DESCRIPTION:
→ Michael has a blond hair. Anywhere else than face, his hair reaches his neck. On the face it merely reaches his eyes. His eyes are blue, although they tend to look black in dark places. Michael's eyes are not only just blue, but also determined. Or sharp, if that's a better concept. He hardly takes his eyes away from the person he is talking with. But despite of that, he is fully aware of what is happening around him. If something is happening on his right side, he only moves his eyes. But if something is happening on his left, he has to turn his head a little. That is because of the slight damages in his left eye. Personally, he is surprised he still has that eye at all. Michael has a fairly small nose and small nostrils, which is why he has to sniff if he wants to recognize any scent. And then there is his mouth. It reflects boredom and unhappiness most of the time. Also, he never opens his mouth to smile.

Michael's skin color is nothing from unusual. He has slightly athletic body, as he has worked out to keep himself in shape for his future goal. There is only one unusual feature in his body. Michael was trapped inside a burning building many years ago. His left arm was crushed by the falling parts and some of his skin on the left side of his face and torso received very nasty burns. And to Michael's defense, he would be rather good-looking without them. The arm was replaced with an automail. Michael tends to hide it with his black leather gloves and hooded jacket with both red and black colors in it. Hooded jacket can be opened with a zipper. Underneath the jacket, Michael wears shirtless leather vest. It can also be opened with a zipper. Under both of these pieces of clothes is Michael's rosary. He carries it always with him.

On his legs, Michael wears black leather pants. They are not kept up only by belt, but with black straps. He always ties them firmly, so that they won't open by an accident. If he wants to wear something more practical, he chooses black cargo pants. Michael wears black sneakers and black socks.



PERSONALITY:
→ Michael's personality isn't complicated by the standards of human personalities, but it may be difficult to understand the place of his traits. Metaphor. If normal mind would be normal puzzle with 1 000 pieces and complicated mind a puzzle with 5 000 pieces, then Michael's mind would be a puzzle with 600 pieces, but all the pieces are white. His mind has been formed from his life experience, natural personality traits and some personal conclusions.

The most important aspect that should be mentioned about Michael revolves around one word. Truth. If one wants to understand the world, that person would have to find the truth in the sea of lies. Truth is absolute and unchangeable, which also makes it difficult to find that one solid piece. He is also very determined to find that truth and curious enough to be interested enough of looking for it. Truth is also requirement for any kind of social relationship. When Michael makes a new friend, it's hard for him to leave that friend. It may be the cause of his childhood, where he didn't practically have any friends. Although he may seem rather cold, hating or uncaring on his outer appearance, Michael is fairly social person. And if you are able to follow his explanations, talking with him should get more comfortable. And there is at least one sign that will tell that he considers you as a friend. While Michael does love truth, he leaves it untold if it could harm someone emotionally. That's the sign. Lies are the sign.

Michael has an intelligent mind, which enabled him to learn alkahestry. If you want him to explain something more simpler, you have to specifically ask for it. From his opininon, one shouldn't downgrade himself to reach the level of others. Others would just have to raise themselves to his level. That's the kind of pride Michael possesses. If someone happens to be in higher position than him, in any way, the same policy applies. He tries to raise himself to the level of that person. If this proves to be impossible, Michael accepts his position as a lower being. However, this results in irrational hate towards that person.

As I mentioned before, honesty is pretty much the only requirement for a friendship. But what about his basic instinct of finding a partner? Unfortunately, Michael belongs to that small group who have no sexual emotions. In more simpler terms, an asexual. He has a lack of sexual attraction and no interest or desire for sex. However, he is not aromantic. That means that if he becomes attached to someone in an extremely strong way, he is capable of developing platonic love towards that person.

Michael's seeming attraction towards criminal organizations should probably be explained at this point. The whole idea of belonging into that organization may seem contradicting with his personality. However, pieces do come together when you think about it. All of the information is not visible for the daylight, which requires one to look for it from places with shadows. And some large criminal organizations, mainly the two that Michael has worked for, have certain degree of honor, so it's more suitable than one could guess. While Michael is willing to be ruthless in order to stay there, he doesn't seek situations to be like that. It may has become harder as the time goes on, but he believes that he can manage. Michael has decided to rethink his career choice for varying reasons

Michael is capable of defending himself in the situation where it's needed. He has learned modern self-defense called ''Spirit Combat''. The concept of Lung Mei, Dragon's Pulse, which is included in that particular form, helped Michael to understand it more efficiently. His style of fighting is to wait for the opponent to attack and then use counter-attack to incapacitate the opponent. This shouldn't be too hard, if the opponent isn't very skilled. He avoids killing, because that would be pointless. In fact, he avoids fighting too, seeing that he feels himself as an observer rather than a man of action.

HISTORY:
→ Michael was noted as creative right from his early childhood. His father, Dr. Anthony Reed, was a parent who encouraged that kind of behavior. His mother, on the other hand, was very confident that kid should choose what he wants to do. Luckily, those two opinions never crossed with each other. Michael had a relatively normal childhood. He went to school at the age of 7 and made few friends there. Nothing unusual. That is, until this peaceful period changed.

It was a cloudy day. Michael was biking his way towards his home. He wanted to make it before the rain would fall. As he got closer, he noticed an ominous red light coming from that general direction. Michael picked up some speed because of this. He feared something. And he was right. A fire had started in his house. He should have called to an emergency number. He should have waited for someone to come and help. But he was a thoughtless kid who was worried about his parents. And he ran straight in.

It was horrible for a child to see the environment he had known for his whole life to burn. He was afraid right on the door. But one sight made him to continue. Michael's feinted mother lied in the hallway. But only after few steps, he fell to the ground. He couldn't breath. And the heat was horrible. But he still was able to make brief movements. Michael reached out with his left arm. He was almost reached. But everything went black...

Michael opened his eyes again in a room filled with light. At first, he didn't think anything. He was in a weird state of calmness. His father was there. His grim face shook Michel fully awake. He was good with conclusions. He started to cry before his father could even say anything. This moment of sorrow leaded into few more reveals. After a while of crying, he noticed that he didn't feel his tears coming from his left eye. In fact, his left eye had reduced vision compared with the right one. Michael turned his gaze over the left side of his body. There was a visible and bad looking burn. But what truly shocked him was the condition of his left arm.

It wasn't there.

Michael was about to freak out, but his father managed to prevent that. And so he explained. He was at the work during the incident and found out by the call on emergency number. He was shocked when he found out that it was his house which was on fire. He wanted to leave, but knew that it would only make things more worse. He needed to be at the hospital to be able to help his family. However, once they arrived there, the shock was too much. His son's arm was crushed and the upper left part of his torso was terribly burned. It even reached to his face a little. But his wife was covered. Only one hanging arm was seen. It's skin was torched black and few of the fingers were burned to the bone. It looked like the hand of Death. He had a panic attack thus was unable to help his son. His arm had to be amputated. But he survived.

Michael remained silent after the story. He was silent for his entire time at the hospital, which was one month. He remained silent in his mother's funeral. He remained silent when he learned how to use his right arm instead of his left one. But then, he broke that silence. It was during that same year, before the summer vacation came to an end. Five, life changing words.

''I want to bring light''

He entered the school again, the eight grade, with fiery determination. His friends say that he seemed like he wanted to create something greater. He studied even on his free time, researching about various things. This continued for the whole key stage 3. When he entered key stage 4, he took a lot of new subjects. Including Xingese and Amestrian. Halfway that year, he was noticed by a traveling teacher. His name was Ogichi Masu.

He approached Michael after one of his classes. He had noticed his fiery determination and wanted to know why did he study those languages so intently. Michael's answer was simple. He had to be able to understand languages before he could read alchemical and alkahestrical books from other countries. Ogichi wanted to offer some help. He wasn't an alchemist himself, but he had seen world and it's wonders. He helped Michael to gain enough courage to take an automail. He helped Michael to choose between alkahestry and alchemy. And finally, in order to understand it better, he introduced a fighting style called ''Spirit Combat'' to Michael. It originated from Creta, but used methods of many combat styles. And it included Lung Mei, Dragon's Pulse. After Michael finished with his studies, he couldn't even describe the help and support that Ogichi had brought. He is still regretful that he couldn't think anything at all that would thank him enough.

Michael didn't continue his studies further, but moved away from home started to take part-time jobs. He didn't have a plan on how to succeed in his goal. Nor did he exactly know what his goal was. But the idea was there. He did come in terms on what he had to do when an opportunity arrived. At first, he didn't think it as a right choice to do. He learned about Yakuza's existence in Creta during his part-time jobs. Some of his employers were paying ''protection fee'', as they called it. And when Michael met a third employer with such a problem. And the solution was a simple one.

Michael would his services as a payment, essentially joining their ranks and hence releasing his, now former, employer from the fee.

Local members of Yakuza agreed on this deal. Michael did this act for two reasons. First one was to give someone a better life, even if it was a complete stranger. Second one was his realization on the fact that not every piece of information was under the sun, but hidden within various places to hide. Michael picked up to learn Aerugese as he positioned himself as a member of a Yakuza. He had joined very recently, so it was fairly obvious that his position is still very low. Future, on the other hand, was still undetermined...

Michael spent some time in Aerugo due to his new occupation. He came in contact with rather varying types of people, some of which were more unusual than others. Colorful or not, it was still Yakuza. This meant that Michael was involved with several unpleasant jobs. Their unpleasantness didn't, however, did not exceed Michael's willingness to succeed in his goal. But one did came close. It was a raid, directed towards a group called "Dragons". For one, that was one of the few times Michael has actually had to use his gun outside of practice. It was also that day when that gun claimed its first victim.

The Yakuza group Michael was in, Yamaguchi-gumi, experienced some problems not long after the raid. It also resulted in a sort of disbanding. However, Michael wasn't unemployed for long. He found his way to Cosca Falzone, a mafia in La Cérise. He attempted to try his idea once more, despite of his current stress cause by the raid. The mafia seemed a bit more sophisticated than Yakuza, but that was simply the general appearance of the people there. Otherwise it was rather similar.

However, there were problems in the mafia as well, resulting into a similar situation than before. Disbanding. Michael decided to return to Creta. He had started to doubt his idea and decided that it was a time to re-think his plans...

→ Michael's favorite card game is Koi-Koi, a game played with Hanafuda-cards.
→ And while we're on that, Michael's favorite board game is chess. And this has nothing to do with the stereotype ''smart people play chess''. Mainly because he's not that good at it.
→ Favorite brand of sweets is chocolate.
→ Even though Michael's middle name is written as Rain, it's pronounced as Rayne.
→ Michael has a tendency of using metaphors for some words. For example, a word ''light'' also means ''truth'' and word ''darkness'' means ''ignorance''. There are more of these words, but they shall be translated when they occur.
→ As Michael has lived his whole life in Creta, he naturally reads and speaks Cretan. He learned Amestrian and Xingese at grammar school and communicates fluently with both of them. He has started to learn Aerugese quite recently. Reading is still a bit clumsy, but he is starting to get grasp of the spoken language. Michael has also recently learned some basic Cerisian

One way or another, both of these issues have been solved.
