DESCRIPTION:
→ A gaunt gentleman who stands at an imposing height of six feet and nine inches.

His face appears to be free from blemish, and his skin is of a lighter, though not quite pallid, tone. Upon his face is a neutral expression, but he’s always quick to a smile, in most circumstances. Hidden beneath his choice of attire, he possesses a well-refined body, though not overly muscular. His arms are tattooed with strange patterns that serve to hide up scars from his past, but ... he now regrets having them tattooed in the first place, and thus chooses to hide them from sight. Though his face is near completely unmarred by the countless battles he's been in(with the exception of one wound), his body has not escaped such as well. With long gashes trailing about, he tends to wear a decent amount of clothing without too much being revealed ...

His hair is usually kept parted, so as not to impair his vision and he's let it grow out due to the fact that he tends to end up stabbing someone if he holds scissors(or any other bladed item for that matter) in his hands. They are of a reddish color, which unfortunately makes him stick out like sore thumb when in a crowd. It is also naturally spiky, giving him the appearance of an asinine lunatic who stuck a wet finger in an electrical socket.

His eyes are of a crimson shade, as well, but despite the color, manifest of ire, they are blank orbs that calmly and arbitrarily view the world, accepting in whatever they can see ... and not always acknowledging that what can be seen is true. His skin, while not exactly pale, is of a tone that denotes his lack of activity beneath the embrace of the sun. He has high placed cheekbones, lack of noticeable facial hair and nearly-luminscent teeth that are constantly exposed in a gesture of mirth and goodwill.

All in all, he is rather tall, red-haired, light-skinned, with a somewhat earthy voice, and is quick to a smile.

His clothes usually aren't besmirched in any way, and remain clear of wrinkles. Often, he's seen donning a white coat atop military uniform or casual wear, and by often, I mean almost never. And most interesting is that it's never quite the same coat he wears each time: Implying he has many. But their cleanliness, quantity and size are not the only noticeable factors. No, instead ... there are several dozens of small pockets sewn onto the inside and outside(more in the former, not the latter) of his lab-coat like apparel and all of its copies, creating many, many slots in which several hundreds of scalpels can be hidden in. After all, the scalpels ARE his primary weapon, and he doesn't hesitate to use them. Given their relative abundance and location all over the coat, it seems as though he has an infinite supply suddenly appearing in his hands at will. At most, there are only 140 to 150 scalpels in one coat, but no one's going to be counting, and he hardly uses more than twenty or so.

Beyond the uniform and the constant scalpel bearing coat, his choice of clothing varies and is often just loose-fitting simplistic articles, but it is noteworthy that he prefers clothes with darker tones. Also noteworthy is that he's never seen without sunglasses of some kind.


PERSONALITY:
→ Calm, rational, calculating. These things he often is not. Boisterous, cheery, and often quirky, he is. Meeting him, you’d think he’s just this oddly eccentric young man with a peculiar sense of humor. You’d never imagine that he's the fellow who runs things around at South HQ, the largest tourist hotspot in Amestris.

And he often stays that way. A cheery person who always speaks warmly to anyone, even the poor fellow who attempted to rob him just this morning and he has him pinned to the wall with a gun in hand. He’s an optimist, happy-go-lucky, somewhat devil-may-care. From inside combat and out of it, never once does he not smile at some point and speak in a polite but friendly manner. Of course, if you note carefully, when encountering people who are obvious threats to himself and those to who he trusts or loves, he willingly kills them without a single qualm. But, what's most terrifying is that he derives some sort of twisted pleasure from it, meaning his cheery demeanor and omnipresent smile occaisionally remains throughout battle. And the only time he shows anger is when those he considers friends and allies are injured before his eyes, or when his own superiors are mocked. But even then, such anger is merely a loss of his gregarious self, while proceeding to focus on combat in silence. He is not often calm, rational or calculating … but often does not mean never. In his bouts of silent fury, he subsides into a cautious being that tries to bend things his way, making use of all assets to conquer his enemies. But, such moments are rare and hopefully few, as he doesn’t like being upset over things. He acts somewhat like a klutz as well, cursed with ill luck to the most absurd degree.

HISTORY:
→ Daichen Greene. You’ll notice, upon meeting him that he’s of both Xing and Cretan descent. And then some people ask, just how did THAT happen? While being part Amestrian as well! Well, needless to say he has had grandparents from both nations marry with Amestrians, and that his parents were the result of those conceptions, plain and simple. No sob story, no overly dramatic love story, just mere coincidence. But, he’s quite fortunate for the coincidence, since it’s been working in his favor these past few years.

Although the physical characteristics he bears cannot be traced fully back to any of the three ethnic groups he hails from, they nonetheless give the suggestion of what he is, really, as does his name. But, you can imagine he’s been held in a negative light at various times in his life due to the circumstances of his existence, though it’s from those experiences of mortification and humiliation that eventually made him accept that he is considered a mockery of a human being in the minds of many people. Perhaps that accounts for why he hates those people with a fiery passion that he expresses in a cheery, but boisterous manner whilst point guns at their heads?

Regardless, he’s considered amongst the sanest of zealous advocates and proponents to the law (even though he bends it at times) as his family has long been connected to both military organizations and peace-keeping derivatives. Such a background has groomed him for the day he’d serve in the Amestrian military, and he has no complaints … though … his family seems to have distanced themselves from him, given his often brutal nature when it comes to work (regardless of what the actual work done is).

So, that means from birth onward he’s had a very peculiar life in which he’s been made a mockery of, though he took it with a calm and comical manner to prevent conflict, from the beginning to now. In the midst of that all, he has managed to secure a competent level of education, and then proceeded to join the Amestrian Military. His initial worth was found in West City, heading there to escape the East, as just one of the several common employees there, as a minor skirmish with Cretan extremists established his reputation for brutality upon provocation. Not too long after the West terrorist issue, he then decided to take up specializing in using bladed projectiles and also found himself gearing towards a more supportive role in the whole of the military, becoming a doctor-in-training, or at least some form of a medical student. Unfortunately, his foray into medicine did not progress far due to his prior mentioned penchant for cruelty, though he did acquire a much more stable understanding of human physiology, which brought his interests to Alchemy and Alkahestry, the former he learned first and later acquiring the second after finding an old family friend to teach him (by bashing him with bricks until he finally understood how to detect the Dragon’s Pulse and therefore understand the inner workings of Alkahestry). And then, he sought to go South

Why South? Because he still has qualms being in West, were a war with Creta may break out any day now. So, when news of the Southward assault reached his ears, he was more than pleased to inquire if he could take a sizeable role amongst the others who would venture to take back the Crater (he even got a transfer to Central to accomplish this).

And lo, things were successful, as that Crater was once more theirs! His intentions to transfer South, however, were stalled during the RIOTE catastrophe, in which Central and East along with possibly other cities were destroyed or at least devastated. He had unfortunately been claimed as a wounded amidst the destruction, and was forced to recuperate (Hence his inability to participate in Amestris’s offensive against the RIOTE-controlled Drachma).

Now, though, with the conflict North settled for the time being, and his body having healed, he intends to head to South City. Finally.


ALCHEMIC/ALKAHESTRIC ABILITY:
→ Level One – Thermodynamics Manipulation. Primarily control over transference of thermal energy/heat in matter, specifically liquids, to bring about phase changes. While the Alchemy can theoretically affect all material objects, Greene has tailored it to specifically target water molecules. This can be used to bring about formation of ice or steam in a small limited area around the transmutation circle in the air (given correct atmospheric and meteorological conditions). However, since the procedure is relatively quick (nigh-instantaneous), it can also be used on larger bodies of water to produce similar results (with noticeable delay to accommodate the dispersion or absorption of heat). This ability can also target water molecules in the whole of a human being (or similar entity), though it requires prolonged contact and depends on location of where the circle was placed to determine effectiveness as well as time until noticeable effects occur.

→ Level Two – Basic level Alkahestry. Application one – Medical usage, namely, mending small wounds, either by recovering it completely or at least closing it. Prone to rebound if the wound is too large or severe. Application two – Transmission of Alchemical abilities (extends Thermodynamics Manipulation’s original maximum range to wherever a second transmutation circle can be placed, so long as it is: within in plain sight, in contact with a physical body or body of water)

TRIVIA:
→ Is only fluent in Amestrian. He can, however, speak and understand Cretan and Xingese, though not the writings of either.
→ Is a proficient knife-user … and a little crazy.
→ Was taught, after getting in the head by many bricks, how to discern the Dragon’s Pulse, allowing him to perform Alkahestry with minimal trouble.
