The kukri machete was actually created first as a chopping tool that was, as many tools were, adapted to become a weapon. A kukri that is designed for general use is usually 40-45 cm (16-18 in) in its full length, and weighs about 450-900 grams (1-2 lbs). Due to the added weight towards the forward section of the blade, it allows her blades to come down on her targets faster and with more power. The very construction of a kukri machete can affect it. To reduce weight while keeping strength, the blade might be hollow forged, or a fuller (is a rounded or beveled groove or slot in the flat side of a blade) is made. Karen's has a single fuller running along the length of the blade. There is usually a notch at the base of the blade by the handle to allow blood to drop off there as opposed to getting on her hands. Hers have two. Her handles are made of hardwood with metal caps attached at the hilt and the base. This is where we see the ring that the leather rope is tied to that connects her two kukri machetes together. It allows for flexibility, mobility, and retains light weight. The length of the rope is approx. 3 yards. The threads are normally threaded through the sleeves of her white jacket.

Kunai commonly range from 20-60 cm in length which averages out to 40 cm. The blades are normally shaped like a leaf, but hers are long and thin. In a way, they are like needles, but retain the shape of your normal kunai. Karen's do not have the ring at the pommel, but instead taper off to a rectangular pommel. She has white fabric wrapped tightly about them as the grip. She has about four visible in the holsters that strap to her legs at all times, but it is clear that she caries more than just four of these babies around.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
→ Her kunai allow her to apply her alkahestry at long distances, each one engraved with a pentagram so she doesn't necessarily have to form a star with them. In this way, it allows her alchemy to reach to whomever they embed themselves into.

Two connected machetes? Badass. So she can throw them around and shit... I like this.
