DESCRIPTION:
→ Axel is rather tall and is at an average weight for his height. He had slight muscle definition but nothing truly fabulous. His skin is tan no matter what he does, it is always the same color. And he has these darker toned patches on his back that can only be described as 'spots'. His hair is a sandy blonde and is generally shaggy and messy but never does in front of his eyes. His eyes are blue and the white part is a whitish yellow. He has two long yet blunt hyena-like canine teeth on the top that are pretty much always coming out of his mouth when it is closed. His tongue is slightly more flat and animal like but not completely, still holding a slight human roundness. His ears are founded spotted hyena ears and the fur is a mix of tans and light browns. Other rather noteworthy features that are animal-like arms the fact his arms are covered in fur of the same tan and light brown with a lighter tan underneath, his hands including dark brown pads such as on paws with rather feral clawed nails. Both arm furs end around his shoulder blade. His legs are similar to his arms but jointed much like an animal's (think anthro character) and are the same colors including claws and pads. Then he has a hyena like tail that reaches about 5 inches short of the ground and it thin and the same color as his hair. Also, up his spine are metal plates shaped like the vertebrae the the top part sticks out from his skin. It is a mechanism that increases certain physical strengths but limits his flexibility.

Mannerisms and things caused by things he does include the lack of sleep shown around his eyes almost constantly. His expression always seems to be content or in a goofy smile. Unless of course he has reason to show otherwise or it in his 'Rage mode' which keeps the expression of a rather insane grin. The way he walks is rather comfortable, though he is always hunched over slightly. His voice is rather soft and husky and spoken with a slight Amestrian accent. And he is able to make hyena noises due to a sort of second sound box. And his laugh usually tends to be half human and half hyena. Making it a bit creepy.

His wardrobe solely depends on how lazy he is that day, some days he feels up to the task of putting on a nice button up shirt (usually white or gray) and a nice pair of slacks (no shoes because they don't usually come in paw size). Other days he is wearing a sleeveless white zip up hoodie with baggy black pants and similar things. He also likes to wear hats. All sorts of hats, really. Trucker hats mostly but also likes tophats, fedoras, and the like.

His motor skills are rather fine, and his gaming skills incredible, but sometimes he has some troubles keeping everything down. it sometimes causes him to twitch, stumble, and drool when he is yelling out of anger. Though this mostly just occurs when he loses control and the defensive and violent animal part of him seems to take over. His theory is because the animal part of him and the normal part of him were built to move and function two different ways to at points they try to overlap and it causes random bouts of awkward movement.


PERSONALITY:
→When Alone: Axel is just downright lazy. All time spent alone is spent just laying around reading or doing absolutely nothing. This is also a habit that got him addicted to video games. As he needed another non-physical challenge to entertain him as he read most of what he can get his hands on. When alone he also tends to eat. A LOT. He becomes a smug person who talks to himself nonstop just to keep himself company. He does not particularly have more fun alone but he makes it fun anyways so he doesn't mind being alone as much. Sometimes he does get a little depressed when alone for too long but it is nothing too major, just makes him even more ecstatic when he is with others again. He is a hyena, after all, thus he is a driven socialite.

→ Towards Strangers: Axel has a respect for his fellow beings, and he is unable to really judge people at first so he is polite with new people though slightly nervous as he is not too fond of rejection. But he takes it rather cheerfully and tends to fill most conversations with witty humor that sometimes only make sense to him. He makes sure to stay within that person's language barriers and rarely strays into languages that are foreign to them but it is mostly by accident. He may not particularly like you but he is cheerful about it. Though it's not that he really dislikes strangers. He either groups them in with 'future likes' or he just keeps them strangers. It's not that he dislikes those people, he just nothings them as their personalty usually clashes with his own in an unpleasant way. Unless you just rubbed him the wrong way. Then you may be grouped down into dislikes.

→ Towards those he loves: You have done it, you have stolen his heart. Axel is bisexual so either way he is fine. Axel is very polite now and will do almost everything it takes to make you happy. He is a very affectionate and cuddly hyena now and never hesitates to snuggle up to you. He is extremely territorial over those he loves though, and gets a little irrational sometimes when he smells other people on you and such but he always calms down and knows well enough to say his is sorry and mean it. And when you are in a bad mood he will do anything to raise you up. But sometimes he can get a little pouty when he doesn't get his way. He is very monogamous so one thing you will never have to worry about is him cheating on you. You have his undying love and attention and every fiber of his being is loyal to you.

→ Towards those he likes: It is not so hard to get into this group as he is very accepting of people and their personalities, taking in people from gentle harmless innocents to totally homicidal psychos. Now you are considered a friend. He is more playful towards his friends and playfully teases them a lot more frequently. He is nice and more willing to help people out when he likes them. He generally likes to surround himself with friends and when you are his friend he trusts you and mostly respects you though sometimes he may say things that would make some think differently but he is just teasing. He is very protective towards those at this stage or past and would give his life defending them if it came down to it.

→ Towards those he dislikes: There are not many people who dislike him but he is bound to dislike some people as that is nature. Some people just rub him the wrong way. These people he tends to just avoid. He still deals with them in a cheerful and polite manner when he can not avoid them, as he never intends on making enemies with these people. He just doesn't want to deal with them. When he dislikes you he will use his intelligence a little bit more to make him seem like unpleasant company. He isn't afraid to break language barriers at this point and will go off in languages unknown to the people he dislikes. But it is moreso just to confuse them and push them away. He is rarely speaking in negativity.

→ Towards those he hates: Now you must have really messed up. It is VERY hard to get on his hated list, but it can be done. These people he is very blunt towards and will do out of his way to insult and put them down. He is very guarded physically around these people as if ready for a fight. He will not hesitate to make that other person regret whatever they did to deserve his hate. And he does all this with a smug grin. All politeness is gone and he only speaks in the language of the offender to just make them feel like dirt. And will rant badly about them in other languages. Tis not a very pleasant place to be. You best be sayin' you are sorry because if this goes on and you fight it, there my just be confrontation.

→ Towards a threat: When threatened or extremely angry Axel loses more and more of his humanity and becomes a snarling beast. This is where he only speaks one language (Esparian) and uses a second voice box more than his usual one. And the second one is moreso that of the hyena in him. He is sadistic and loses his ability to distinguish friend and foe and will attack anybody who gets too close after he enters this animalistic rage. Also he tends to be on all fours a lot in this stage and his eyes have a bit of a glow to them. He is just a vicious monster when in this rage.

LOVE:
→ Video game: All kinds, usually played upside down on his couch.
→ Books: Anything that is worth reading, no matter what genre.
→ Learning: He loves learning. No matter what is is about, really.
→ Laying around: He is a very avid loaf.
→ Food: He loves to eat pretty much anything. He is a scavenger by nature.
→ Music: He loves a lot of music but particularly enjoys Muse.
→ Science: Science is something he can talk about for hours, particularly animal
sciences.

→ Rain: He loves the soothing feel and sound of rain
HATE:
→ Moving too much: Very lazy, as I said.
→ Pointless death: Axel values life and does not agree with killing without reason
→ His sense of smell: Axel wouldn't mind it if it was selective but he can smell anything within his range of smell and it may smell good but in the end just be garbage.
→ His rather short attention span when it comes to food: Whenever he smells something that grabs his interest it is hard to concentrate on much else.
→ Waking up after losing control to find out he ate somebody: He is a rather peaceful guy, it is hard to live with this.
→ Sleep: Axel hates sleep, he finds it to be a waste of time which is odd because is so lazy. But doesn't sleep often just because he doesn't like the idea of it.

DEEPEST SECRET:
→ He has a huge fear of losing control as it happens sometimes at random and he hates the idea of being a monster.

IDOL:
→ Ronnie Gerard- Because when he knew her when he was younger she taught him how to come out of his shell and just be him. She showed him what it was like to be human again, even though he wasn't anymore.



HISTORY:
→ 1-9: Axel for some unknown reason remembers nothing from his lift before he was a chimera. There are little things he remembers as fleeting images but they are enough to keep his outlook on life rather pleasant yet confused. He remembers he had two parents as everybody else did. Two normal parents, who were actually well off financially. He had a brother, though he only remembers that he was older and they argued a lot but nothing too major, just classic brother drama. He remembered looking in the mirror and being normal.

→ 10-15: Axel just remembers waking up one day and suddenly everything was different. He lived in the slums and dressed the part. He had these people he didn't know who claimed they were his parents and he was no longer normal. Then ten year old couldn't understand what happened. But how he was told by his 'parents' was that he had been under some kind of illusion most of his life and was made to believe that it was all just made up before. Atleast, what he did remember of before. They claimed it was a tool being used to escape reality, wanting to live a new life instead of the one he was. These parent's did look like him now, both having chimeric appearances. Axel came to the conclusion at this age to try and accept the information that they gave him. So they continued raising him from there in poverty, and he did love them after some time but still felt that they were not his parents. But he just came to accept all of this as reality and the rest an illusion. What choice did he have? So he just lived like this.

→ 16-20: When he was sixteen Axel had been wandering the area near his home when he stumbled upon this girl. She was weak and looked rather beat and Axel, who was very withdrawn and to himself at this age, couldn't help but make she she was okay. She quickly rose to her feet and claimed she was fine and nothing was wrong. He knew she was lying but for some reason, something about her smug grin made him feel like she really was okay. So he just walked away. But what he didn't know about this girl is you never walk away from her. She was Ronnie Gerard. After she yelled at him about being rude or something or other, Axel usually blocks out Ronnie's yelling, even when he barely knew her. But it somehow ended up in her dragging him around town searching for her friend Ronald. Mainly because she had an issue reading a map and they had an agreed meeting place. He helped her find it and she was pleased to find her friend again. Something about their friendship struck him and made him jealous. he had never had a friend. Then he did something he found to be illogical. He asked; no, he begged to go with them. Ronnie was hesitant but Ronald just chuckled and agreed to let him come with them. With them Axel got into a lot of trouble, usually because of Ronnie's need to be violent in almost every situation. Though he didn't agree in pointless killing, she always argued with him that they weren't pointless. So he just learned to let it be. He became more open and such as he grew with Ronny and Ronald and his personality grew into what we know now. This caused issue because Axel was always lazy but it seemed to just get worse and Ronnie couldn't deal with standing still for even a moment. So they argued a lot and Ronald always kept them in check and reminded them that they were still best friends. And it was true, Ronnie and Axel were the best of friends even though they fought a lot. Then one day there was some gang fight that Ronnie and Ronald had become a part of that Axel was sure to keep out of. It all ended in Ronald getting killed. Both Ron and Axel were crushed but Ronnie moreso than Axel and he could tell.

They continued to live with each other's company for a couple more days, not really saying anything to each other. And then Axel finally decided to confront the broken Ronnie but that just set off a fuse and she suddenly went into a blind rage and he went into a blind rage back and they had a rather epic showdown that ended with him being shot in the spine, and her leaving him to die. He didn't feel bad for himself as he felt like he was going to die. He was more worried about her than he was himself. She was his best friend... his only friend left. And suddenly everything just went black.

Afterwards he just woke up in his apartment. No idea how he got there was was perfectly fine. Though his movements were different. And his back hurt a lot so he checked and his spine was all mechanic. Again, he woke up and something was different... And he had no clue why.





TRIVIA:
→ Axel has extreme biting pressure, matching his jaw strength to that of the hyena he is fused with.
→ His rage mode for some reason only speaks Esparian, unknown as to why.
