DESCRIPTION:
→ Her bright blue eyes are full of sass and a touch of mischief. Her skin is creamy, tinted with a light bronzing from sunlight but it goes well to fit her long, light blonde hair that is usually up in a ponytail or cascading down her back, stopping at the bottom of her shoulder blades. When not styled it is somewhat wavy with slight curls at the end. Never the one to go out of her way to impress Aello sticks with dark blue jeans, sometimes a belt and mostly lacy tank tops or a form-fitting t-shirt. Her claim is to be casual but sexy if she could help it. Her body is svelte, light curves and a medium bust to go with it...not that she really cares either way. She eats to her heart's content and burns off the calories with exercise, which she does plenty of. Normally she looks sweet and easy going but when angered they twist to a look of sheer savagery.

Aello has three different arrays tattooed on her body. Two are on both of her palms for her alchemy, in case she doesn't have anything to draw a transmutation circle with. A third transmutation circle is for artistic purposes and is inked around her naval.



PERSONALITY:
→ Her demeanor is just like the look in her eyes claim- sassy and mischievous. Banter is her game and she can play it well with her sharp tongue and quick wit. She picked this up from her father, who himself is an alchemist as well as a professor and was constantly testing his daughter's intelligence and wit. Aello has a tender smile that turns up with compassion at just the right moments- when she chooses to. That closed lipped smile can break in to a fascinating grin and her voice will fill the room with infectious laughter when she finds something funny. When you get to know her you can tell when her smiles are real or false...sometimes you have to use your mouth as a weapon to soften moments of harshness and she's always smiling anyways. Honesty is a policy she holds on to tightly, expected to be received on both ends no matter how harsh or unsettling. Truth was something she was taught at a young age. Apparently it made life easier to bear and accept what has happened as inevitable...something she quietly took in but never truly believed. This gave to becoming the optimist she is and the firm belief that the only permanent thing is death.

Her patience seems limitless, another thing she learned from dealing with her father. His lectures could go on for hours and she was expected to criticize, even write a report on if he felt she didn't grasp the concept. When that patience is finally breached, though, watch out. Whether with her tongue or fist Aello has great aim and can do serious damage to your body and ego. She is disciplined enough to know when these moments are appropriate and what needs to be let go of, though. She cautiously picks and chooses her battles and usually takes advice from her favorite book, The Art of War.

DEEPEST SECRET:
→ She sometimes despises her father. She loves him dearly, in a way only a daughter could, but his ego is massive and his constant attempts to make her feel inferior grinds her nerves. A part of her knows he means well in his own way but he was never the fatherly type and treats her like he treats his students- kindly, but with distance. It hurts her but never having been the type to reveal her pain she keeps this close and hidden.




HISTORY:
→ Aello's childhood was normal but with some differences. As the only child her parents had you'd expect a lot of doting and attention but it was quite the opposite- minus studying with her father or learning to paint with her mother she was mostly left to her own devices. Marcela Engel, her mother, was an artist who spent her days painting, day dreaming and shopping. "My little whirlwind," she was called often since she was always causing trouble and playing jokes on them. The jokes were to get their attention...and it worked. They made her mother laugh while her father got angry. In an effort to curb her antics he started teaching her alchemy. Aello took to it immediately, realizing she had a knack for it and it was something to share in common with her father.

When she was about ten years old she began getting teased at school. She was smart and the teacher's doted on her. There were pros and cons to this. Excellent grades, few friends. After she was jumped by three girls on the playground her mother enrolled her in to a martial arts school, which she found her second talent to be.

Teen years got a little harder. Her parents argued more often, sometimes about her. "She's never serious about anything." her father often said. Her mother, who could be selfish but loved her daughter dearly, defended her as best she could. "She has to be free to express herself! Maybe if you didn't always cram books down her throat she'd want to be serious." They usually escalated and her father would sleep in his study. More and more time he devoted to his research. One day her mother told her they were moving to the other side of the city.

"You're father and I are getting a divorce. I know this is sudden but we just can't stand to be around each other anymore."

Aello took this news well, to her mother's surprise. She was tired of hearing them fight all the time. Her mother left one thing out, though. They were moving alright- in with her new boyfriend. She didn't like him at all. Aello began acting out again, playing slightly malicious pranks on the now-fiancee. After a year her mother finally gave up and sent her to live with her father. Things pretty much settled in to a normal routine. School, study, train, study, sleep...sometimes a party here and there...more school and such. The only time she spent with her father was to listen to his latest speech or learn alchemy. That was fine with her because he was a pretty dull person, in her opinion. The young woman spent her spare time in the streets, making new friends. Since developing in to her a pretty young lady she suddenly had a few more friends and more things to do. Unfortunately these friends are considered criminals and juvenile delinquents to most people but through the trash Aello found some good ones in the mix. The alchemist never got mixed up in the violence or drugs (except some fights here and there) instead learning some cooler things like parkour and making strong alliances with people who'll have her back when she needs them.

Now she still resides in the same home as her father, the home she grew up in. Aello works at the dojo as an instructor and makes a decent living.





ALCHEMIC/ALKAHESTRIC ABILITY:
→ Air is an abundant element and almost impossible to take away. Aello realized this and wondered how manipulating the air around her would work for her alchemy. To her surprise it was a wonderful skill. She can break down the flow of wind and transmute it to her will...and to get enough force behind her blow (literally) she has to focus a lot of will power in to it. She prefers short, sharp gusts and blow her opponent out of her way. It's also useful to dust up dirt and leaves to create a confusing barrier between anyone. When focused, she can create a strong blast of air aimed at legs or head. The fact that the air is invisible also adds a surprise element to any attacks used, greatly enhancing both chances of hitting and how effective it is. It is usually noticed when objects around you are bent out of proportion or you hear a whirling sound close by, or by the dirt and debris flying at you or in your eyes.

→ Aello has a soft spot for animals, especially young kittens, and sometimes finds one and takes care of it until she finds it a home.

- Erase all references to the Greeks in your history and in your language. The closest equivalent to the MDA universe towards "Greek" are the Xerxians, whom have an extinct language nobody should know at this point. The only people whom actually are called Amazonian in the forum are a group of matriarchal society filled with warrior women within Esparia.

- Electric Alchemy is banned. So pick another subject for your transmutation.

Honestly, the only issue I have is with Alchemy. What you have is effectively two abilities. The first one is the cutting, and the second is the pushing. What I would advise is that you use the pushing (since there are a lot of cutters). Other than that, wonderful app~

- Please add a distortion of sorts towards the air that is alchemically induced. Such as bending the scenery around to indicate its coming, as well as some particles flying around it. Anyways, when you add that, you're good to go. Just remember to go more in depth of your alchemy in your transmutation app when you're approved.
