~We Three Kings, Minus Two, Plus One Queen and a Knight~

Post by Wolfgang Murinyo on Sat Mar 30, 2013 6:04 pm

Airline peanuts. Normally the most despised, wicked, and hated of all airline foods, notorious for their being too salty, not salty enough, poorly cooked, over-cooked, and the dreaded "open-rip-tear-spill" method of opening the package, which ended in angry stewardesses and embarrassment. Oh, and peanuts in someone's coffee on the next row over. They'll destroy you after you disembark the plane, so I hope if you ever make the mistake of opening a bag of airline peanuts, that you brought bullet-proof underwear and knee pads. With great fear and caution, Wolfy prodded his bag of said peanuts with his finger. Flinching away, he poked it again, before breathing an easy sigh, realizing it wouldn't, in fact, eat itself, depriving him of his snack. He decided it was safe to open them, and, in his normal manner, proceeded to place the bag, balled up into a semi-bite-sized wad of plastic and peanuts, and began chewing, mostly just smashing the peanuts, since chewing through plastic was usually a bad idea.

Why was Wolfy eating plasti- erm, peanuts, on a plane you ask? Well! He was hungry, duh!~ More importantly, why was he even ON a plane, to begin with!? Well, the answer was simple; he was making a surprise visit to find one Queen Rachel in Creta, taking alongside him, his trusty sidekick SHORT ROUND! Erm, wait, no, that's not it... Umm... Robin? Hrm. OH YEAH. HIS KNIGHTLY KNIGHT, AMADI!~ Boy, was it a struggle getting her through airport security, yikes. Her suit of armor doesn't even HAVE pockets, where could she have been hiding any metal anyways!? Psh, crazy security guards. Not logically logicful like Wolfgang "Mr. Logicalpants" Murinyo the Logicalest, that's for sure. After that had been sorted out, though, they got first class tickets, conveniently when everyone in first class was demoted to second class tickets, because of some "weight distribution issue" caused by a large armor-clad person. Psh. Wolfy and Amadi were obviously too gangster-cool to care about some weirdo who walked around in armor all day, hahaha!

Soon they arrived at the WOOOOORLD FAMOUS. ALBUQUERQUE HOLIDAY INN. WHERE THE TOWELS WERE OH SO FLUFFY!~ AND YOU COULD EAT RIGHT OUTTA THE ASH TRAYS IF YOU WANNA, IT'S OKAY, THEY'RE CLEA- Oh wait. No, no, they were in London. Not Albuquerque. Eh. Pretty much the same place, right? Which meant the ashtrays were probably still fine to eat out of, which is great, because Wolfy had no where else to place his now-oddly-gray-black cheeseburger. Though it was one of those public ashtray things, outside stores and stuff, which made it difficult to borrow and use as a large plate. So he left his burger (thankfully, for his stomach.) and skipped in the direction of a certain nightclub. Glancing behind him, he looked gleefully at Amadi, with a cheery, "Ammy-immy-umi-omnom-adi!~ Skippers widda me!~" The large knight skipping would certainly be an odd sight for most, but Wolfy didn't look to see if she had done such or not, instead cartwheeling the last few steps towards the entrance.

Stepping in, he was punched in the jaw by loud music, and a bouncer who punched him in the jaw after he accidentally kicked the poor man in the eye socket. Was that how the kids said hello in Creta these days? Huh, weird! "EYYYYYYO, parteh peeps!~ Da king be hyaaaar!~" Nobody really seemed to care about his announcement, and neither did he, because he just started doing the robot, as he moved forward, looking around for Rachel. Moonwalking a few more steps, he ended with the standard Michael Jackson hat-brim-and-nasty-grab OW! thing. He spotted his prey at that moment, and flopped to the ground, doing the worm as he inched closer to her, until he was about ten feet away, at which point, he began the running man. Any second now, he'd run in place RIGHT TO HER!

It was awkward for Amadi. She was a woman wrapped in metal, on a flying metal ship. Airplanes were not designed to hold bodyguards in armor. In fact, the whole set Amadi wore had caused quite a ruckus in the airport. Wolfgang used his amazing ability to wave away any problems with his sometimes incoherent ramblings. Naturally this was not a thought portrayed outwardly to anyone. Amadi left her inward thoughts to be a mystery to anyone. She was just there to protect Wolfgang's body.. no matter the cost. If that meant dying by explosive and violent means, then she was willing to accept that. Anyways... there was an explosion in the airport and people looked astounded when the metal detector was going off. Really, what did they think heavy metal was made of? Most assumed she was just an android-sapien or some sort of robot invented to keep Wolfgang in line. They weren't too far off and honestly it was a little secret that she played along... just to fuck with them.. a little bit. It wasn't right, but it felt right.

Beside her, Wolfgang was poking his peanuts with fear of something... like.. explosion? Just because she worked for him, did not mean she understood his ways. Then, he popped the whole thing in his mouth! Plastic and all! Amadi was ready to do CPR which, she hoped she wouldn't have to, because she might CRUSH HIM. Armor kind of had this thing of being really heavy and not so good at delicate things like CPR. Her panicked expression was masked under a helmet, so thankfully he couldn't see her concern. He was fine.. somehow, but she wasn't as much surprised as she was shocked. The plane landed... and then they 'danced' down to a club. Which was namely Wolfgang skipping and eating cheeseburgers, while a suit of armor followed him.

'Skip with me!' He said. His smile was ear to ear as he hopped foot to foot and to a club. Skip with him? what? She looked at him oddly, but he didn't look back again, which was good because Amadi had no rhythm.. at all. So she looked awkward as she lifted one leg, stumbled forward and then repeated twice, before feeling way too strange to continue. Se didn't like to deny Wolfgang's requests, but there was only so much skipping a knight could do. Anyways, they made it to a club where Wolfgang flew in a window and kicked a bouncer who punched him. Amadi looked ready to slice him open, but she was busy trying to awkwardly crawl in a window while in a suit of armor. What with Wolfgang far ahead of her, there was no way they'd let her into the club otherwise.

The bouncer looked like he shat himself. It was possible, but Amadi did not take time to check. That was essentially, not her problem. In the middle of the dance floor, people were staring at a man who was determinedly running in place, with eyes set on a woman that Amadi did not know, but recognized. She silently walked over towards the woman and stood still, whilst waiting for Wolfgang. Armor was kind of quiet on a noisy club, but the lights looked really pretty as they reflected off of her.

Three measures of 90-proof Cretan gin. One of 100-proof Drachman vodka. A half measure of Rouenian aperitif wine. Shaken until well chilled, drained, lemon peel. Very strong, guaranteed to wake someone up.

Rachel had four of these.

Rachel giggled as her fourth cocktail rushed down her throat. Elastor would certainly have a heart attack, and Dietrich would whine and bitch about it. This consideration failed to sway her enthusiasm. If anything, it motivated her to get even more drunk. For the first time in a while, she was allowed to simply mess around, not worried about the business of the country. No international incidents, no internal political strife. Just Rachel, her club and her drink.

"EYYYYYYO, parteh peeps!~ Da king be hyaaaar!~"

Lights danced around her as the clubbers stopped moving, looking to the source of the disturbance. Rachel did not, still drinking her cocktail. She wasn't one to be interrupted, particularly not with her favourite drink, finally, she placed the empty glass down, nodding to the barman and giving him a signal to make three more. As she turned, she saw the monarch of the Ceil Dominion running in place, completely oblivious to the confused gazes that he had earned, and a woman in a suit of armour shimmering like water in the moon's embrace, light beaming off her. Rachel's face was completely unreadable. Nobody knew what she was thinking.

Her lips curled into a smirk.

"No, Murinyo. No dancing until both you and your knight in shining armour are drunk." She said, before pulling two of the cocktails that had been poured, forcing them into the hands of Wolfgang and the knight, briefly explaining the contents as she did. Then she grabbed her own, raising her glass. "A toast! To..." She was interrupted as she burped very loudly. "- oop, pardon me. Errr, whatever, just fucking drink already!" She threw her neck back and downed the drink in one go, rolling back onto her heels a little as she did. The other clubbers decided to dance on, no longer deterred by Wolfgang; now he was drinking, he was one of them, and thus the night could continue. Rachel quickly finished her drink, and when she had she looked to the knight, peering right at the visor, trying to see the face behind.

"Wolfgang, mind if I ask how you travelled in time and picked up Joan of Arc?" She joked, a smirk on her face; she wasn't a historian by much of a stretch, but she had looked into feminist icons throughout history, and hoped that the king of the Ciel Dominion might know enough of the history of Rouen to get the reference to the so-called Maid of Orleans.

AND RUN. IN PLACE. AND RUN! IN PLACE! CRIIIIIIIIISS-CROOOOOSS! RUN. IN PLACE. SPIN AND RUN IN PLACE, AND SPIN! AND SPIIIIIIIIIIN!~ AND TRIP! Aaaaaaand he tripped, conveniently landing on a seat, while conveniently grasping the drink shoved into his hand. Most royal folk with any sense would at least sniff it first to check for poison, but NOT HE. He grinned as Rachel told him to desist from the dancing until he was well and properly blown out of his brains on booze. He could go with that, totally! As she called for a toast, he had to grin, raising his glass in toast, before she promptly burped, much to his cackling laughter, because burps are amusing, and excused herself, before ending the toast saying for them to drink. AND DRINK HE DID! He quickly turned up his glass, before balancing it on his shoulder as he turned to Rachel and her question.

Joan of Arc? PREPOSTEROUS. THAT WAS TO ASSUME THAT GELEMORT WAS ROUEN. GELEMORT WASN'T ROUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEN. NOWAI, BRO. Then it occured to him she was just referring to Amadi, and his rather bewildered stare turned into a slow nod of understanding. "Nah, we dingot no fancies time skippin' nothins, naaaaaaaah, doh, Joan D'arc's a coolio knightladygirl, 'n'danke fer compleementin' 'Madi, she's toats like Joany, methinks, eh, ahaha!~ Much better'n Die-Die's stick-butted Lancylot, methinks, ay?" And indeed, Amadi did have many knightly traits of Joan of Arc. Namely in that she was rather skilled at what she did, and was very loyal and all that whatforth. Though a better comparison may have been Hua Mulan, the Xingese girl who dressed like a man to fight for her country and such.

"Oyah, but'm, SO, HOW'SIT GOIN'?~ Creta, dat's. An' whatabootcher brand schpankin' new shineh crown'n all da stuff'n'stuff youse be what doin' 'n gat, hrm?"
