If you'd started a conversation by saying a bionic priest on a murderous rampage had been hit by a limo owned by one of the Seven Deadly Sins, most people would assume this was some sort bar joke that ultimately led to a groan-worthy punchline. The fact that it was true and honestly that horribly ironic just made Tanandra giggle inwardly. He'd been rather difficult to take down, too; when the limo hit the priest, Tanandra was more worried about the lawsuit and scandal. When he opened his eyes, was unharmed and attacked, she didn't hesitate to take him down. Even chipped her nail polish doing it. It was a lot of effort to beat the priest down and win against him, which intrigued Tanda more than not. She knew why her strength was superhuman, but what was his excuse?

Keeping him sedated had been the only safe option as they flew back Rouen, Tanandra deep in thought before she called on the only people she knew of that could help: the covert scientists in Esparia who made her darling wolfies. They would know what to do. It had been some weeks with this priest in the Palace of Versailles as her unconscious guest, the scientists working day and night to figure out the intricate details of his nature. He was human, but also not. So much of his body was automail or enhanced mechanically, and yet the lynchpin was a device that harnessed around his human brain. Now that had certainly been interesting. This man wasn't a robot and was very much alive, but he was entirely programmable. It had taken the utmost care and delicate tuning to crack his programming and replace it with commands more suited to Tanandra.

Her wolfies were beautiful and strong, but she didn't like taking them with her to foreign excursions as her guards unless she had to. Of all the things she cared about at least a little, Tanandra wouldn't want to see any of her darling doggies harmed. Given how stongly he'd fought against her, perhaps this priest could prove useful to her.

Tanandra walked into the room, Esparian doctors, scientists and programmers buzzing everywhere like the brilliant insects they were. It was almost kind of beautiful. "Is he ready," Tanandra asked, one hand poised on her hip as the other reached down to scratch the ears of a large gray wolf that had walked alongside her. Her green curls fell loosely about her body, a long silk skirt slit up to both hips draping her legs. The bustier on her torso was just enough to lace up her back and cover her breasts, the exquisite sin dressed comfortably to offset the lush Rouenian heat.

"Yes, Mistress," answered one older doctor as he adjusted his glasses. "It's been tricky, but I believe we have successfully overridden his previous programming. We've uploaded the languages you requested, but he will go off your verbal commands. He really is a fascinating find, Mistress, but we won't know the full extent of his abilities until we wake him up." Tanandra walked slowly over to the resting form of Alonso, reaching out a hand to gently brush up his cheek. Not bad... Not bad at all.

A dark-lipped smile curved up her thick lips. "Well then, let's wake up our guest," The doctor nodded with a slight bow, assisting the others to disconnect all IV feeds and monitors and inject a stimulant to bring his heartrate up enough to allow him to ease back into consciousness. The wolf at Tanda's thigh gave a soft, confused whine as his mistress stood just out of arm's reach of the stranger. She waited.

"Bonjour... Can you hear me?" The doctors had moved away from the programmable priest, knowing that if it attacked Tanda would be able to subdue him much faster than any of them could. Tanda's tone and expression were both oddly gentle as her guest came to, not wanting to give him any need for distress or alarm. "How are you feeling?"

De sang, les cerises et au chocolat Empty Re: De sang, les cerises et au chocolat

The world had been dark, his mechanical side awake and waiting to carry out its mission and what was left of his humanity sedated and unable to to carry out the orders his "leash" ordered him to carry out. He laid there... in wait, the world there but not there at the same time. On occasion an alarm went off in his systems that someone, or something was tapering with him, his security systems trying to defend him. But, though it fought hard it was eventually overwhelmed. Reprogrammed, his master changing from Marcus to Tanandra Collier and his corrupted returned to its former glory. Yet still he waited alive but, not alive. Then, he heard the voice of the one who would be his new master.

"Bonjour... Can you hear me?"

"How are you feeling?"

"Yes mistress," he said in a monotone, as his eyes began to open and look upon her with a robotic stare. It was neither a threatening stare, nor one with any emotion just simply blank. "Checking..........100% operational. Data.......no longer corrupted. Awaiting your orders," He said bowing down to Tanandra on one knee and looking up to here almost expectantly and would have been in normal circumstances. He counted multiple people in the room.... and a wolf, there temperatures were heightened, they obviously felt something, but to Alonso he was unsure. Not familiar with these things called human emotions.

There was a moment of quiet anticipations, and were Tanandra more appreciative of classic literature, she might have wondered if this was how Dr. Frankenstein felt as his creature woke and moved on his own for the first time. It was rather exciting, and it'd be nice if the Esparian scientists had managed to tunr off that incessant need he'd had to kill everything in sight when he woke up; it would really be a shame to have to kill him after all that effort, and he was a rather lovely thing to look at. But straps undone and doctors moving away, the man woke up slowly and stepped away from his table, looking around a moment before kneeling.

"Yes, Mistress." Mm, good accent, polite, and kneeling to his Mistrss automatically. Nice. Very nice. Tanandra smiled, reaching her fingers down to caress Alonso's cheek delicately, as though she were troking down the satin wrapping on a new blade. His flesh was soft and smooth, like a fresh peach still nursing life from the tree it was a part of. "Checking..........100% operational. Data.......no longer corrupted. Awaiting your orders."

Good, he was functional, and aware that he was okay. he seemed a little confused, but he wasn't acting on it, simply waiting to be told what to do... Hopefully he wouldn't need to be instructed on a minute by minute basis, that'd get old fast. Her fingertips brushed up his cheek once more, the caress incredibly gentle. "You may stand. Walk with me, please." Just in case the bugs weren't worked out, Tanda wanted to go slowly with him and get a fee for what she'd just brought into her home. This beautiful and deadly new toy would take some time to get familiar with. Her hand pulled away, and Tanda took a step back as she turned away from Alonso to start walking out of the room, back into the rest of the palace. The wolf at her side sprang to his feet and turned to follow. "So tell me, do you have a name?"

It would seem on the outside he was unfazed by her touching hiss cheek, not flinching, moving, or anything really. He just continued to look upon her with his blank mechanical stare. However on the inside he was unsure of what it was but it felt almost... warm? Perhaps it was a malfunction his scans hadn't picked up. "Yes mistress," he said as he stood to his full height upon her orders. He then began to follow in toe, observing everything as they walked. Also observing the wolf that continued to be there. It obviously wasn't the usual wolf you found in the wild. It was a little bigger than average. Other than that, he was unsure of any special properties. He was only able to notice thanks to attention to detail though, obviously someone who was inexperience with them could never truly tell.

She had then asked his name. "Name? ......searching...... Alonso Tres Farello." He said after searching his data banks for the answer she desired. He continued observing the way as they walked, looking at patterns, decorations, and any people or wolves they passed by them. It was apparent the doctors wouldn't be following, their job obviously complete. As he had seen so far there was nothing that was a direct threat to him or his master. Not that would keep his systems from being on high alert....

Quietly he rose and followed, his footsteps gently echoing her own as they walked through the beautiful palace. Such a curiosity, a fusion of man and machine. His body internally was human, according to the doctors, but the collar around his brain what what made him what he was and operated the special limbs and enhancements. Tanandra couldn't help but wonder what he viewed himself as, and if that collar were removed if his consciousness would cease to be or if the man attached to the brain were someone different entirely.

"Alonso," she repeated, letting the name roll off her tongue gently. Honey-coloured eyes flashed over her shoulder at him as they walked. "You are at the Palace of Versailles in Rouen; this is your new home, and you shall serve as my bodyguard. I have many guards here, but none of them I can take off the island easily. You shall fill that purpose. Do you have any questions?" He'd said he was awaiting orders, and so her instructions were simple for now, and made easier by the fact that there was nothing immediately to guard her from.

Tanandra turned the corner, the wolf silently at one side with Alonso on the other. Without saying anything or directly telling him so, she was showing her new guard the way to the main hall of the palace and where the rooms were. Up to the second story and through the beautiful double doors. This bedroom once belonged to many important and powerful historical figures, namely the murdered royal family of Rouen that died when Tanda's siblings were young. How funny that now her own family was dead along with almost all of Rouen's natives, and the palace was hers as a gift from her darling Aurel. Some men gave flowers, some gave jewelry. Aurel gave eternal life, beauty, and a palace. Can't top that.

The bedroom was large, lush, and smelled of exotic perfumes, fur and the honeyed pheromones of sex. Long, graceful strides crossed the room, petal-soft silk moving around her legs as Tanda stepped to her bed and leaned up against the piled pillows, the wolf jumping up to stay at her side. "Can you tell me about yourself, Alonso?"

De sang, les cerises et au chocolat Empty Re: De sang, les cerises et au chocolat

"Understood mistress. Questions?" He processed this for a second and came to a conclusion. "Negative, your instructions are clear mistress." He said in his robotic like tone. He continued to follow her around the corner. He continued mapping out the layout in his head, remembering every crevice and doorway, every nook and cranny. In fact, at this rate it was possible that he might have the whole building mapped out. Besides any hidden places of course but, the map would certainly be helpful in defending his mistress from harm. Those who dared to harm her would find their lives forfeit, not just from him but, also from the many faces he had seen passing them by.

For now... all he had was their faces but he would work out profiles for each person in this building so that no trespassers who sneak in would go unnoticed. These countermeasures would of course take time to set but, once they were in place it would be a hell of a back up defense for enemies of his mistress. Suddenly she ask about him. What could he tell her besides his orders? Was she asking about his life before all this? He came to the conclusion that yes, that was the information she required. "Searching... compiling information desired... compilation completed... initiating transmission..." He said sounded exactly like a computer might.

"Subject Alonso Tres Farello... Created January 1st, 1989... created by Michael Farello...," he seemed to hesitate on the part about his father but, he soon continued on. "Helped the church of Santus Gloria for many years and then thrown out by Michael Farello's son, Christopher Farello, after he had passed away. Soon found and remade by the creator's brother, Marcus De Farello, repurposed as a machine meant to be used as a weapon... Data after is incomplete... possibly happened during data corruption..." He finished, not thinking he had left any important details out. At least... not to his knowledge. "Anything else mistress?" He asked in his monotoned voice.

Negative. Affirmative. Quiet yet monotone voice... Hopefully that would shift on its own or could be adjusted with some tweaking once she'd figured him out a little more; that collar on his brain was certainly computerized, all right. Computers never had been Tanandra's passion, or even a mild interest to her. But she really hoped it would be adjustable, because as much as people end up having conversations with their electronics, Tanandra had never really fancied it; how much enjoyable companionship could you have with the world's deadliest smartphone?

Still, the way he was watching everything around them as they had walked was interesting, and even now as she leaned up against plush pillows on her bed, he was still watching, still analyzing. "Alonso Tres Farello." Alonso, hm? Not bad. Very classic Esparian name. And spending years with the church certainly explained the priest attire... and also made her wonder about his other programming. If he was used in the church, there were functions and tasks he could have served, but faith was something that couldn't be programmed. Like any other human instinct, it was felt and believed and then acted upon. And someone had already tried to use him for the same purpose she was, but failed, hm? Wasn't life just interesting like that.

"I assume Marcus is dead, then." Considering the mess she'd peeped in on before getting out of the area with her "prize" quick, fast, and in a hurry, she certainly didn't doubt that there were issues with his programming. However he seemed pretty docile for now, so maybe her men had gotten it right. Gently her hand moved to scratch the wolf behind the ears as he laid his head on her thigh. Tanandra thought about it for a moment. Alonso had summed up his life in a minute and wanted to know if she wanted to know anything else. if that was an indicator dinners would be rather quiet at least. But surely there was something more to know about him. "So, Alonso... This is your new home, and I will have a room prepared for you if you tell me what your needs are. you are... unique among those who live here. You are also free to explore the grounds, and come and go through the palace as you please." Tanandra smiled softly, watching Alonso, wondering just what his needs were. Did he need food and sleep or simply a 220 outlet?

"Yes mistress?" He asked at the mention of his name. Surely she had an order for him and he was ready to receive it. But strangely her order never came, he wonder what it was she was saying his name for? Was she simply stating it to see if he would respond and prove to be in working order? Or alternatively, had she simply forgotten her order. There was also the possibility that she was simply uttering his name he supposed. Whatever it was, he was unsure. Then, that is when her question came. At the mention of his... uncle as it were he suddenly tensed up. This was quickly corrected by the leash around his brain, perhaps he had, had a sudden malfunction? Whatever it was he didn't know.

"Yes... Marcus De Farello... Marcus De Farello... is deceased... my mistress..." He said, seemingly hesitating. What was wrong with his systems? Certainly he would have to be looked at soon. Something certainly seemed to be off. She went on to ask him of his needs. "...My needs?" He asked not only her but, himself as well. He began processing the question and soon came up with a suitable answer. "Needs required... sleep to prevent the shutting down of the human brain... tools for which to help with extensive repairs that my internal systems can not fix by themselves... food and water to keep the organic components within me from shutting down... no other needs detected," he finished going over all his needs.

Tanandra watched Alonso as he seemed to question himself. It was strange. Answers came up as clearly organized as though her to-do lists were being read to her off her Blackberry. Alonso was just as human as she had been, physically at least, having the same basic needs for survival. But whatever the collar around his brain was kept him automated. Truly, finding Alonso was a blessing, and something she would never find again... a very special toy. He was cute, too, which certainly didn't hurt, either.

Stretching out in the way a panther delicately stretches each muscle without really moving, Tanda stretched her legs and crossed them slowly, the sheer silk that draped her thighs moving to the side to expose her leg from ankle to hip there the fabric held onto the waistband. "Well, if you have any other needs, I will see that they're met... We wouldn't want your skills compromised." There was a dark purr to her voice, wondering just what Alonso was fully capable of. She knew as a fighter he gave her a run for her money, and he was probably either trained or programmed in many ways to fight... and those would be lovely to see and test. She adjusted, reclining more into her pillows. "And hopefully you will find something pleasureable to pass your time when not in service to keep you from being... bored." Ideas swirled Tanandra's mind, pondering the many uses of her new coin-operated boy. Tomorrow... Tomorrow she would start putting his skills and services to the test.

Alonso's cheeks felt warm at the site of his mistress's leg. What was this? Some kind of malfunction? Could he be needing coolant? But the feeling was soon put in its place by the collar around his brain. He would have to run another diagnostic later. But for now he continued to listen to her. That was his main function after all, besides protecting her of course. Of course if his skilled were compromised he would be rather useless to her wouldn't he? After all, that's why he was here right? To service her with his mind, body, and soul. To protect her and help with her every whim? It wasn't a hard job and he didn't really feel wronged. But, it was a wonder, could he feel wronged? Or was he nothing but a doll, a simple play thing with shinier bells and whistles.

"Yes mistress. If my skills were be compromised I wouldn't be able to follow your orders to peek performance." He said in his monotone voice. It was true, any deficiency would certainly make things difficult. Like a broken part, loss of power, his human parts not getting proper nutrition. All of these were possible dooming traits he had. The next thing she said puzzled him. He completely missed the possible meaning perhaps? Or maybe it was just an observation he did not quite understand. He would of asked her but at this point it seemed redundant. He was hers and he would follow his orders to a tee. "Yes.... my mistress," he stated still monotone.
