~PUDDI PUDDI PUDDI~

Post by Valdís Raghild on Wed May 16, 2012 12:23 pm

"Hey there everyone! My name is Valdis Raghild Heldatter, of Raghild Pudding Company, and I'd like to inform you all that we are having a sale! That's right; head into any Raghild Pudding store and you can get four twelve-packs of pudding for twenty-four Cretan dollars! You heard right; that's literally half a Cretan dollar per pudding cup, a real steal! But there's more! We now have, for a limited time only, triple-fudge peanut butter pudding, in a one-gallon tub, for eight dollars! And if you get both of these items together, you can save four dollars on your purchase. So hurry down to Raghild Pudding before it's too late!" Ah... Valdis loved her stores... They had TVs and the TVs played her commercials every now and then. SHE LIKED HER COMMERCIALS!~ And indeed, she WAS that vain; so sue her, she could afford to hire a lawyer and make MORE money from your pathetic attempt! But yes, she was indeed sitting at a booth in one of her many stores, eating spoonfuls of chocolate pudding, feeding every other spoonful to Thunderbutt, the best walrus in the world. Which, of course, isn't much of a statement... Nobody wants to be a walrus... But still!

Anyways, she was eating pudding with her walrus, when she heard the door swing open, and a man walked in. Glancing at him, she studied him, casually eating her pudding as she did so. She liked looking at the customers as they walked in. Why? Who knew? She certainly didn't, but she found it interesting. Deciding to engage him in conversation, as the two were alone in the store, besides her walrus, she smiled. HOPEFULLY he spoke Cretan, for if not, SCREW HIM AND HIS FAT WIIIIIIIIIIFE. "Hey there!~ Welcome to Raghild Pudding; come here often?"

Oliver paused as a small child bellowed at him, turning to see the short pink haired girl sat quite happily at one of the booths of the shop. He paused, as if to inspect her, before looking around to see if she had intended her words for someone else. Realising he was currently the only other person there, he figured she meant him and smiled.

Being born to Cretan parents, Oliver knew a fair bit of their language, though Amestrian was his native tongue, hence, he understood the pink haired girls words and responded in kine. "Good afternoon," Oliver's tone was a bit slurred as he spoke, as if he wasn't quite sure of himself.

Turning to face Valdis completely, the man eyed the chocolate pudding currently grasped in her hands and laughed lightly. "Which pudding would you say is the best?" Not really realising who the pink-haired girl was, he spoke to her like on might talk to a child - carefully and delicately.

AH, WHAT A CHARMING FELLOW WAS THIS. He said good afternoon! SUCH A GOOD THING TO WISH UNTO SOMEONE ELSE. So she would return the favor, by moving her lips up and down and making sounds happen. "And a good afternoon to you too, good sir! Indeed, many an afternoon is good when there is pudding." To which Thunderbutt snorted rather loudly, laying on his side, and flopped his snout to the side, in contentment and agreement; PUDDING WAS AMAZING. I mean, if it WASN'T amazing, how had she earned her picture in Forbes, or the seventeen billion dollars in net worth that she owned? Certainly not at a lemonade stand. Though actually, lemonade and pudding would probably sell well together... IDEA. Taking out a clipboard from her purse, she jotted down lemonade and shoved it back in the women's storage device.

As he glanced back in her direction, as she finished her note-taking, she heard him quiz unto her a quizzical question of a quizzical sort. "The best pudding, eh? Hmmm... That's a tough one..." Well... QUALITATIVELY, that is. The best TASTING pudding was a hard choice. But the most EXPENSIVE pudding would be caramel, as it always was. So he should get caramel. Most definitely, in fact. "Hmm... Caramel's always really good. Oh, or maybe you could check out the sales? Those looked like they were good choices, y'know." BWAHAHA- hrm... Well... She wasn't neccesarily LYING to him. Rather, she was selling him high quality pudding for high prices! TOTALLY LEGIT.

Oliver took a moment to mull over the small girl's words, she spoke very maturely for what he figured was a girl not far into double digits. Smiling, he turned towards the pudding counter and picked up the caramel one, rolling the item in his hands as if to inspect its quality. "Do you have any for a special occasion?" Oliver cast the pink haired girl another glance, trying to figure out what seemed a bit off about her - child's body and adult's mind?

Sighing deeply, he placed the caramel pudding on the counter and didn't wait for Val to respond before he continued talking. "You see, there is a special person I wish to treat, and said special person should have a special pudding, yes?"
