Closure? What is this shit?

Post by Alisa Donnikova on Sat Dec 24, 2011 1:24 am

"How do my leftovers TASTE?! Hahahahaha..... Who the fuck are you looking at?" Alisa sang before she snapped at a couple that walked by her, recoiling from her obviously drunken demeanor. Fuck 'em. So cozy weren't they? Yea yea yea, enjoy it while it fucking lasts. Alisa Donnikova had finally found herself BOOZE. After so goddamn long in that fucking hell of a fucking hospital, she found herself free and loose upon the world. Now... it was time to enjoy herself after a fucking joke of a last few weeks. Yea... it was all a sorry goddamn joke. And it could suck her big fat black cock for all she cared. She'd shoot them if they dared try to drag her back to some hospital. Honest to fucking god. Heh, who was she kidding... There was no god... Just... WHISKEY. Yeeesss..... THE WHISKEY GOD! HAHAHAHhahahahhHhahHAHhahHAHhahHAHAHAHa........

A stumble. "Ah shit... Fuck." She muttered, almost falling against some stores wall, the bricks hitting her elbow in just the wrong way. Hissing, she growled and leaned against the wall before straightening off of it, her fist lingering for a moment. God damn shoulder still hurt. God-fucking-WHORES. Oh sure, you insult a few nurses, and they don't give you the best goddamn treatment they could. WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT SHIT HUH?! It was BULLSHIT thats what it was! "So whatif evuryone's so ffffucking sensitive huh? Theyall a bunch of fuckin... pussies thas what." She muttered, slurring her words as her military grade boots thudded against the pavement.

South City.... Spade ran off here she heard.... Spade Aeries... The man she loved... and had to let go of. Yeah, she knew it. She fucking knew it. And she bet he felt like shit about it too! "AS HE FUCKING SHOULD! Goddamn-cunt-munching-cocksucking bastard...." The fact she could switch languages at all was impressive at this point given how much alcohol she had consumed (not that it was much by her standards). A whole bottle of whiskey? Or had it been one and a half? Fuck... She didn't know now. All she knew was that she wanted SMOKES now. And maybe a man for the night. Or a woman. Heh, how would Spade feel about that? She suddenly stopped in her steps as she stood outside of a confections shop, a couple staring into the window and holding their hands while speaking to each other. She could see their smiles, their... happiness. Was that how love was supposed to be? Was that how... she... was supposed to be? It was as if she had sobered up for one goddamn minute, her brown eyes staring out at the happy pair as they kissed and walked down the street. No.... she wasn't being fair to Spade at all.

What she was being.... was herself. Selfish, self-pitying, pathetic little gutter shit. She was a wild dog who didn't know how to do anything except snap at the nearest ankle. She could never be that demure, quiet, sweet little thing that men looked for. She could never be tamed. Not fully. There was no curing her wicked tongue, her firey temper, or the punches that would inevitably fall. She was good at burning bridges, not maintaining them. And what did she do when things came around to bite her in the ass? She turned on them ruthlessly with the fury of the sun of self-righteousness. She loved Spade Aeries, but she knew he loved another. And she knew.... she had to let him go to her. Hell, he probably already had. So why did she still smell his cigarette smoke? Taste his sweat on her tongue, feel his hands upon her skin? Why did she still see those stunning green eyes staring at her from overtop sunglasses that always seemed to end up lost?

"Goddamnit all, papa was right.... Well, guess I had to learn the fucking hard way huh? Ah this sucks... All the booze has gone and left. TIME FOR MORE!" Straightening up, Alisa grinned to herself as she brushed her hair out of her face, striding down the street as if she hadn't been piss-drunk moments before. A single bottle of whiskey doing her in? HAH! She was the great Survivalist! She would need far more than that! Alright, so where the fuck was the booze in this town?

Re: Closure? What is this shit?

Post by Shula Brighton on Sun Dec 25, 2011 2:11 am

Life had a way of being endlessly ironic. Shula had given Acra Gustav's wring to protect him like it had her, and he was now in a coma with no telling when he'd wake up, if ever. In Drachma she'd seen Spade kiss a woman and beg for her love and foregiveness, but on the way to South from Central he'd kissed her and poured his soul out to her that night. Csilla had come to visit her and confessed to her feelings for the stoic and kind of scary Cretan soldier. And her own feelings were still just as conflicted, still caring deeply for Acra but at the same time not refusing Spade's affections and returning them, knowing that something in them felt right. She had opened up to Spade and shared something with him that was private and deeply meant, reinforcing a bond she couldn't explain and had never anticipated having with anyone given that her life had been devoted to celibacy and planning that she would never have anyone in her life.

Her afternoon was free, work finished and Shula not wanting to be alone in her house right now. ALone time, maybe, but not in the house. She needed to think, and in her loft all she smelled was Spade. His hairs on the pillow next to hers, the small empty can on the balcony outside for his ashes and cigarette butts... She'd told him he was welcome to sleep there while he set up a new apartment in Central and resettled. He was welcome there. But it knotted her stomach with guilt all the same, and trying to think where all she could think of and smell was him was horribly distracting.

Shula walked through South's bazaar, her car parked not too far away, opting to spend some time walking around the city she was in love with and devoting herself to. South was home, and no matter what was going on in her life, South had to come first. However, she couldn't do much for South on an empty stomach and with not much food in the house, especially since Spade was taking her up on the offer to sleep there while he got new housing in Central. Central was being cleared in patches but was still a mess. Still in ruins and littered with rubble and tents and people huddled together to try and get by. South really was the oasis of life right now... Good thing, too. Hopefully soon I can get some help to get up toward Central and try to implement some of the alchemical gardens like we did here just so Central has an easier time for food.

Light glinted off the deep red and gold bindi on her forehead as Shula walked in the afternoon light, her cream tunic dipping down to her knees, its deep red trim contrasting against the cream and fading blue of her jeans. Shu looked down at the list in her hand, items scratched off as she went, making several small deposits of groceries into her car and walking back out to the market. She was good at shopping on a budget, but trying to plan food enough for two people was a bit different. Even though Spade wouldn't stay there every single night, she needed to have enough on hand for the nights he did. Shu glanced up from the list at a row of shops across from her, one of which was an actual liquor store. Guess I should pick something up to keep handy. Spade and beer go together like, well, Spade and beer. And some for me, too... Not that it does anything anymore, but, what the hell. She stepped across the street to head into the liquor store near the opposite corner. It was hard to clear your mind when your mind is so distracted by the little details that all connect back tot he things weighing on your mind so much.

...All the booze has gone and left. TIME FOR MORE!" Shula blinked at the loud voice walking down the street a few feet behind her. Well... someone was happy to be near a liquor store, she guessed. Stepping up to the door of the store, Shula held it open wide for Alisa, her mind so scattered that she didn't realize who was there right now on a quest for booze.

Re: Closure? What is this shit?

Post by Alisa Donnikova on Tue Dec 27, 2011 8:27 pm

"I know you hate cause I flirt with everybody~" She sang softly as she strode towards that liquor store, pondering just what she'd blow her money on now. More whiskey? No no no, something different. Something... fresh. Sake? Pfft. What were the fucking chances of her finding sake in this fucking town? HAH. So what did that leave her with? Lets see.... Rum, bourbon, be-- no fuck that shit. It was piss, thats what the fuck it was. Soooo... what the fuck did Alisa Donnikova want now? And she swore to god, if she found Spade here, she would flip a goddamn table. Because that'd.... She had to sigh, slowing to a stop as she debated having a smoke before going in. How'd she even face him right now? How the fuck did people deal with this bullshit? God, it was more pain than it was worth! How the fuck had her parents ever fucking managed? Not well. Look at how that fucking turned out. Grrr...... "Ah fuck!!! Fuck all this shit! God FUCKING DAMMIT!" She snapped to the sky, knowing exactly what the fuck she was going to do with the rest of her day.

Someone was holding the door for her, now wasn't that nice-- Alisa stopped cold as she began to stride into the store with complete disregard for the woman except she knew exactly who the fuck she was. The warmth left her as the heat of rage filled her chest, cancelling each other out as she at least took a step inside before turning to face the Head of South. The little mouse herself. The woman who held her man's heart. "Well ain't this a fucking coincidence." She muttered with only the slightest venom in her voice, more angry at the fact that Amestris always seemed to have fucking coincidences for her. Now she REALLY needed a fucking drink. She almost turned to the guy behind the counter and shouted for a drink, but stopped herself as somewhere her brain was still functioning enough to tell her that this wasn't a bar. She wasn't being very fair now was she? Considering the little mouses demeanor, it was easy to guess that she probably actually gave a shit about the whole situation. Fuck....This....

"So what brings the great Brigadier General Shula Brighton of South to a liquor store hm? Buying booze for Spade? Might want to try whiskey. He'll love that." She asked as she moved further in and down one of the isles, not really caring to hear the answer. How the hell did she always find herself in situations like this?! She hated the woman. She didn't hate the woman. She wanted to ripe Spade's balls off and yet.... she didn't at all. Nah, he had a fucking right to happiness. Happiness that she knew.... she couldn't grant him. Her brown eyes scanned the shelves as bottle after bottle passed before her eyes, her green combat boots thudding against the floor. Beer, beer, beer... "Why the FUCK are you carrying this shit?! Beer's piss and ain't worth a fucking cows dick!" She snapped angrily, hearing some gasps from the other customers. Ooo, what? Got a fucking problem you fucking pussies? "Miss, I'm going to have to ask for you to watch your language." One of the workers called to her, holding out a hand as if that'd sedate her. She had to scoff, finally arriving at some Gin. FUCK YEA!

"Oh I'm SO sorry I'm vulgar. I'll just get my real drink and leave then. Fucking pussy." She spoke as she grabbed the bottle and brought it to the counter, slamming her money down on the counter. The man begrudgingly dealt with, giving her a glare all the while. Oh she was so fucking scared. What the fuck was this fucking milk drinker going to do? Call the cops? Pfft, she'd take 'em all down! FUCK THE WORLD, ALISA DONNIKOVA WAS HERE TO RAISE HELL! Man she could use a good killing job right now...... Popping the top of her bottle off, she turned back to Shula and raised an eyebrow, waiting for some lame answer to her question before.

Re: Closure? What is this shit?

Post by Shula Brighton on Fri Dec 30, 2011 5:38 am

While shula had more than enough wine to last her at the flat thanks to her father's visit, it would be nice to see if this store was carrying his brand. For years it had just been a local thing and sold only in Resembool, but he'd said the new batch was great and he'd been talking to a few companies across Amestris about selling it in small stores here and there. South was closest, so it would have been a nice thing to text him about and-

"Well ain't this a fucking coincidence."

Shula's breath held. The disdain dripping from the woman's voice was enough to catch her off guard, and if that wasn't enough, the sheer lack of clothing certainly was. Except that she could see the loose tufts of fringe and the fabric of her pockets sticking out lower than the rest of her, um, pants, she almost wondered if she had even been wearing anything and that the bottom of her outfit was an optical illusion made by body paint. She'd seen that done before at an art show, so it wasn't impossible. But even if she had been fully dressed, Shula would have still been shocked as all hell by who it was.

"...uhm this is Alisa." The tiny introduction dripped and popped like a perculator on the stove as Alisa stomped past Shu, letting her get a good look at her. No doubt about it, this was the same woman that she'd seen Spade with in Drachma. Spade was on his knees in front of her then. He was holding her hand. The way he kissed her... Shula shrank inwardly though her body remained still, the look in Alisa's eyes speaking scathing volumes. She met Alisa's eyes only briefly before looking down and away. What the hell did you even say[i] in these kinds of situations? This wasn't exactly something her mother had talked about in great detail.. or any, come to think of it. [i]That arranged marriage is starting to seem pretty good.

Looking away as Alisa started cruising the aisles, Shula casually looked at the various bottles, now looking for nothing in particular. What had she come in here for again? "So what brings the great Brigadier General Shula Brighton of South to a liquor store hm? Buying booze for Spade? Might want to try whiskey. He'll love that." Oh yeah. That. The tiny General winced and remained very quiet as she scanned for what she wanted, wondering if she shouldn't just politely excuse herself from the store and buy it another time... She shook her head to herself; leaving would only cause more issues and no resolution of any kind. She'd pick up beers later and make it easier to carry things back to her little bug, a bottle of blackberry brandy finding its way into Shula's fingers, followed by a tall bottle of bourbon. That should be enough to keep everyone happy for a little bit.

Money was slammed onto the counter and Alisa was opening her drink, boring holes through Shula as she waited form her to applogize. Make excuses for Spade. Excuse herself. Ask her what the air velocity of an unladen swallow was. Something. She quietly paid for her own bottles and slowly looked up at Alisa, stepping out of the way of other customers. If looks could kill, Shu figured she would be in a world of hurt right now as she got the clear vibes that this woman wanted to beat something senseless. Shula honestly hoped it wouldn't be her, but something in the back of her mind told her she probably deserved it. The moment's silence to collect her thoughts was pregnant with an uncomfortable anticipation. What the hell do you SAY for things like this where she wasn't even sure of all the reason behind everything herself and only knew them from where she stood?

"I suppose you could say that," Shula said at last, glancing to the paper bag of bottles in her arm. Her voice was soft, yet surprisingly unafraid, thought logic told her she probably should have been and slowly, she looked up to meet Alisa's eyes. "And I needed to get away for a bit so I could think and clear my head." What she was admitting was something very honest, and wondered how Alisa would take an answer that wasn't falling over herself to apologize for the actions of another.

Re: Closure? What is this shit?

Post by Alisa Donnikova on Wed Jan 04, 2012 11:25 am

HAHAHAHAAhahahahahaahahahaaaa..... The little mouse seemed frightened of her! AS SHE FUCKING SHOULD BE. Or well, thats what part of her wanted to say, but at the same time? How could she blame her really? People were how they fucking were and they couldn't help it. She was a lot softer than Alisa, and Spade was obviously more attracted to that. She was a pretty foreign girl who was in the same fucking military as him, who had probably been through more battles with him, and she liked her fucking wine, and--Ah fuck.... She REALLY wanted to shoot some things right now. Just not Shula surprisingly enough. Maybe she should find a shooting range nearby. Nah.. Nah, non-live targets were no fucking fun. Didn't bleed. Didn't say shit. No witty banter there at all (not that her banter was ever exactly "witty").

What the fuck was she staring at? Alisa could feel Shu's eyes on her, and she couldn't tell if it was from shock, fear, or something else. While she was walking through the aisles, she glanced back to see that she was looking her over as if her clothes were some kind of issue. Wait, wait... She gave a shit about her clothes?! What the fuck was wrong with what she was wearing? It was comfortable, nothing got in the way, and it was far more practical than those frippery uniforms they had to wear. Pfft. Fuck uniforms. Good for the occasional disguise but fuck did they make things far too complicated. All those different parts... And didn't you have to put it on a certain way too? Meh, a guy back in Creta that she knew had explained it to her once but that was years ago and in another life. Or maybe it was the same life... FUCK. She could still think mostly straight! She really needed her booze.... Thinking was bad. Thinking was overrated. Just act. Act and do. Thinking only got you down. Life was simple. Kill, or be killed. Loot all the corpses you could find, there was no honor in the world. Meaning... was even more overrated than thinking. Fuck meaning. Fuck all that shit. Just give this chick some gin.

So what was her answer? What the little mouse going to answer the rabid dog huh? What was she going to say for herself? Huh? What? SAY SOMETHING BITCH! Drinking another good swig of her lovely little gin, Alisa Donnikova was the queen of impatience at the moment, straightening up from the counter to walk up to the Brigadier General as if she were her equal or some shit. Everyone else knew who Shu was, but had no idea who this brazen woman was that was speaking to her. How could a stranger speak to her like that? And how could Shula just take it? Oh-ho they had NO fucking idea.... She'd be liable to punch one of their lights out if they looked at her the wrong way but for now? They seemed content to pretend that she wasn't there. HA! Thats right you fucking pussies! BOW YOUR HEAD! Ignore it all! Ahahahahahhabwaahahahahamuahaha........ Booze. Yay for booze. Ahh... good. The weight and rush was returning. Excellent. Fuck her body for being able to clear up fast for thinking. Fuck that.

"I suppose you could say that," Alisa had noted what Shu had gotten, but made no comment, instead content to let her eyes bore into the womans skull. Let her feel uncomfortable a bit. Wonder if Spade was there in South... Wonder if she should confront him about what the fuck he had said in that hospital. Someone bumped her bad shoulder and she growled in pain. "FUCKING SHIT-ASS! WATCH WHERE THE FUCK YOU'RE GOING CUNT NUGGET!" She barked in Drachman, startling the others in the store with the volume she had achieved. Whatever. Back to Shula. Ooo, finally could meet her gaze. There's a brave little mouse. "And I needed to get away for a bit so I could think and clear my head." Yea, she bet that she needed to clear her fucking head. "I can only imagine." She murmured quietly as she turned towards the door, the smirk and grin gone leaving only a rather muted expression in its wake. Seething rage, pain (oh so much pain), and... understanding. "He's a fucking playboy. Kinda forces you to think about shit." Her voice rose to its normal level, stumbling out the door and leaning against the wall next to it, the bottle raising to her lips again. "Yeah.... He don't even know what he fucking wants. A mouse or a dog... 'course he'll pick a mouse over a rabid bitch who snaps at ankles in the street." She stared blankly ahead, some sort of resignation to her as her expression was rather devoid of emotion.

She was a gutter child. He wasn't. He was fucking brother to the goddamn Emperor of Xing! She smelled of blood caked sewers and death. He didn't. He was just... smoke, liquor, and warmth. Gritting her teeth, she raised the bottle as if to throw it as hard as she could against the ground, a tear rolling down her cheek unbidden and unwanted. Don't waste the booze. That was literally the thought that stopped her, lowering it to take another swig as she stared at the ground where the bottle would have shattered. Her weight shifted as she wiped that tear away with a slow motion, her hair hanging in her face.

Re: Closure? What is this shit?

Post by Shula Brighton on Sat Jan 07, 2012 9:13 pm

Temper and volume rose up and down like a child playing with the knob on a large stereo, going from roaring and threatening to shake the windows loose from their frames to suddenly hushed and almost thoughtful, despite the words that came through the speakers still. Alisa's eyes seemed more hazed with thought than drink, and Shula could certainly understand why; if she were able to actually get drunk, she might be the same way. "I can only imagine. He's a fucking playboy. Kinda forces you to think about shit." Spade the Playboy. Minor understatement; since Shirley's death ten years ago he'd built a pretty solid reputation as the playboy of Amestris. His rank made him famous anyway, but his actions were notorious, and he had a little black book that probably could have been a small dictionary.

With a small sigh Shula exited the shop fully, looking to the taller woman as she leaned against the wall and took a heavy swig. She could see it there; Shula wasn't blind or ignorant to it. Alisa cared about Spade, more than his army of one night stands; that look in her eyes was the look of someone who wanted to be there when he woke up in the morning and stay longer than breakfast. "Yeah.... He don't even know what he fucking wants. A mouse or a dog... 'course he'll pick a mouse over a rabid bitch who snaps at ankles in the street." Hnn... It would be so easy to say that the man who saw everything and knew so much just by a casual glance at you didn't know what he himself wanted. And that might have very well been true.

The bag crinkled as Shula shifted the bag to her right arm. Her left was out of the sling, but dammit it it wasn't still tender or aggravated carrying too much with it. "It does," Shula admitted quietly, standing near enough for Alisa to hear her soft voice, but just out of arm's reach, just in case the woman decided to act on her feelings. "I've known him for about a year, and he still leaves me with so much to think about and even more to learn." She bit her lip softly, thinking. They both wanted similar things, and had common issues. They both new the same melting voice, the same vivid green eyes, that same crooked smile as a warm, calloused hand moved to cup your cheek and lingered when you kissed his palm... Her hand lifted to tuck part of her bangs behind her ear, glancing over as Alisa's hand brushed her cheek behind a thick curtain of brown. "Alisa? ....I don't know how to make this right, or.. or even what I'm doing." She meant that in so many ways. Relationships were new territory to her, as were the consequences of other people being tossed in the mix, and with so many feelings it got so very.... complicated. "You have every reason to hate me, but... do you want to, I dunno.. go sit down and try to figure this out together?"

And there it was. The gates were open and her guard was down, revealing something that wasn't the General of South that everyone was coming to know so well, instead showing the inexperienced woman who was barely much more than a teenager.

Re: Closure? What is this shit?

Post by Alisa Donnikova on Sun Jan 08, 2012 4:57 pm

What must the little mouse think of this shit huh? God dammit... This was hardly the impression she wanted to leave of how she was. Well, the drunkard part yes. This mopey, mixed up bullshit? No. Hell, she wished it didn't even EXIST within her right now to begin with. She just wanted to get blasted and incoherent. Fuck this relationshit. Fuck her father for being right. Fuck her for not listening to that other side of her. Fuck Spade. Fuck her. Fuck everything. GOD DAMMIT ALL. And just like that, all of the depression numbed out to the warmth of her liquor, her brain becoming quite befuddled as she stood there with the woman who had her man's heart. No... She wasn't going to exit the stage with a fiery explosion of rage. She was going to exit quietly and fade to black. Yeah... yeah that sounded good.... nice and poetic or some shit...

"It does," Oh right, she was still there. Fuck. Wait.... when had she gotten that close? [i]"I've known him for about a year, and he still leaves me with so much to think about and even more to learn." Pfft. She scoffed and let the bottle hang at her side, words running through her head (not that she really knew what they were for). Yeah.. She'd walk up to him, say something like 'go be happy' and then leave. Leave him wondering for once instead of her. The playboy should be used to good byes right? Abso-fucking-lootely.... Ah shit, she knew he was going to be depressed at it.... This shit wasn't worth it. Not at all. "Alisa? ....I don't know how to make this right, or.. or even what I'm doing." Huh? She looked up to the Ishvallan mouse when she said her name, blinking slowly and maybe some difficulty. Thaaaat was it... "Izzat so? Only way for shit ta work izzome actors to leave the ffffuckin' stage." She muttered, swaying slightly as she leaned more against the wall.

"You have every reason to hate me, but... do you want to, I dunno.. go sit down and try to figure this out together?" Damn right she did. But oddly enough, did she actually hate her? Nah. She didn't feel some overwhelming desire to give her a new hole to breath from... The offer itself though caused Alisa's eyebrows to raise, staring at the leader of South with a dumbfounded disbelief. Had she heard her right? "You ain't fuckin' around are you..." She muttered after a moments silence, turning her eyes towards the ground again. Well shit... Pushing herself upright, the mixed woman stood as if she weren't drunk at all (though the glassiness of her eyes said otherwise), and turned towards Shula. "Very well missy. Less go talk this shit out..." She spoke with confidence, nodding once with only a slight sway. Oh yeah, she could definitely work this out while drunk....

Re: Closure? What is this shit?

Post by Shula Brighton on Fri Jan 13, 2012 9:24 pm

There was something to be said when you got a rare glimpse of the dualities of a person's true nature. Not to say that all peoaple were two-faced, but there was always more than what was brought to the front. Everyone was a player with a mask. Sakuya the great detective wore the mask of the great playboy Spade. The shy Ishvallan who was so new to the world hid under the image of the General who was granddaughter of another General, her mask painted for her by family traditions and expectations. Alisa was a strong, fierce warrior from Drachma, who was loud, bold, fearless, loud (again, as she only seemed to get louder), and yet? Here on this street with a bottle in her hand, her other hand wiped her cheeks clean and Shula saw an entirely different Alisa. This one wasn't loud and swearing or terrifying the surrounding populace (the hospital staff had been plenty traumatized, she'd heard); this Alisa was a woman trying to deal with a very strange and addictive lover leaving her for a woman who couldn't compare if she tried.

"Izzat so? Only way for shit ta work izzome actors to leave the ffffuckin' stage." Shula also couldn't get that drunk if she tried, but that was neither here nor there. But the truth was still in what Alisa had said; someone would have to exit. Spade had already seemed to resolve who he wanted to be with, but that was hardly fair for everyone since it left open ends with Alsa unresolved. Shula also had her own threads still not tied up, that couldn't be tied up. Not yet, and certainly not on her own. But surely things wouldn't just be considered as magically fixed if they both just dropped the centerpoints of what complicated their lives or swapped things around like a child's puzzle to make a picture. The human heart wasn't nearly that simple; it was more like a kaleidoscope with colours and patterns bursting everywhere that changed every time the lens rotated on the mirror. New patterns and colours, fragments of light and unfinished bits. It was a beautiful chaos that would make a whole in its own way, even if the picture wasn't as straightforward as a sliding puzzle.

The only solution Shula could think of was for them to try and solve it together, and she was honestly rather surprised when the tall woman said yes. Sure, she was slightly drunk, but if she had a tolerance like Spade, conversation should be just fine; it's not like Shula was going to ask her to drive anywhere. "Very well missy. Less go talk this shit out..." But talking was good. Talking led to solutions, and hopefully not getting her ass beat by a woman who gave off the impression she could have eaten the Ishvallan for breakfast and still had room for pancakes. Shula shifted her goods and followed the Drachman woman, her steps light and fast compared to Alisa's confident yet slight swaggar, walking down the street to the end of the block and across to a watering hole that was fairly popular. It had been the first bar built in South, and was one of Shu's favourites (they had the best chili cheese fries in the world). Shula held the door open once more to let Alisa in first. Alisa already had her own booze, and in a place like this they could talk without having to worry too much about anything. The barkeep already knew Shu's face and would help her call a cab for Alisa if necessary.

The tiny General slipped into a booth near the window, the seats warm with sunlight; she let out a small, relieved sigh as she put her bag into the seat next to her. Well, what NOW, Bright Eyes? Didn't plan this far ahead... Where the hell did she even begin? Asking what exactly Spade was to her? Try to clarify what she was to Spade, even though she herself couldn't fully explain it? Challenge her to rock, paper, scissors? Ask her to play a hand of cards with her? Shula's eyes fell to the table, the girl once again awkward and quiet, just as lost in her own thoughts as she'd been when she left the flat, her mind now even more tangled with the present addition of new threads. Dammit. "So..." Good. One syllable. It was a start. Her mind blanked and drifted again, more thinking out loud than addressing the issue since she really had no idea what to say since. "I wonder if all firsts are this conlicated."

Re: Closure? What is this shit?

Talking about this... right... THAT always went over well with Alisa... She ALWAYS liked to talk and think things through! OBVIOUSLY. Fuck. Her eyebrow had to twitch as she drank another good swig from that bottle, swaying from side as she wondered where in the fuck they were heading to. She hadn't been to South since this whooooole revamp of South. Fuck that shit. Rubbing her eyelids gently, she had to start walking otherwise she was going to stumble and fall over. MOVEMENT. Ah-HAaaaaaa..... ok. Shula was moving. Her guns clicked beneath her arms as she stumbled after the head of South, ignoring the stares that the pair were receiving. They. Were. Fucking. STARING. Wiping around, she glared at those that were nearest to them, growling as she bared her teeth at them. "You're eyes fucking stuck? PISS OFF ya shitheads!" She snapped, resisting the powerful urge to flip them off. Ah hell, Shula wasn't going to arrest her or some shit for this was she? Ahhhh fucccckk.....

Oh EXCELLENT. Another BAR!!! Oh-ho-ho THATS where they were! See, now she wasted her fucking time by going to the liquor store when there was a bar right there. Consequently, she wouldn't have seen Shula at all. But would that have been a good thing? Or a bad thing? Ah shit, this was waaaaaayayayayay too much thinking for how drunk she was. Cuz then they could clear the air... but then she wouldn't have to get to know the bitch that her man was leaving/cheating on her for. Ahhh tits-fuck.

Sliding in after the Brigadier General, Alisa was a little less graceful than Shu as she practically fell, or flopped, unceremoniously down. Fuck the SUN. Oi. Bright light light bright bright light bright light! Turning her brown eyes away, she placed her bottle of gin down without caring if it was impolite to bring alcohol to a bar. Fuck manners! Pfft. But what about why the two of them were there huh? Now she stared right at the mouse of a woman before her, the pretty Ishvallan girl. She was hardly surprised to see her staring at the table looking all uncomfortable now. Yeah, you would feel awkward in this sort of shit! You should. It was like, a requirement or something. "So..." IT SPEAKS. "I wonder if all firsts are this conlicated." Pffft, great way to start.

"I think itsscuz we had the unfortunate coincidence that Spade is both of our firsts. Fucking playboy... He don't know shit about relationships. Just one night stands." She muttered in frustration, a hand running through her hair as she glared daggers at the table. Yeah, fuck him! oh wait... She wanted to still. That was one of the issues here. Fuck. "Or maybe I'm being too ffffucking candid. Or is it bitter? Ah fuck knows..." Scratching the back of her head, she sighed in frustration as her forehead came to rest on her arm that was now laying on the table before her. Only her hair could really be viewed by the General now along with the top of her head so that should offer some kind of comfort. Maybe. Aw tits this SUCKED.
