      DESCRIPTION:
       → Rhea isn’t much of the girly type, and doesn’t care too much about her appearance. More often than not, Rhea is seen sporting jeans and a shirt (whether it be a plain t-shirt or a cute girly thing). Her bright red hair, courtesy of her Creig roots, is often left down. The red locks are straight and soft and hang down to her shoulders. Sometimes she’ll pull her hair up into a ponytail, but she prefers to just leave it loose. Her skin is rather pale; she tries to tan but the sun seems to hate her and leaves her with painful bright red skin. Her eyes are deep blue and do nothing to hide Rhea’s emotions. She’s sort of on the short side, and her hands are somewhat frail looking. She walks quickly, though her stride is short due to her height, and puts most of her weight on her toes. Her voice is soft and holds a light Cretan accent. Of course, if she gets excited she’ll unknowingly get louder and start talking much quicker and may even insert words from other languages into her speech by accident.  


       PERSONALITY:
       → It’s rather easy to assume that Rhea is devilish. Yeah, she does appear to be somewhat strange at time. This can make her appear rather rude, which she probably is. It’s not that she really means to be though; she’s just easily excitable and sometimes lets this get the better of her. Little things in life amuse her to no end while other things can infuriate her easily. Other than various moments where she appears to be irritated, Rhea is a bubbly person. She loves to have fun and is sometimes regarded as the life of the party. Her excited demeanor can make her appear rather dimwitted, but in actuality Rhea is intelligent; though she doesn’t really pride herself on it. She isn’t really one to brag about anything and will rarely acknowledge her good qualities unless she’s being jokingly arrogant. She could be serious if she wanted, but that’s just plain boring! It’s a lot more fun to live life to the fullest, as cliché as that sounds. So what if it makes you appear unintelligent? Rhea and her friends both know that she’s academically gifted, but they still get a kick out of her slipups and comedic acts.

Despite her strange attitude and whatnot, Rhea often thinks too hard about things. Because of this, she sometimes gets confused and ends up believing things that aren’t really true. If her friend says something ambiguous, Rhea will assume the worst of the matter and get upset under the assumption that something bad is going to happen or someone is mad at her – something along those lines. She has a complicated way of thinking when it comes to things like that. Other than that way of thinking, Rhea is rather intelligent and knows a lot of random bits of information that other people might not even care about. She adores turtles, though ironically she knows hardly anything about them. This is because most of her knowledge is the pointless crap she learned in school and thought she’d never have to apply anywhere else. She just recently began to further her education in marine life, to gain more information on her favorite types of animals though.

Although seemingly very happy and carefree, Rhea can be very serious. Around strangers, elders, or people of higher ranking than herself, she’ll sometimes appear shy or collected. This is only because she hasn’t grown to know the people yet. Once she does get to know someone, she acts herself around them and will try to make their day better. She does this because a part of her lives on human contact and communication.

       LOVE:
       → Turtles, friends, doodling, swimming, the ocean, fluffy things, fancy things, shiny stuff, sunsets, summer months, coffee (only with milk/chocolate/sugar)

       HATE:
       → Dogs, winter, being cold, stupidity, mornings, black coffee, getting sunburned, loud noises  

       



       HISTORY:
       → There’s the saying “like father like son”. Then there’s “like mother like daughter”. Rhea never really knew her mother. The woman had apparently died in childbirth. Rhea has pictures and mementos of her mother that were given to her by her aunt (her mother’s sister) but sadly enough, Rhea cannot truly mourn for the mother she never knew. All that she really knew of her mother was that the woman was from Limerick and that this was where Rhea herself was born.


For the first couple of years of her life, Rhea was cared for by her aunt and uncle in Creta. It was here that Rhea learned her first language, Cretan. Around 5 years of age, Rhea’s aunt and uncle began to teach her the language that her mother once spoke. Creig wasn’t too hard to learn, but Rhea still has a little trouble with a few words due to the lack of practicing. For a kindergartner to be having to learn two languages at once, Rhea became frustrated and would often throw tantrums and refuse to speak anything in Creig. This retaliation didn’t exactly work in her favor for very long when her uncle required that she ask for toys, food, and other various things in Creig. She hated it, and was too young to understand at the time just why she was being made to learn another language. At such a young age, she would often go to school and use phrases in the wrong language, causing her to go through a phase where she refused to speak at all and would keep mainly to herself.


When she turned 8, her aunt explained to her where her parents were. It was strange, to learn this. She had grown up believing that the woman caring for her was her mother, and that her uncle was her father. Okay, so her mother was dead. But her father, where was he at? He was still alive, right? No one had told her about him at all, though they had already lied to her about her mother. After inquiring, Rhea was informed that her father was, in fact, still alive somewhere in Gelemorté. However, he had not taken custody of Rhea because he was enlisted in the military at the time and could not care for a newborn. Oh, and throw in the fact that he and Rhea’s mother were separated at the time. What a family. Full of secrets. Still, Rhea would not be too disturbed. At that age she was more curious than anything else. She just wanted to meet her father.


After becoming quite fluent in Creig, Rhea took to learning the Gelemortian dialect of Rouenian. She was determined, at that point, to meet her father. So what if he hadn’t been in her life? So what if he and her mom been separated? Maybe they were never even together in the first place. It made no difference to Rhea, she was determined to meet him regardless. At 18, Rhea left her home in Creta. Her aunt and uncle were somewhat reluctant to see her go and tried to convince her to stay, but when the time came they wished her luck on her journey across the sea. Once she arrived in the new land, Rhea honestly had no idea what to do. How had she really expected to find a man, one she didn’t know the looks of, in a mass of millions? Yes, this was sure to be easy. Rhea wasn’t discouraged though. She enlisted in the military in a further effort to search for this mystery man. To this day she still does not know of his whereabouts, or even his name. For the past year, she’s mainly been exploring the country. Her search hasn’t “halted” it’s just been sort of put on the back burner.
