After the ball, we perfect our act

Well it turned out that the ball went rather well, perfect. Jericho escorted N- .....Veronika to the limo. His arm curled in hers, they were holding hands. All a part of the perfect act he putting on, to others it would seem like they were a legitimate couple. He escorted her up to the door released their clasped hands and stepped and opened the door. Being chivalrous, at least to anyone near by. He guided her inside the car and then closed the door behind her and walked to the other side of it. Opening the door he swiftly swung inside and slammed the door. "Alright driver were off!" and with that they were on their marry way once again. Ahhh, their ploy was perfect , he believed they really bought it. He looked over at Veronika. "Well my beautiful partner in crime, what do you think? I said I would get you in and I did," he said rather smugly, proud of their work. He was absolutely sure their act was completely fool proof. She played along rather well in his opinion. At least it would seem that he could count on her. Unlike others he had worked with before, he detested failure, at least that wouldn't be the case here. The dancing, the kiss, his compliments, all an act to play off their relationship.

Though.....some of it may have been true. She did look rather stunning tonight. "I still don't understand why you wanted to hide yourself from people. Don't you know, one is more perfect as themselves not some made up person? Oh well, at least it seemed it went rather well anyway. Don't you think?" He said rather cheerfully. He was always happy when a plan came to together......perfectly.
