Pressing on... Empty Pressing on...

Post by Guest Sat Dec 10, 2011 2:27 am

The air was cold and brisk, and the sun was just about to drop below the trees, making the air grow colder as well as blow much harder. The snows have already fallen, and it made it rather difficult for any kind of movement on the ground. Due to the everlasting threat of frostbite. But there was a man who walked through it with not an issue. He walked with a large cloak on his shoulders and huddled his arms under them. Making sure that his hands and also his arms were not exposed the the wind and soon to be falling snow. but he walked with no burden. But, he has walked in a few circles already. he was very new to this place, and he wanted to come her e just to get lost. But more in the sense of finding some relaxation not to really...get lost. But, it did give him what he need, time to think. He never really had enough time to think about much on his trips across the lands. Though he walked alone, something else usually broke into his thoughts and prevented him the time he wanted to do so. Ever since leaving his home behind he was...trying...to make this new sort of life work.

*Whew*...Arthas... He said to himself, with the sound of a small quiver. Shaking a little in the brisk cold. Look what you have gotten yourself into this time. He then began to stop and looked around, seeing that he had seen the same things about 3 different times, making him give a small sigh of annoyance. He had been through worse though. he had been through deserts and many other bad places. The last thing he would have thought of being lost in was a place such as this. But, here he was, lost in a sea of trees, bushes and snow. It also annoyed him that the blades he carried were beginning to chill his skin, and the chains that they were attached to were doing far worse cause they brushed against him every time he walked. He did not know if there were any laws or rules that state anything about carrying blades, so he hid them.

Well, alright....lets try this again, and try to stay straight...I want to be out of here before it gets too dark. He thought, and again walked forward, holding his hood even more over his head so that it wont blow off and expose his face to the elements.

Alex would walk Through the cold wilderness of Gelemorte. He was there to find out about his true heritage. He countinued to walk intending to get lost so he could train in the cold wilderness after getting to town. He had a blade on him but no one would notice.  The blade was a wakizashi and was tied to his left automail arm. They matched and Were pretty much covered. As he walked he heard someone speak. He went over to investigate and saw a man. He stood there readied to strike the man with some alchemy if he proved hostile. He yelled "Yo you need any help there man?" he said this with a small smile and continued watching the man. His hand at his side ready to snap and make that first spark. He stood there and awaited a response hoping this one wasn't as hostile as others he had met.

Pressing on... Empty Re: Pressing on...

Post by Wolfgang Murinyo Sun Dec 11, 2011 2:26 pm

Twas yet another wonderful Gelemortian day for the Gelemortian soverign. Today, he'd been able to get his guards to stay home, confident that if anyone tried to attack him, they'd get to see Alpha and Beta before they could see nothing ever again. Thinking that thought in his head, he gave a slight laugh, grinning to himself. Ah, yes... His babies, they were. Pulling from his custom holsters, he drew his custom double-pistols, fully automatic and simply adorable. He looked at Alpha first, scraping away a bit of lint that had blemished the little thing's poor surface. Oh, his poor, poor baby... All filthy and dirty. Deserved much better than that, much better indeed...

He turned his attention to Beta, and noticed something rather awful! Beta wasn't loaded! How could he, master of all firearms, king of the clips, and gun guru extraordinare, forget to load one of his precious, precious, babies!? He was so ashamed of himself, so terribly ashamed. After a moment of sorrow, he slammed a clip into both of Beta's barrels, and tested a few bullets on a tree. Satisfied, he carried on walking until he noticed two people standing near each other, about twenty yards off. Noting from sight, and expertise at weapon recognition, both of them were armed, one with some form of blades and chains, and the other with a discreetly hidden wakizashi. Honestly, Wolfgang admired his discretion, for it was rare that anyone was able to conceal a weapon that well. Had it not been Wolfgang, few others would have seen it.

As the two were armed, Alpha and Beta were still at the ready, his beautiful babies. So he slowly approached the two, after one of them spoke to the other. With a bright grin on his rugged face, he beamed at the both of them. "Eyyo, now, me men, was happ'nin, youse guys, eh? Wolfy Murinyo, gentses, pleasin tah meetcha! 'Ow'yah been likin' ol' Gele so fars, 'en?"

Pressing on... Empty Re: Pressing on...

Arthas walked for another 10 to 20 minuets and all it brought to him was nothing but sour luck. He had nothing to say cause he had not made any true motion forward and out of the place where he was. The trees played small mind games on him, and with him trying to find his way out and with the weather kicking up again, it made him wonder how he was going to get out. He had circled another two times before he actually made at least 200 yards forward. It was an okay motion forward motion to him, but he did not have a clue how far he had to go. He placed marks, and placed signs, and everything else but with not luck of any true success. So he again stopped and looked around the newer area he was now in. Wearing a small scowl on his face. This was getting old fast.

Will this ever end? He thought, and tried to think of another way out. Though he was running low on both options and patience. Possibly soon his energy, cause his eyes were beginning to grow rather heavy. Also, his was beginning to not feel his fingers and toes. The shoes he was wearing beginning to thin a little cause he had been using the same shoes for so long. So he was beginning to feel a little miserable. Sleeping out here would not help him either. So, he with a lack or motivation, moved forward again, but it was not long till he heard a voice.

"Yo you need any help there man?" The voice caught him very off guard and looked up to see another person there. A kid actually. Which also got him, what was he doing out here? It was about to be dark, and the weather was getting worse, but at the same time, any help would be great in his position right now. So he was not going to say any questions. So he looked up with a small grin, rather embarrassed actually, then spoke back.

Actually that would b- before he finished his words he heard another voice...but the accent was so think he could barley catch onto anything the person said. "Eyyo, now, me men, was happ'nin, youse guys, eh? Wolfy Murinyo, gentses, pleasin tah meetcha! 'Ow'yah been likin' ol' Gele so fars, 'en?"

Arthas gave a small laugh as he heard this..two different languages...so he gave a nod with a small look of nervousness. Then spoke in Cretanian...hoping the other guy knew it as well.

Umm...could we speak in one language please? heh...heh....

Alright I just didnt know what anyone speaks around these parts He smiled. he was probably seen as a kid but he was an 18 year old alchemist and state none the less. He could do some tricks for them but what would be the point. He would just be ignored and forgotten. he looked at them both one was a rugged man probably from around here as he didnt recognize his accent from anywhere people claimed to be from. He had heard Amestrian to drachman and still he did not recognize that accent. Maybe that was why it seemed so new to him even so he countinued to listen hoping to find out more about his forefathers land. How much could it hurt to listen to someone right. he put his hand in his pocket feeling a chill he snapped and made a little fire around him for warmth.

Wolfy nodded to the lingual suggestions and in moments, before either of the other two could have noticed his intent, he had enveloped them each in a quick bear-hug, before steping ack a bit, grinning. "A'righty den, a'ighty, soes what brings youse guys so far up north? Ent too many peoples come to ol Gele no mores. S'possin that might be why ent too many peoples speakin Gele neithers... No matter! Soes, anywho, what's your names?" Beaming at the two, his ruggedness, brought on by the factor of reaching his middle aged years, was no longer that of the forty year old, and the leader of the icy lands glowed with a glamour fitting to a man twenty years his junior. His ruggedness appeared to be that of a youthful rascal, not an aging scoundrel. Twas that youthful glow that came from his young spirit, in fact. And such spirit was becoming rather apparent in the midst of company.

Arthas looked to the two gave a small laugh to the two and thought for a moment...cause he actually did not know what to think or do cause of the very..VERY thick accent said. It really made no sense what so ever. He actually almost asked for a repeat. It was so bad for him. The language itself seemed like it was new. but after a few moments of scratching his head and also pondering on what to say next he looked to both of the guys and gave a small nod. Now finally able to understand what the man had said. No matter how bad it was and how thick it was.

Oh uh, my name is Arthas. Arthas Romario. Well, I can through here cause I love wondering. And...well...That is usually what I do best.

He said with a calmer demeanor, and also with a firm and happy tone. It was good to speak to someone after the time he had walked...especially after walking in circles for a few hours. It was actually a happy moment for him. He needed help, so this was more than just enough to do.

Then the other man spoke this was rather interesting as he spoke in a understandable accent. And he had no trouble comprehending what was said.

Giving a great cavkle, he grinned at his two companions in the woods, awaiting their response to his impeccably unintelligible dialect.

Wolfy smiled at the pair, not noticing that they had no idea what half of what he said EVEN MEANT. He understood them perfectly well, and that was all that really mattered. Grinning to Arthas first, he spoke cheerfully and rather casually. "Well, I happens'a be the Roy de Royaume de Gelemorte; Ruler'o'the kingdom of Gele, 'nother words. Aaaaand I weres just takin' a stroll, when I happen'a notice youse guys around. Stopped'ta says hello, y'know?" As to Alex's statement, he was ABOUT to say yes, when his phone blared out "I Don't Like the Drugs", his ringtone for Gaia.

Placing a hand up for the two to wait a minute, he held his phone up to his ears. "Heyyo, Gaia, whatcha got fer me? Uh-huh. Okay. Okay. I'll be there soon. Peace and love, peace and love." Turning his attention back to Alex, he smiled. "Gotta go now, but the nearest town would be if youse head straight back from wheres I came,'n then keep goin' straight til youse reach town. Peace and love, me bredahs. Nice meetin' youse." He grinned and waved, before turning back to walk straght, opposite from whence he came.
