Spoiler:

DESCRIPTION:
→ First things first, because they are most obvious: One might propably notice, that Vijaya Giovanetti is a rather tall individual, usually towering over and looking down on the people around her. In a mostly physical way, of course. She's more of a stick then a wardrobe though, so her stature isn't as intimidating as her tallness might imply. Then again, she's not really that much of a stick, seeing how Vay in fact puts the most effort into training into shape, eradicating all unnecessary fat, replacing it with muscle and being athlethic. In short, under the average toned skin lie in fact not only bones, but well-trained muscles, more or less visible around various bodyparts and -regions.
A rather rare stature aside, there's some other features to her that make her different to the run-off-the-mill mannequins with no faces or characteristics at all. Like, short, purple-blueish hair (if that is her natural color or if nature needed a little outside motivation will be a secret for ever and ever) and bright green-turquoise-esque eyes. These are, no exceptions, never in any kind of way or shape painted with make up of any sort, because their owner has more important matters then pretty looks on her mind. What goes for the eyes goes double for the rest too. No lipstick, no rouge, no anything, just natural beauty. Although that's in the eye of the beholder.

In any case, being practically married to everything athletic, her favorite clothing is generally tight-fitting, cut short and light, although the meteorological circumstances would prevent it's use every once in a while. Vay will, in most situations, wear her favorites nevertheless, since she probably won't freeze anyway, being as jumpy and ever-moving as she is. The clearly most-liked clothes of ever are a set of matching sleeveless tanktop -of course tailored to both support and showoff an more then ample bosom, of which she's quite proud, and a bare midriff steeled by various sporty activities- and just as close-cut pair of shorts that accentuate long, trained legs, a nicely shaped behind and a no-fat-waist all at once.
Over these two -or very similar replacement pieces, depending on laundry needs and such- Vay normally wears a set of wide white overcoat, rarely buttoned up, and something loosely resembling a skirt around her waist, although that's not closed up either. Both of these are more of an accessory like the purse or a hat for many others. 'nother accessory she's never seen without, except maybe when taking a bath, shower or the likes, would be the white hair- and headband that's responsible for the distinctive, big bowtie in the back of her head.

Two more, very prominent and individual things to Vijaya's physical apprearance have yet to be named at all, though. The easier to explain one would be her classic and ever true lack of shoes. That does not mean she walks trough life barefoot, however. It's just, mostly due to her intense love to sports, she opts to use rollerblades instead. They are fast, they are fun and it keeps one fit, so it's her clear choice, along with joint protection for the knees and elbows of course – safety first and all that.
The other thing is a bit more obvious, although perma-rollers are already pretty unusual. While Vay does wear a rather plain fingerless sports glove on her left hand, she does not on her right. That's mostly because it is in fact not easily possible to find a not-customed glove that will fit over a replicated automail hand. How that came to happen, we will get to it later on. For now, we'll stick with saying it's there and it encompasses the hand and half of the way to the elbow, is made of blackened aluminium-alloy with regards to lightness and mobility due to Vay's sportish nature.

PERSONALITY:
→ Vijay's quite the cheerful type, if there ever was one. In most cases, although there are -naturally- exceptions that we will cover later on, she'll see the bright side of things before anything. And if there is no bright side, she can probably make one up. Or find a witty comment to it. Altogether very open-minded to any and everything, she does have the unusual habit to grab quite uncalled for ideas, plans and wants from thin air, then try to go trough with them. Spontaneous need for certain food kinds, for example. The happy-go-lucky behavior Vay goes trough the day with does sometimes maneuver her into strange, bad or outright dangerous situations - partially due to the fact that not everyone takes the same to certain actions, partially due to some random inspiration she might have gotten and happily followed.

Even though that is quite the bright attitude and she seems to be more of the ditzy person, Vijay can indeed stay focused, if it means something to her. Like, for an example, dire situations or under any kind of challenge she is intent to win by giving it her all. It's a part that hardly shines trough, though. Most of the time, even in confrontations of many a kind, she stays true to her slightly crazed self and it's sometimes displayed weirdness.
If she's not engaged in sportly activities, like racing around places, iceskating, ball games or virtually anything athletics.
To these she is practically addicted. The point to her existence is sports. Since ever she had not been any good at scholarly things, like math or things that require some strategic ahead-thinking, nor artisans' work like making things or cooking. In fact Vijaya's more of a klutz and pretty anti-talented when it comes to these kinds of things. Boil water and pour pre-made stuff in, the purplebluehead might just be able to pull off, anything more complex then that, likely not. And if, you life might just be at stake during dinner.

Keyword dinner. Or more precise: Food in general. In strong contrast to her unusual strong pull towards sportly activities stands a idolatrous love for sweet, sugar-rich soft drinks and classically unhealthy fast food. Also, ice. But none of that really stays with her for long, due to her active nature and lifestyle. Lastly on topic of obsessions, Vay is very much a “challenge accepted” kinda person. She doesn't know problems, nor difficulties, only challengitunities that wait to be taken on and solved. Maybe this is due to her pride as an athlete and competitive nature, akin and closely related to honour if the individual. In the end no one will ever truly know, because her ways are random and her trains of thought often hard to reconstruct. Thanks to random inspirations for that one.

Her free time is unequally distributed between training sessions for activities and aimless strolling about in search of something or nothing, depending on the newest unreasonable idea. Although Mrs. Giovanetti is with the military, she doesn't exactly feel attached to the service and skips out on duty more often then not, unless there are really important orders. Why join then? Why go trough the trouble of basic training then? Simple, Vijay felt it probably a good exercise under supervision for herself. Why not quit, if she's skipping out from standby and patrol duties most of the time anyway? Another question easily answered. She just can't be bothered to really care about quitting, or forgets about it. Either way, it wouldn't really change a whole lot to and for her.

LOVE:
→ All kinds of fastfood: burgers, fries, pizza, hotdogs and stuff, we'll read the rest up at the local fast food restaurant later
→ Anything that closely resembles sugary energy-drink-esque beverages. And sweet, high calorine juices
→ Likes to go fast, i.e. running, rollerskating, train, car, boat, free fall, you name it. Speedfreak
→ Sunshine. It really doesn't need to be warm or something, long as it is not raining, since sports in the rain sucks
→ Tarmac. It makes for great runways, smells like big city and allows for high speeds when moving around
→ Big city life. Although it is loud, sometimes smelly and crowded, Vay's a born city kid and really goes into full bloom in her favourite environment
→ Coats. Not because they make wonderfully covering winter wear, but because they flail so nice when you go fast. And look badass.
→ Blue gentian. Cause blue is totally her colour.
→ Weirding people out for fun, by bi- or homosexually approaching them.

HATE:
→ Rain. And snow. And Thunderstorms. And hailstorms. And sandstorms. And...
→ The colour red. Or red things. And red clothes. Also, many other things red.
→ Cigarettes, their smoke and their stumps, as well as their ashes.
→ Fish. The less she has to touch of these in her life, the better. They also make for bad food cause you need to be very patient to catch them.
→ Grassy plains. While they are good for soccer, they aren't useful for most other sports she likes.
→ Caves. They just give her the chills.
→ Sharks. As an extension to fish, she hates how they have a habit to ruin perfectly fine surf boards.
→ Doorframes, they are ALWAYS too low.

DEEPEST SECRET:
→ Would like to see (and/or make) the world take a step back from war over every tiny conflict and instead instate problem solving via either compromises or participation in fair competition. (Although she sort of realizes that's propably impossible – key word: sort of.)

...........................................................................

HISTORY:
→ History, as few of it as there is really. The humble beginnings are hardly worth the mention, the usual baby thing. Food, diapers, sleep. And stuff. From early days on, though, it was evident, that Vijay would not be an indoors-child at all. She always had a good connection to everything outside of the house. No fear to get dirty or hurt, no real perception for potentially dangerous things. Another indicator for this showed itself during the school years. The girl scored superb grades in active classes, such as physical education, and just so managed to pass the ones that required the head and not the body. Especially math and history. Also, she started bodily development rather early and quickly shot in height past her classmates, using that physical advantage to more or less bully them on occasion, which also prevented the exact opposite: being bullied because of a notable size difference and rather lacking grades in most classes.

As the years passed by, nothing changed really, and Vijaya just ever so close managed to graduate from the basic education. With not quite the qualifications met to get into any kind of job, she resorted to being unemployed and went on doing what she liked to do and was good at: sports. Of course, unless you are contracted with a big sponsor and manager, you don't exactly make a whole lot of money from outrunning and -swimming people, beating them in various lowman- and solo-sports and athletics on mostly amateur-based events and competitions. Not even if you are renowned to take and conquer every single one challenge in quite a while. This also included her picking up on some mixed martial arts and especially kick boxing. Not only for self-defense pruposes but it was also a competitive sport of skill and andurance like most others she likes.
So nature took it's course and the parents decided it to be time to kick their kin out of the nest... er, her family wanted her to go find a job, stop leeching off their income and loaf around (while she physically wasn't, jobwise she was).
So Vijay actually had to care for things, for once. Not that it worked. After a few days here and there, she had to take some action other then staying with friends repeatedly. And as fate plays, there happened to be an advertisement that cought her attention by chance. It belonged to the military, but who cares? They were, as always, looking for able-bodied individuals of physical capability for active duty, promised a thorough training, money and of course, the respect people payed their country's soldiers and soldierettes. Only so long later, Vay had enlisted herself, despite a definite complication regarding height. After a slightly closer first inspection of physical capabilities, a new grade A candidate was born and an exception to the rules made.

Basic training was, naturally, no problem at all for the trained individual, so the tall girl went trough that without issues and passed the final test to be an official soldier with flying colours in the practical part, so that could make up for the shortcomings in the theory one. In celebratory measure of this event, she took what little money she'd earned so far and wont for a holiday. But not an actual holiday, it was, in fact, more of a surfing trip for the summer. ON which it came to happen that a shark with especially bad eyesight seemed to mistake the sports equipment for a big fish. Or a seal. Or something. Doesn't matter anyway. What does matter is, t'was a bloody mess. While V did not immediately notice nor feel the sudden lack of right-handedness, she was indeed shocked about the ugly, sharkjaw-shaped hole in her expensive board. Either of the two shocks might be responsible for her not fainting on the spot, but only after she had made way back to the beach, to be found and brought to medical help by random bystanders that luckily observed the events unfold. For all that could be done at that point she was pretty much left with a ruined board and a stump for a right forearm. Worst holiday in forever is what she'd file this memory under.

So, back on duty, it was quite clear that this state wouldn't be very helpful for neither herself nor the militia. So either she was dismissed early in her career, which she herself was strongly against and her supers as well kind of didn't like the thought of wasting such a fine young talent, or excruciatingly painful (and kinda expensive) prosthetic operations. Although usually the Army only covered things of that caliber when it was based on on-duty accidents or incidents, another exception to the rules was made. Mostly because Vay's sign-in contract was indefinate -meaning there was no set time when she'd not be enlisted for duty anymore, but also no set regulations on leaving the militia- and skilled talents like that don't come very often. On the other hand that meant lots of months, actually it was a bit more then two and a half years, in rehab for her. Months spend off active duty, although they tried to tie Vay to office work at least, that failed horribly every time due to her innate un-skill at things that required brain and not brawn.

While the recuperation from attaching artificial limbs isn't quite a joyride, Vijay took that with comparedly no complaints whatsoever. Much worse for her was the fact, that she was, for the longest time of it, not allowed to do anything at all, not even get out of bed without a doctors permission and supervision. To her, this was almost as bad as going trough some kind of hell full of temptations and torture. So, fresh out of the hospital's bed, she now has a lot of plans for things she wants to do, doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell most of them are related to sports, and places she wants to go to. And maybe serve her active duty every once in a while. Just maybe.
