CASE FILE: Transmutation Equipment

→ Liquid Draining
TYPE:
→ Elemental
LEVEL:
→ Level 1
FORM:
→ The transmutation circle is imbedded into a stamp. Ink is included to be able to stamp the circle on objects/substances/etc.

BRIEFING:
→ The transmutation circle that Tolk uses is not very intricate at all. Since she doesn’t really have very many abilities in her current alchemy, the array that is used is quite simple. The trick is actually having the skill to use it. Inside the circle there are two lines, each slanting to the right and curling up to the center. The ‘center’ also has another circle, very small, with a one shaded in dot in the middle. There is another line reaching from right to left of the array – but it is straight and doesn’t twist or turn in any way. Two other circles are made toward the end of this straight line, on each side. After the largest circle there is another – large – circle that stretches around everything in the middle.
The main ability of the circle is to drain the liquid out of anything it is drawn/stamped upon. To do anything else would require a more complicated transmutation. If there is something in the way (take skin for an example) then the circle will find any weak points and extract the liquid from there. Tolk uses this transmutation as a defensive action. The drawbacks would be that it can be very hard to use if the liquid/water is underneath something incredibly dense. If the ‘something’ is too compacted then the water may only be able to seep out in very, very small amounts – rendering it basically useless in situations like these.
Tolk Takagachi had to understand the basic components of a water molecule as well as how to condense the water and extract it. The condensing part is not as hard as the extracting part. The transmutation circle provides the array – letting the user both condense and extract… but not at the same time. This is why it takes at least a moment or two for Tolk to set everything up properly. Condensing happens first and the extraction second, so another drawback of this be how much time it takes to use it.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
→ If Tolk uses the transmutation on something living, the wound that was made as the water is drained does not heal up immediately. If it is used somewhere vital it could very well mortally or fatally hurt the individual.

INQUIRY/REVISE
If it is something that is drawn out of the container of liquid, how was it that Tolk can use alchemy through the proxy despite the array not directly going on the body of water? Unless you're using a proximity based array, but if so, please add that in. Do give a more in depth scientific explanation of how it is achieved besides stamping it, and you're golden. Get rid of all the little kinks is required, and all the possible loopholes. Also be sure to provide a distance of effective withdrawal of water.
