BRIEFING:
→ The circle used for this alchemy began as a basic transmutation array and evolved to become a freezing array, and thereafter a freezing array modified to include blood manipulation. It's main function is the manipulation of blood, and it is mainly an offensive technique. As a result, it has no real defense against any other elements, but it can be used to counter other users of blood-related alchemy. The most prominent drawback is that the user must maintain physical contact to use the technique. In order to use said technique, the user must have an extensive knowledge of blood and it's chemical composition, as well as it's physical properties (i.e. boiling and freezing points, and any other factors that manipulate the blood's physical state and function) in order to make full use of this kind of alchemy.

→ The transmutation circle used for this technique has been stitched into a pair of black, fingerless gloves that reach almost to the wearer's elbow, and the circle itself on each of the gloves is stitched with red thread. Originally they were to be stitched in black thread to help camouflage their alchemic use, but Alex was afraid they might get confused with someone else's gloves if the arrays weren't noticeable enough.


SPECIAL ABILITIES:
→ Alexander’s infatuation (so to speak) with blood in the years before his “accident” contributed to his exploration of alchemy, with blood as his central element. When he comes into contact with any one person, he is able to freeze their blood, stopping the victim’s blood circulation completely. This, of course, would be fatal, but it requires that he physically touch someone with the proper equipment. If he were to lose contact with the person before their body cools down significantly, the blood would have a chance to thaw (but the rate at which the blood thaws would depend on the body temperature of the victim). This is a simple ability, but a powerful one.
