Post by Silvac Tue Sep 11, 2012 8:57 pm

A breeze blasted through Silvac's long purple hair causing it to flutter around his shoulders and tap his back. The large green eyes danced to follow a strand of hair that had fallen upon his elongated face for a few moments before focusing at the matters on hand. He was hungry which meant that he had to find something to eat, whether it be human or animal. He'd prefer that it was animal so he took the time to come from his hiding spot in the sewers to the open city in search of a grocery store or a random deer that wandered into the city by mistake. He noted that there were several around but he'd have difficulty getting into them due to the fact he wasn't exactly human; in some cases he could approach humans and see if they were willing to help him... Most of the time they'd run away screaming something about a hideous abomination of nature or something of the like. The large Chimerae clenched his hands tighter against the fabric that was against his thighs; it always irritated him a little that humans couldn't accept him into society but he really couldn't blame them due to his... more than strange appearance.

Giving a bit of a snort he moved to one of the fire escapes next to the building and slowly descended down it. He made sure to pause every now and again using his sense of smell, taste and hearing to see if anyone had noticed him. Nothing so far, which meant for him that he would more than likely be able to secure a meal. It took him roughly fifteen minutes to get down to the second floor which he had to jump down from in order to get off of the fire escape. He landed and rolled so that his fall wouldn't hurt him and he would avoid as much noise as he possibly could. The rumble of a car made him dive into a garbage pile; he distinctly could her the crackle of a radio and the whine of a dog that hadn't been fed since breakfast. It crunched over one of the bags Silvac had knocked over and just kept on moving, the large chimerae waited for a full five minutes before popping his head out of the garbage pile. Lucky for him the cruiser was gone and he was free to exit the... less than desirable garbage pile.

Silvac poked his head around a corner checking one way and then the next; lately there have been more cruisers in this area because he had continually nicked packaged meat from the grocery store on this particular street. The only reason why is because that they had the most compared to other stores that the large Chimerae had taken from; it had a much larger selection as well but that was besides the point. Silvac made a mad dash across the street and slid into the alley that was next to the store; he made a quick note that there were some new cameras, one of which was pointed right at him. The chimerae smashed the camera with his tail and bared his teeth; hopefully this was a video recorded one instead of a live person. If it was the latter he would have some issues getting food. He held his breath for a few minutes, no alarms sounded and no person came out from the back door. With a long relieved exhale the Chimerae made his way past the remaining two camera's(not smashing these ones since they didn't point at him) and to the back door that he had broken through last time. Silvac tested the door to see if it was locked; it was a force of habit really but he knew it would be. With a grunt the Chimerae shouldered the door once, twice, then three times causing the door to bust down off of it's hinges just like the last few times he had come through the store. They just kept replacing the damn thing without actually re enforcing it.

Silvac made his way to the meat section of the store and was about to pick out some larger cuts of beefs when his tongue flicked out giving them a smell. As he figured the ones that they left out were poisoned... For obvious reasons the owner of the store figured it was just some dumb animal that was breaking into his store but now they probably would have a reason to believe other wise. He hopped over the counter and began rummaging through the supplies behind the counter sniffing some of the more suspicious ones before pocketing a few large cuts of beef that were hidden deeper into the fridge. Given a few hours these cuts would be ready to eat since Silvac didn't care for food that was cooked now days Since it didn't taste any better in his opinion. He made sure to take as much as he could carry safely since he was positive he wouldn't be able to raid this place again any time in the future. Silvac quietly slunk out the back and was almost out the door when he heard the distinct crunch of a foot on gravel...

WHY. WHY. WHYYYYYYYYYYYY. WHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYYYYYYYYY!?

She'd JUST gotten to the dock at Xing, the one with the nice rendezvous back to Lokheim, and BAM. Out of the blue, her IDIOT assistant calls and tells of a crisis in London! SO WHAT THEIR PUDDING FACTORY EXPLODED!? HE COULD JUST BUILD A NEW ONE. Idiot fool, making her travel all the way back to Creta from Xing. She could, and WOULD slap the fool!

She soon arrived on seen, saw the factory in ruins, and merely facepalmed at the sight. Her assistant came up, and prepared to explain the damage, but was silenced by a jumping-punt to the face, a powerful feat for such a small person. "IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDIIIIIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOOOT!! SHUT UP AND FIX IT!!" And with that, she slapped him in the face, despite his now broken nose and jaw, both from her vicious assault, and she walked away. She had important places to be, and things to do. Namely, she wanted a steak, and was going to GET a steak.

So she approached a store, but found it to be locked. Banging on the door for a minute, she quickly became enraged. Sure, there were several stores within walking distance of this one. But nope. She'd selected her prey's den, and it was her prey. So instead, she headed around to the back entrance, sincerely angered.

What she saw there, though... Was odd. A hulk of a man, though more beast than ACTUAL man, carrying... The beef. "Sweet mother of Hel, those look good..." Muttering softly to herself, she then looked dead in his eyes, her scornful wrath on display like a fashion store's mannequin models. "HEY, YOU! I WORKED HARDER THAN THE WARRIORS OF VALHALLA EVER HAVE TO GET A CUT OF BEEF AFTER A LONG DAY OF KICKING FACES IN AND MANAGING A MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR INDUSTRY! GIVE ME A CUT OF THAT, OR SO HELP ME, MAY THE GODS HAVE MERCY!!" Well then... This'll have an... ending... Of sorts.

Savor the moment(Open) Empty Re: Savor the moment(Open)

Post by Silvac Thu Sep 13, 2012 12:02 am

Silvac blinked in surprise his eyes looking this small female, at first he thought she was a child but something about how she held herself... Something told him she wasn't a child even though her demeanor could of possibly suggested otherwise. His ears twitched at hearing her mutter in his native tongue; a brief flash of memory brought his mother to mind since she was the one who taught him how to speak in both languages... Obviously one after the other. The chimerae shrugged off one of the larger cuts of beef his eyes never leaving the smaller females as she screamed some nonsense in Cretan; he wasn't sure about industry but if she wanted food Silvac wasn't about to say no to a woman when it came to food. He'd grip the top of it gently and toss it at the female his eyes flashing softly as he shifted one of the other cuts of beef to the other shoulder that the large cut of beef was on. He'd wait for the female to catch it before taking a few steps forward his eyes taking in her features, not in a predatory way but in a gentle curious sort. Silvac was slow to trust males and people who did not fully approach him but this smaller female obviously had no issue with that sort of deal judging by how she didn't seem to notice his.. outlandish appearance. The large chimerae grunted gently as he went down to one knee so that his eyes were level with Validis's, he always figured that getting down to someone else's level was more friendly than standing all high and mighty. His voice cracked like a rock and seemed to break before words actually formed; he hadn't spoken to anyone or anything for almost four months and his voice was ill used.

No... need....

The Chimerae slowly stood back up after a few moments of watching Validis gauging her reaction, he couldn't exactly tell what the female would be thinking quite yet but he was sure after enough time with this... probably rather excitable female. He'd take a step back and glance over at the camera's that were still in operation. With a grunt he swiped the other two off of the wall and against the pavement; there was no need for them to hear anything that was going to go on here. The less that this owner knew about the chimerae or anyone that knew about him the better. Silvac made sure to push some of the beef into his pockets secretly cursing the fact he did not have a bag anymore. The last bag that he had was torn apart by a horde of rats that decided to try to take the large chimerae's food supply. While it worked after nearly two hours and a couple dozen dead rats... Silvac shook his head and glanced over at the female, now wasn't the time to remiss about his backpack. He had to stay focused on the matter on hand. He simply stared at Validis, not saying a word nor making a move. His instincts told him to do so many things at this point he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do....

She blinked, not once, but twice... He just... Threw her the steak...? No hassle or anything!? Ahh... Well then... GOOD! SO HE SHOULD HAVE DONE! She wasn't kidding about the whole Gods-have-mercy bit! But apparently, there was no need. He'd spoken those words in Lokhyn tongue, actually, which gave Valdis reason to cock an eyebrow in slight surprise. "You speak Lokhyn, eh? What's your name, guy? Mine's Valdis Raghild, so you can call me that, I suppose." Glancing down at the uncooked beef in her hand, she ripped off a sizable chunk of the large slab and tore a bite off with teeth well-sharpened by a healthy diet of animal meat, and the occasional dead plant-thing.

Noting then, however, that he was kneeling, Valdis made the sudden realization he was MOCKING HER. So she scowled as she delivered a painful stomp aimed at his kneecap. "Stop that, stand up straight, I don't need any special treatment; I don't make obvious attempts to try and adjust to your chimera...ness...stuff. So just chill, calm your tits, bro."

She watched as he smashed the cameras, not really caring, and actually stomping one a final time, as it was one of those tricky wireless ones, and was still operable, if only just so. Ehh, until she smashed it in half, anyways. "Camera-shy, eh? Can't say I blame you, if I looked like you, I'd end up on a killing spree or something, knowing how people judge everybody and crap. SO! Up for a friendly match of arm wrestling?" With another vicious bite of somewhat bloody beef, she dragged over a thrown-out television, and propped her small, but well-toned, arm down on it, cracking her wrist in anticipation. Time to see if this guy was a pansy or not...

Silvac set down some of the steaks upon a patch of cardboard that was conveniently clean and off to the side of all the rest of the garbage. Honestly what was this world coming to if people just left perfectly good cardboard out in the middle... No now he was getting off track again. She asked him a question, in fact she asked him two... why would she deign to speak to a creature such as him was beyond Silvac but he had to humor the woman since she was being somewhat friendly. He glanced quietly at the camera's that had been smashed by his tail, they were completely crushed but the two that he had smashed with his hands were sorta intact... he may have to take care of them later just in case. His attention was diverted to her name for a few moments however so that thought slipped his mind for the time being. It didn't sound familiar in the least bit but it's a distinct possibility that he could of been related to this female by some distant cousin of sorts... Silvac felt his eyes narrow and his ears twitch a little bit as the Female tried to kick his knee cap; he simply took a rather large step back to avoid the kick but he didn't do anything back to the female since it wasn't in his nature anyways... He smoothed out one of his ear tufts the ends snagging against his claws for a second before coming apart from the sharpness they had. His voice cracked to life for a brief moment before lapsing into silence again.

My name... is Silvac skalla...skallagrim

The chimera watched the female as he felt a cough interrupt his last name but he repeated it anyways just in case she didn't hear the full thing. When she said she didn't need any special treatment Silvac blinked, wasn't it his duty to protect women and children? judging by the way this one... seemed to possibly disagree with that. He didn't bother to mention his confusion but it was possibly visible in his eyes that she had Silvac off his footing.. mentally at least. He sat down across from her when she offered to arm wrestle her, he hadn't done something like this... since he was... Silvac glanced to the side and repressed a sudden memory not wishing to bring up bad memories, instead he decided to speak... in a small burst while he put his large hand around validis's and then put his elbow on the Tv. If this was some sort of test he didn't care, this woman was treating Silvac normallyish.... so he would humour her for the time being.

I speak... Lokhyn... and cretan...I'll remember.. not to... Not camera shy... just... protective.

Hrrrrrrrrng... He dodged her kneecapping attack! Nobody ever dodged her kneecapping attack! Well, they sometimes did, but she often just threw them at a table, or threw a table at them. One of the two anyways. But in this case, she deigned to do neither to the man; he was Lokhyn, for one, which meant A) he was a brother of arms, B) he could potentially kick her to the curb and use that time to steal her cash, which was UNACCEPTABLE, and C) they could at least have a nice conversation, unlike the vast majority of people she met, whom were all wimpy little girly-men. And then, of course, there was the fact he'd just given her a free hunk of beef, and perhaps he had MORE free things to offer her!

As his voice sounded again, Valdis listened as he struggled to spit out a mere five words, stating his name. Silvac Skallagrim, eh? Legitimate Lokhyn name; he was likely not a lame little wussy half-Lokhyn, like that communist grandkid of Egil! Grasping his hand firmly, she listened again as he spoke, looking him dead in the eyes, ready to properly put the poor man to shame! So he spoke Lokhyn and Cretan, deigned not again to belittle her by assuming she was vertically challenged, which she was MOST CERTAINLY NOT, as a handicap of any kind is a weakness, and she bore none of those, and he noted he wasn't camera shy, but was instead... Protective? Oooooookaaaaaaaay! That made PERFECT sense. Obviously! Yeeeeeeeeaaaaah, she didn't get it. But she didn't really care. "Coolio. Nice meetin' ya, Silvac. Now, shall we begin? Three... Two..." Her hand tensed slightly in anticipation, and she grinned as she spoke, "One!"

Valdis jerked her arm down, forcing his to follow suit, and she felt she would win as his stoic limb was driven down a few inches, but suddenly, she felt her push growing weaker, slower, until it was reversing. He was actually pushing HER arm backwards! With a warrior's laugh, more of a glorious chuckle, really, she put a bit more power into it, and forced his hand almost halfway down, yet again, he rose up, bearing her arm in his grip. This went on for a good few minutes of a struggle, until finally, he placed her hand down against the TV, victorious. Valdis, then, blinked. She was slightly taken aback, honestly. But after getting over her surprise, she looked up at him, with a face that basically screamed "You really just did that? Really?"

"I must say, I'm a bit surprised, Silvac, hahaha! For a second there, I thought you were one of those wimps that couldn't hold your own in a good arm wrestle! But, of course, I demand a rematch!" And so began a series of arm wrestling matches, until the score ended with Silvac's flawless 10-win streak! Valdis wasn't angry, surprisingly, at losing, but rather, she was a fair bit impressed he could take her on TEN TIMES at arm wrestling and win EVERY TIME, albeit she came pretty close several times. "Ahhhhh, y'know. Ten bouts of beginner's luck! But good matches; first one to beat me in that long a streak, actually. I remember in college, I'd show up at frat boy parties just to crush them all at arm wrestling!~ Then again, they were all little Gelemortian pansies, with their fancy syrups and their free health care and such. Neeeeeeeeeerds." Taking another bite of the meat, she properly chewed and swallowed it, as was the proper thing to do, and looked at Silvac again. "So, whatcha wanna do now?"

Post by Silvac Sun Sep 23, 2012 5:57 pm

Silvac listened to Valdis as she spoke, his nostrils flared a little bit trying to get a bear on her scent but he couldn't exactly figure out what she smelled like. Oh well he'd come to that after this bout of arm wrestling. They did about ten bouts if his count was right; he was pretty sure ten times... He had trouble counting sometimes; he blamed those damned alchemists for his lack of mental process in small aspects and his hard time to speak... even though he didn't like to talk a lot anyways now that he thought about it. He didn't wish to offend Valdis so he avoided the height stuff since she seemed to of had some sort of issue with that; could just be the fact that she was protective of her height like how he was of staying out of the view of those that he figured would attack him. His ears twitched when she used his name; it sounded odd when someone else said it; he hadn't heard someone say his name in almost three years. A brief flash of his mother's face was brought to mind and he looked away with a thoughtful look.

Valdis's face was very expressive from what he could tell as well; he felt his ears droop a little. Was he not supposed to win? should he of lost on purpose perhaps...? no that would of probably not helped anything; he was provably putting too much thought into this stuff. She obviously liked to arm wrestle, he mentally noted that for later... he'd probably run into her again judging from how she was acting; who knows maybe she could help him with his goal somehow? No that was his own burden... His eyes drifted over to the dumpster for a moment before drifting behind valdis. He was surprised that no one had come along yet... probably no one went here for a while... who knew really.

Gele.... Gelem-.....ortian?

Silvac stumbled over the word and felt his voice crack again, he inwardly cursed those alchemists again his hand massaging the chimera's throat. He didn't know what exactly that meant; perhaps he needed to travel more than just remain in London. His eyebrows raised a little bit at the mention of college; she went to a college? That surprised silvac because Valdis didn't seem the collegey type to him... maybe that's why she was all over the place? He couldn't be sure what she meant unless he asked... Silvac leaned forward and sniffed Valdis's head of hair for a moment before speaking in a small thought out sentence.

Co-college? y-you went to college...?

He tilted his head and sniffed her hair again, it smelled of some kind of... shampoo or something he couldn't tell exactly. Without much forethought Silvac's tongue snaked out and licked up the side of Valdis's cheek and through a large chunk of her hair.... before going back down so it could return to his mouth. He processed the scent, it was certainly different, he got several different scents from Valdis that were rather unique. He'd pause for a few moments and then proceeded to do the same to the other side getting the scent firmly into his memory reservoir. Reminded him of carmel... and chocolate... strange really. Something told him that this would let him keep track of Valdis better this way. Musing a bit he'd shrug at her other question and glance behind him at the broken down door. He knew of a few others and if Valdis wanted more things to eat he wouldn't mind getting some stuff from other stores. Hell maybe he could find some crazy stuff that they both might enjoy in some of the larger stores...

I know a few stores... we could hit them up for more stuff....

Valdis nodded as she finished speaking, for Silvac to ask for some clarification on Gelemortians. She was a little surprised at the fact he had no idea who they were; either he was a totally clueless idiot, had never been to the land of his fathers, or was SO PATRIOTIC that he didn't even think of it as Gelemort, but as Lokheim, and believe that the Gelemortians were all just Rouenian idiots. Eh, she'd explain it anyways. "Yep yep, Gelemortians. People from Gelemort, AKA Rouenian-colonized, now-independant, Lokheim, taken over by them exiled Rouenies in like, 1870-1880, or some crap. Pretty much, a bunch of fancy syrup-sipping idiots with a king who I'm oddly okay with, considering the fact he buys four boxes of custom-made pineapple-watermelon pudding a day. Weird combo, but yeah. Expensive too!~" Yep, that should suffice for an explanation of Gelemortians. It was how she saw them anyways; mentally retarded penguin-people.

Next up in the question-everything-Valdis-said game (she had surprising patience with Silvac as he played this nonexistent game, which he did, mostly by questioning everything she said, arbviously). Waiting for him to finish sniffing her hair(!?!?), which likely smelled of chocolate and caramel, per the norm, as she did, in fact, use perfume scented after her pudding, she spoke when he finished. "Yep, went to college all the way back in '96. Full ride, hockey scholarship, the whole grand shabang, took a business major, started my own business on campus, bada-bing, bada-boom, graduated in 2000, and made my first million or so the same year." As she stopped talking, she noticed Silvac lean closer, in some form of curiosity, and without warning, licked her face, up to her hair. Well then... That escalated quickly.

Thinking it through, she figured it was a way of him confirming the odd smell of her shampoo, same brand as the perfume, and she didn't say anything, merely giving off a slight look of confusion briefly, before her face settled into its normal expression. And of course, as she was about to speak, he spoke, and the words were a sweet melody to her ears; they were going on a store rampage-raid!? FUN. "I'm so in. Let's do this thing!~" And with a wild laugh and a grin, she gestured Silvac to lead the way, as she had no clue where stores were that she didn't own.

Gently rubs he back of his head as Valdis explained what exactly a Gelemortian was; apperantly they were a type of people from the land of Gelemort. That name sounded vaguely familiar, it brought up a few images to mind but it didn't spark anything more than that. She went on about something with pudding and blinked, the king bought pudding? What kind of leader bought pudding using fund..... What did it matter to him? He was a chimera for Lokheim's sake.... The chimera huffed a bit and slowly started to pace his mind racing with incomplete thoughts. He didn't know much what to say to half of what she said, something sparked in his mind and he blinked a few times before looking up at valdis his eyes now partially obscured by his eyebrows.

Gelemort.... I remember my parents telling me it wasn't called that... and that it was called Lokheim.... Strange...

The chimera tilted his head as Valdis continued to speak his ears turning forward to continue to listen to what she had to say. She really did have a lot of information about herself and about other places, she was certainly smart! Silvac nodded a few times, He remembered something about how he was supposed to be in college this year for something but what it was completely evaded him. He leaned in again and sniffed her hair once more confirming that it was indeed chocolate smelling. He really did like that smell, it was rather intoxicating to his sense for some reason. He shook his head a bit and thought back to what she said.... Hockey? Another brief flash of memory showed him the sports channel while he was in the library going on about something with the name of that. His father had been a really big.... That didn't matter now anyways so he just put it aside and left matters concerning his parents be.

Silvac was a bit confused by the face that Valdis was making, was he not supposed to of licked her face? He had her scent locked in and that was a good thing he thought. Maybe there was another social Que that he was supposed to of done.... He was putting to much thought into this as Valdis spoke again saying that she was "so in" as it were. Her gesture made silvac feel like walking, he glanced back at the meat that was on the cardboard; it would be bad by the night out judging by how the flies were going after them. A pity really since it was a waste of meat; he gave a bit of a shrug and took two large steps to where Valdis was. Rather than speaking he simply picked her up and sat her on his shoulder. He let out a grunt as he easily jumped up the side of the mart and then up the side of another taller building. Glancing across the street he took notice that there was a car coming anyways and he slowly made his way across the apartment's roof top still carrying Valdis on his shoulder.

A few minutes later they were at another street that held yet another convenient store, this one had a delicious selection of just about everything and he knew that valdis would love to go there for some strange reason. He pointed down there and looked up at the woman. His green eyes were relaxed and his face held that he wasn't too worried about stuff anymore. He had made a friend obviously, he definitely enjoyed valdis's presence over being alone.

This one.
