...

Little Kean's so cuuuuuuuuuuuuuute'
and the ordinarily stone-faced Xingese-Drachman just kept on smiling, while mentally squeeing. Particular note that he found the child more humorous and adorable when he was trying to come up with a question to how ... Fang (his expression formed a thoughtful look, upon thinking about the Coyote) ... the animal ... could do something about being stuck inside of him. Ah well, not that it mattered.

-They had just effectively wiped out a sizable fraction of Czar Loyalists in Moscow: Mission Accomplished-

The only issue now was, while Hei found little Kean adorable and wanted to just pick him up and hug him, he wasn't exactly the best person with children. That, and he had no idea exactly where the kiddo was off to now that they had killed off some rebellious fools.

"Ohhhh ... ideas. Ideas. Ideas . . . . . . . Well, that seems to take care of that. A job well done, no? Hahaha"

He speaks just for the sake of ... well ... talking.

Kean had to let loose a slight giggle of sorts. Hei thought he was a prodigy, huh? Nobody ever seemed to think that. Well, Enrya was a little surprised at his alchemy, even if it was just an everyday tool for him. But besides that, his alchemy hadn't really seemed to him to be very... Prodigious. "Hmm... I guess you must be right, Hei!~ But I don't really feel like I'm all that progiderous," said the young alchemist-thing, as he demolished the word 'prodigious.'

Upon speakig once more, Kean noted that their mission had been completed, seeing that no more rebels had tried to attack them. Wonderful, simply splendid! And that meant he had PLENTY of time to hang out with Hei!~ Therefore, as Hei spoke his statement, Kean grinned and followed with one of his own. "Yep! And that means we should get some ice cream, right?~"

Prodigerous? Oh dear, this little Alchemist was just amusing Hei more and more. Honestly, little Kean was an adorable and malleable child, so much that Hei wanted to just take little Kean home with him. Except, many people would interpret that negatively, even though Hei just found the child to be adorable much in the fashion of cute domestic animals. . . . Okay, that didn't quite come out right, but he did in fact find the little one to be absolutely adorable and wouldn't mind taking care of him ... or helping him out or something or other.

"Of course, young Kean!" beams the insane mass-murdering sociopathic chainsaw wielding Xingese-Drachman. Oh, the child was so lovely, and well. They were done now, and he had nothing else to do for today.

"Was there any specific place you had in mind?" he inquires cheerily, smiling all the while.

Kean beamed as Hei agreed to the eating of frozen milk and sugary cream... Or whatever ice cream was anyways. Dancing in a little circle, the small Drachman boy giddily cheered for ice cream. "Yippee!~ Ice cream, ice cream, ice cream! Thank you, thank you, thank you Hei!" Oh boy, oh boy, his new bestest friend in the universe was taking him to get some ice cream! Kean was so excited that he couldn't stay still! But wait... Then Hei asked WHERE they would get the ice cream, which caused Kean to stop dancing for the moment so he could, quite visibily, ponder this question... Where, oh where, would one get ice cream... OHWAIT. Maybe Hei had some ice cream at his house! Everyone loved ice cream and of course Hei, if he did indeed love ice cream like the rest of the lactose tolerant population, he should have a freezer with at least ONE bucket full of the stuff!~ Grinning, Kean's dancing commenced once more. "We could always go to your house. I bet you gots TONS of ice cream!~ "

"Ah hah hah hah. Sadly, no, young one. My ice cream supply is empty at the moment. But! Have no fear, I know an excellent place we can go to get some!" the jovial Xingese-Drachman cheerily spoke on, already this whole mess had been sorted out: There were no survivors for the rebels and the men were relatively unharmed (a few them still needed to go the hospital to get those bullets properly removed, but their lives were in no danger).

So, considering this wasn't the first time they've gone out to trample and rabble-raisers, troublemakers, political dissidents and just plain revolting idiots, Hei trusted the fellows to report back. 'Twas a known fact he hated paperwork (oddly enough) and having to deal with it, so . . . eh, he didn't need to bother (in a sense, but it'll come back to bite him in the ass later). Besides which, they all knew he had a soft spot for cute things, and overall loved children and always tried to keep them happy (some how . . .), so they didn't bother trying to stop him.

"So, then. My young prodigy, shall we go enjoy ourselves?" he inquires, while beginning to start the long trek away from the remnants of the bloodbath. Ah yes, this was going to be an interesting day.
