      DESCRIPTION:
       → Nyx is a chimera, and therefore, has a crapload of unusual features. To start the list, she has a set of large eagle wings sprouting from her shoulders. The wings however, are not large or strong enough to support her weight, and are rendered as nothing more than aesthetic. She also has bright blue-green hair and eyes. Nyx tends to wear a white dress, and occasionally a black gown with golden sequins twinkling on it like stars. She isn't very tall, but for her age, it seems normal enough. She is very lithe and thin, which means she can't do very well if attacked at close range. In combat, however, she can unleash sheer horror with a bow and arrow. She is also very agile and fast, to make up for physical strength. Nyx also has a light, cheerful voice, the exact epitome of a small and innocent little girl. She has a very unique walk as well, as she always skips when she walks, and every hop sends her a few inches into the air. She is almost never seen without a smile, but when she's sad, she pouts a lot.

       PERSONALITY:
       → Nyx has a very cheerful personality, and can almost always assure you that she is immature and childish. She was just born happy, she would tell you. It probably just comes from her general optimism about everything, which is probably really, just a trait she was born with. Another feature of her personality is her stubborn determination to finish things. If Nyx starts something, she will go through with it until it is finished, or until she can't physically finish it anymore. This comes from her desires to prove herself to others, and mainly to herself, that she is just as good as anyone else, and that for her small size and age, she can be a reliable asset to those she cares for. She is also fiercely loyal to her friends and allies, particularly the Fuhrers, whom she treats as her family. If she sees any harm come to her friends, whether or not they have the situation handled, she will attack the person who does the harming with ferocity completely not expected from her. This comes from having few people she actually bonds with and that accepts her.

Her love of nightlife is also a very interesting trait, with an interesting story behind it. Nyx was as her history will state, captured by Amestrian alchemists for secret and illegal chimera research. While under their hold, she was tested and experimented on in the daytime, and allowed peace and rest at night. As the days went on, she began to dread sunrise, and pray for sunset to come quickly. It was also at nighttime that she managed to escape their labs. Therefore, she instinctively began to trust the night more than the day, and is happiest around midnight. It also partially explains her optimism, as she knew while held as a test subject that she always had her nights to look forward to.

Recently, Nyx has also shown several other traits, which show a little bit of maturity in her. Most prominent is something not quite regret, but rather a pity for Kallie Stuka, seeing as Nyx believes she brought upon her own death through foolish actions. Another thing is a sort of wisdom beyond her years which she displayed rather well when speaking with Daemon in Drachma, when she told him that he had to express his emotions and not hide them or bottle them up.

Even more recently, Nyx has changed ages and- DADADA~ Hit puberty. Which means EMOTIONS AND FEELS. The most important of which, at the moment, are that she gets angrier a bit more easily, and can be kind of irritable sometimes, though not on most days. MORE IMPORTANTLY, however, is that, with puberty, she has those little girl feels, and is totally not crushing super-hard on a certain Pirate Captain, who may or may not probably be crushing back on her. Because d'aaaaaaaaw.

       HISTORY:
       → Born Nylia Havoc, Nyx was raised for her first two years by her parents in West City. By her third birthday, her parents decided they didn't want a kid, so they sent her away, giving her only one reminder of them, a bracelet of gold, with a clock's face made onto it, with the date it was made, January 3rd, 1900, engraved on it. Nyx was then given to an orphanage. She grew up for another 3 years there, where she came to love her home there. This may be the best explanation for her eternal happiness. She enjoyed a peaceful and good life there until she was 7, when she was adopted by a man named Charles Gregory. But her adoption was also the beginning of suffering for her, as Charles Gregory began to become the name that would later cause her great emotional pain, and a fear of alchemy, and by relationship, State Alchemists and the Amestrian Military. Because Charles Gregory was the man that made her into what she currently is.

For 3 years of her life, experiments were run on her by the man who adopted her and several other alchemists. Most of those three years, she was caged up and locked away until they needed her for tests. Immediately upon being captured for the testing, she was taken into a room by Gregory, alongside a magnificent bird; an albino bald eagle. It is incredibly rare, but his funding and subjects from the Erzangel had succeeded in finding the specimen. It was a mark of celebration as they performed their most successful test at that point; they transmuted Nyx and the eagle into one being. The stress and pain of this was mainly what truly instilled her fear of the researchers, her captors, into her very soul. But once she'd gotten over the fear of them, and became accustomed to the tests, she began to rebel. But rebellion was futile and she was beaten when she tried to disobey. Eventually, she was just grudgingly doing their tests, and despising them. But then she thought of an escape plan and by the age of 10 it was perfected. She spent every day of her 9th year slowly weakening the metal bars of her one cell window. After a whole year of loosening it and rusting it with water and whatever else she could acquire, she managed to knock some of the bars free and ran out into the open world for the first time in 3 years, after making a risky recovery of her mother's bracelet.

For her latest 3 year period, she has lived pretty contently as a chimera. She was well hidden by robes when she went into public in daylight, and at night, she shed her robes and ran around freely in her usual white dress, made specifically so her wings could show through it. Soon after her escape from her captors, she joined RIOTE so that she could have her revenge and in the hopes that once their goals were made realized, she could possibly stop other human chimeras from being created and put through the same torture she was forced through. This is where she currently is, and where she took on the alias of Nyx.

Recently, Nyx met a rather disturbing pedophile in West City, who died at the hands of Nikolaus Stuka, for the ultimate crime of seatbeltlessness.  Nyx was thus rescued by him and taken for an enjoyable ice cream treat. Later on, Nyx stumbled by a crime scene from where Ace, as Nanaya, had killed someone. She tried to cheer him up a bit, with the help of Jeu-Hee, whom she also met there. After this, she went on to go enjoy herself in Drachma, with some archery practice, when a crowd gathered to watch and she decided to perform for them. Daemon cleared the tension when she spoke Amestrian to thank her audience, which confused them. After this, Nyx and Daemon talked for a bit, and Nyx made an attempt to bring emotions into his soul, which failed utterly at first. In fact, the result was cutting open his old scars, and convincing him, unintentionally, that his whole life was a lie. After she talked him out of those thoughts, the two were inevitably bonded for life. Sometime later Nyx met Kidato Coral, and ended up helping Hild recruit him into RIOTE. Lastly, during the taking of the Kremlin, and killing of Czar Loki, Nyx was given orders to defend the Kremlin from Amestris, which she did with skill, until Cora injured her arm, and the Kremlin fell. After this, she was spared her life in return for the rescue of an Amestrian soldier from the falling debris. She then took up a treetop perch until she spotted Daemon. After meeting up with Daemon, Nyx sometime later would go to RIOTE HQ where she would eat a philosopher's stone, and becopme a Bearer, as Aurel's reward for her work.

Since becoming a Bearer, Nyx hasn't really done too much. She went with a handful of RIOTE's ranked, as well as a Mr. Hei-Hei to Aerugo in order to eat food, and attempted to tell Aurel of her concerns while she was there. Having seen Hild get slapped by Aurel in the prior events involving the mission, Nyx had been confused beyond the breaking point for a bit, and wishes to clear things up in her mind. On a different note, Nyx hosted a Christmas party with hopeful-friends Balthazar the Terrible and Ogi the Awesome. Based on their titles, the party went rather poorly. As it turned out, Balty had an achin' in his heart and arson on his mind, so he took the liberty of burning Nyx's playhouse down. This quickly developed into Nyx and Ogi taking on Balty, who was labelled by Nyx as Hulk-man. Sometime either after or before this, Nyx was in Creta, where she met Takatori with SMILES and LOVE and RAINBOW UNICORN BUTTERFLIES. And received crude politeness, which was a nicer cover for the intense aggression under the MiW leader's skin. Most recently Nyx has been spotted in Drachma, where she LIVES, hanging out around the ruins of the Kremlin yet again. During this time, Nyx met Zinaida, also called BERSERKER, and the two became adorable friends. Aaaaand das everything up to this point in time.

Well then. A lot has happened since we last left off. A whole lot. First off, Nyx met a little girl named Paige, about her age, in Creta, but that's boring, so nobody cares. Next, however, she met Spotlight in Drachma, and a lot of crazy ensued, landing the semi-suicidal man in a hospital, in which Nyx SPECIFICALLY ordered he be treated as if he were a man in RIOTE uniform, despite his Amestrian clothes, yet the doctor still went on, attempting to poison him, so Nyx well... She set him on fire, put him out, and left him with an arrow through his stomach, before torching the hospital, and trying to find the escaped Amestrian, who was met with a lynch mob, which Nyx ALSO dealt with, rather harshly chastising them with a, "Do you KNOW who I AM?" speech, and a rather swiftly dealt with troublemaker in the crowd. Next up is some dramatical type stuff, as Nyx and Daemon have to place bombs in Creta, which fails HORRIBLY when Aurel is shot at, and Nyx rushes to his aid, briefly dueling a Cretan militant, before leaving with the rest of RIOTE, for Amestris. Upon arrival in Amestris, Aurel left her in a daze, and rather dejected, as she believed he wasn't well, because eh... He kinda wasn't. She was assaulted by Rebecca, however, as she went to follow him, leading into a heated battle of archery, Rebecca wielding dual hand-crossbows and a motorcycle, whilst Nyx operated with her short bow and incredible agility and acrobatics, because skills. Not long after, she headed to Central just in time to see Aurel commit suicide, nearly shattering her entire psyche, until he appeared BEHIND HER, which left her less disturbed, terrified, or mind-screwed than it should have, and they went to a cafe for a talk, in which she learned quite a bit more about Aurel and herself. At some point, she also met YET ANOTHER AMESTRIAN, Dawsic, who was apparently posing as a State Alchemist, and whom very nearly got into a fight with some soldiers of RIOTE, whom she had to go all Lady Nyx on, and give them all wrist-slaps, because she can. Nyx is secretly half-honeybadger, you see. True story. Well, anyways, later on, Vanity called Nyx for a talk, and well... Obvious conclusion is obvious; they talked. Nyx then got a Sal plushie and art supplies for Christmas (yay!) and was seen recently with Nevski and a lady named Pierce, in a cafe. She also attended the coronation of Queen Rachel, but nobody cared, so SALYX. YES. SALYX HAPPENED. In that she met a lad called Sal in North City, and they went to a park to enjoy doughnuts and chocolate mirlk. And to cuddle, as cuddling is adorable, and she totally made up an excuse of being cold. Haha~ ("WE SHIP SALYX". <3 YES. SLOGAN.)

As our latest update to the wonderful saga that is Nyx, our heroine was last seen on a wonderful-funderful date with her much beloved boyfriend, one whom goes by the name, Sal. Sometime after, she convinced Aurel to take her to the Central City Festival, where he just so happened to be fortunate enough to meet Sal. AMUSING, YES? And then of course, Aurel got a giant teddy bear and oh yeah, the Queen of Creta tackled him off the carousel and raped his face with her face. Y'know, normal stuff. Over all, it was a rather nice trip, a break from the norm, and such. But then, they returned home, where Aurel revealed several great truths to his daughters and to Kit, a rather valued friend (and Nyx's pet kitty cat). With a bit more insight into her past, Nyx went on to do other stuff, including meeting the newest addition of RIOTE, Murazar.

And of course, as with all thing, after that, the rest went downhill. As things are wont to do, of course, fate being a fickle creature of whimsy. Time passed, and then suddenly, disease ravaged the lands, taking her sister and very nearly her father, but for the animal DNA within him. Through this, she did all she could to remain strong for those around her; with such weight on her shoulders, she found soon that she needed some help, and soon called for such from one Emmelin, a doctor in Moscow. Perhaps she could fix Aurel, where Nyx couldn't do so?


     TRIVIA:
→ xD I made Nyx completely upon a whim, because Nyx was the awesomest RIOTE Codename; Also, take the points from Sec/Ini. xD Jay needs hers! Also, as stated, Nyx has wings, but she can't fly, so they are kind of like a tail or something: There, but you can't do anything with it.
→ The man that turned Nyx into a chimera, Charles Gregory, is a member of Projekt Erzengel, a project devoted to making human-bird chimerae. Arguably, Gregory was the most successful member of the project, with Nyx his prized specimen, until she escaped.
→Nyx has, of recent, become more interested in the arts, taking up painting and the violin. She's quite good at both, and will perform if you ask nicely.
→ It is to be noted that RIOTE has a chauffeur named Yosef, who may or may not be one of those video game NPCs that just refuses to die, no matter how hard you hit them. Of course, like those NPCs, he does nothing but drive limos. Including breathing. It's very unsettling.

           →CHIMERIC ABILITIES;
           → Enhanced Agility and balance; Nyx has shown the ability to roughly glide on her wings fifty feet from a treetop and land without injury, as well as the ability to quickly scale climbable objects, dodge certain foreseen attacks, and stand perfectly still on thin tree branches.
           → When using her wings for a bit of a push to make herself a bit more turbulent and streamlined, Nyx can max at around 23 miles per hour. Not a speeding bullet, but nonetheless; she's on par with Usain Bolt.
           → Incredible eyesight; Nyx can see clearly for 200 yards, and due to her eagle DNA, can see five primary colors rather than three. To describe this would break your mind, as it did mine. (o.o) Sadly, Nyx's vision is rather sensitive to bright light (LIKE CAMERAMEN. D<). In addition, she has the fovae of an eagle; the parts of your eyesight that allow peripheral vision? Well, much like an eagle can, Nyx can see perfectly fine forwards, and to the side, as if she were looking directly beside her, rather than just rolling her eyes sideways slightly, like most humans.
           → Enhanced hearing; As well as sight, eagles tend to have good hearing, and this is passed on to Nyx also. She can quite easily hear things whispered from ten to twenty feet away, for a rough estimate of how well she can hear.

ALCHEMIC/ALKAHESTRIC ABILITY:

As a Bearer, Nyx has the Hoenheim-like ability to perform any alchemy that she would mentally be able to understand. Her specialty is that she can alchemically detonate the phosphorus she coats her arrowheads with, which produces a strong, water-resistant flame, and further increases the impact of her arrows, by bursting into a large, quick-spreading flame that ignites on impact. ignite the oxygen around her body, whilst holding a layer of nitrogen above herself, so that the flames produced didn't harm her. She can maintain this ability until she has to inhale, as the flame shield kind of makes breathing impossible for its duration. She utilizes this defense, however, for protection, when most needed, as the flames can reach a maximum temperature of 3,200 degrees Fahrenheit- the boiling temperature of lead- which allows her to essentially be bullet-proof for a short period, although at full temperature, the duration is cut in half, and there's a good possibility of at least 2nd degree burns, despite the protective nitrogen layer. Unfortunately for her, she uses her own life energy to perform alchemy. Nyx does not need a transmutation circle to use alchemy.

Remember to note that using arrows beyond the range to trigger the fire is rather a taxing thing by the life force is all. Otherwise, you're all good. AND you should have aged by now, but I suppose June 21st hasn't been reached yet as a justifiable explanation.
