It was high noon, and the clock had just struck 12:00 on the dot. Kaede stood separated from all others on the street, his eyes locked on the man before him. He eyed his weapons....Which would he choose? This...This was the day he had been born for, this one choice would define the rest of his life. He would tell stories of it to hos children, and his children's children. He glanced at the clock, he had little time left...He had to make a dissension soon...Or all would be lost!!"Ill have ketchup on my dog...hold the relish!" No!! No!!!! he knew he had made a mistake the moment it had left his mouth...but it was to late, his nemesis was already handing him dog minus relish....he had no choice but to take the sad excuse for a dog into his hand...It nearly made him weep!! It looked so naked...soo cold.....Exposed the way it was with out its tasty green dress.....

With a sigh and a shake of his head he moved away from the hotdog cart, his eyes nearly misting with tears as he regarded his lunch. Should...should i go back? Theres time still...Time to right this wrong!! He turned back...but the line that had been so short a minute ago was now packed with other savvy adventurers....IT WAS TO LATE!!

It was then that he noticed it....a cool breeze blowing between his bare legs.....Bare legs......He looked down....and his pants where hanging around his ankles!! No wonder the cart owner had tried to hurry him along!! No wonder his steps had been so stunted! With a blush( at his stupidity more then the state of his dress) He reached down and hiked his pants back up before hurrying away from the place of his defeat...his shame.....

He walked along the street, munching on his sad excuse for a hot dog searching the streets for any sort of misconduct....He felt that he needed to redeem him self...He felt dirty with shame. Sadly everyone seemed to be on there best behavior at that exact moment...It was as if the universe it self was conspiring against him!! Ohh the shame!! He took another bite out of his lunch and he watched as slowly....ever so slowly a gob of ketchup fell onto his bare arm....Where the hell had his shirt gone!!?!? With a quick lick he cleaned him self up...and went searching...no questing for the missing part of his wardrobe.

"Thank you very much. Stay safe." Spoke a relatively tall Aerugese woman, her long black hair pinned back in a bun for once this particular day and her little hat absent. Her bangs still hung in her face not that her striking blue eyes were blocked at all, slowly rising up from the stool of the little ramen stall she had chosen to eat at for lunch. The man bowed to her as she parted the half-curtains, stepping out onto the street in her shiny black heels. Taking a deep breath in, Kasumi felt most satisfied after that meal, casting her gaze about at the area around her. Alright, back to duty. Lunch break was over. Yes, today she had taken an early lunch, but she didn't particularly care. She had walked along her route faster than normal (unconsciously) and so had come to her self-appointed mid-point earlier than normal. Why not eat? She'd need her strength in case she did run into-

Her eyes paused on the park that was across the street, staring at the shirt that lay there abandoned to the breeze. Sighing lightly to herself, she was smiling since she had a few guesses as to whom it could possibly be from. Crossing the street when it was a good time to, she plucked the shirt up and lay it over her arm, looking around for the coat that should go over it. Really, for an officer of the law he should keep a better eye on his clothes. Especially since they weren't newbies. They were Senior Police Officers, Corporals. They weren't green horns anymore. At this point Kasumi was used to it, and really.... she didn't mind at all. The view was rather... excellent after all. Not that she'd said it to his face quite yet, or.. at the very least expressed how much she did like the view. Sure there were teasing jabs back and forth, but thats the rhythm the pair seemed to have taken up. No, they were really quite brilliant together in all honesty.

Her feet carried her into the park further and further, passing by couples, students, business folk, old folk, the diversity of life that was their home. Her uniform was prim and perfect as always, somehow always managing to really accent her curves. She suspected it had some unspoken thing to do with the higher ups. Had to be. Meh. Ah! Slowing in her step for a moment, there was a gaggle of kids playing with a familiar jacket that she had to retrieve, her strides lengthening as much as her pencil skirt would allow. "Excuse me~" She called, crouching down so she was on the same level as the kids, their steps slowing as they all gathered around the pretty lady whom was addressing them. "I'm afraid I must return that jacket to its owner. May I please have it back?" She asked them sweetly, a warm smile upon her lips. They all looked at each other and seemed to reach some sort of unspoken agreement, now turning back to her. "What do we get for it?" Oh. Well, how unexpected. She winked to them, coyness seeping into her smile as she reached into one of her coat pocket, pulling out little charms for them of anime/manga characters. "You are in luck! You each get one of these." They all squealed and the exchange was made, straightening back up with a soft chuckle to herself. They thanked her and were on their way, Kasumi returning to the hardest part. Finding her partner.

Sure, she could radio him, but who knew if his pants were even still on at this point? No, good old detective work was going to find him for her. She asked some people who were sitting on benches or the grass if they had seen a man matching Soshi-san's description, only a few offering any kind of helpful leads. But she was determined, and she always managed to find him one way or the.. other.... She had passed entirely through the park at this point and paused in her walking to peer out at a man a few blocks away. He was missing a shirt... But were there bells? Breaking into a careful run as she crossed each street, she picked up the pace until she just had one last street to cross to catch up. By then she slowed back down to slightly faster walk than normal, admiring the view from behind. Mmm... she was so very lucky... She placed a hand on his shoulder, "Sir, I should arrest you for losing your clothes. Please come with me." She spoke, unable to hold back the chuckle as she caught up fully to him, offering him his shirt and jacket with a smirk.

Now where did he leave it.....Where the hell did he leave it? Kaede was always up for a quest but this one was becoming....Difficult and normally that would have been a turn on for him!!! But not this time....It was cold and he was nipping and everyone was staring!! It wasn't every day you saw a nearly naked scar covered giant walking down the street and it was even rarer to see an officer of the law(His badge was rather distinctive and clipped to his pants) who also happened to be a giant naked scar covered man. Most days he wouldn't have cared one way or another, hell he kinda liked the attention(He was truly an exhibitionist at heart ). But he was in uniform right then...at least half of it....and he needed to do it justice!!

He could only shake his head then, his tiny bells jiggling as he did so, he had come to enjoy that sound...the faint ringing it had left in his ears. It reminded him of home and well he loved home so that was good thing!! He had back tracked all the way back to the hotdog cart."Hey did anyone see where i put my shirt?!?!?!" He figured some one would have but....They only snickered and looked away. "Seriously.....Whats so funny about a man with out his shirt? Its not like i have a rubber ducky or anything tattooed on my back...." Well at least he didn't think so...he hardly ever saw his back side, and the few times he had it was never seen vary clearly.....And he could remember(Or more accurately not remember) he had gotten raging Drunk with Ran.....OH GOD I MIGHT HAVE A DUCKY ON MY BACK!!!

No now was not the time to flip out or loose control!! He was on a mission! He would die before he was out done by something as insignificant as clothing!!! With a new sense of determination he searched the surrounding area....Smelling the air like a blood hound as if he could track it by scent alone. Ohh yes he could sense it now...he was close....sooo vary close to his prize!

Something soft touched his shoulder and he vary nearly flipped a bitch and pimp handed who ever happened to be behind him..."Sir, I should arrest you for losing your clothes. Please come with me." His body had tensed, his hand had risen...luckily She had spoken before he had unwound!!! He knew that voice....He knew it well in fact!! "Ohh Kasumi kun, you can arrest me any day of the week.....In fact.." He starts to turn taking his cuffs from his belt. "You can use my cuffs.....lets just find my shirt first.......Ahh i see you already have!!" He could only grin then and take his cloths from her.

He looks her over before doing anything else.....Damn was she looking fine! In all honesty he was expecting to get paired up with some fat slovenly man, but nothing could have been farther from the truth! Kasumi was what all men and boys had wet dreams over, perfect figure sharp, exotic eyes, and a keen wit as sharp as any razer blade she was an imposing prospect to be sure. Luckily their working and personal relationships had blossomed into more then respect, but also into friendship. He truly was one lucky son of a bitch! No disrespect meant mom...

So completely forgetting his cloths he looked his partner in the eye."Sooooo......Do i have a rubber duck tattooed on my back or no? I was getting some odd looks...and well i remember this night that i cant remember soooo...ya..." He just had to know and now seemed like as good a time as any to find out....."Anywho what brings little old you to this neck of the woods? I could have sworn you where walking around 5th street and there abouts!" He crossed his arms in front of his chest, his shirt and coat yet again falling forgotten o the ground.

Aaaand there were the bells. As if she needed any more confirmation that this was the man she wanted. He was wearing his uniform pants after all! She saw him tense up upon contact, but wasn't at all afraid or worried that he would actually hit her. "Ohh Kasumi kun, you can arrest me any day of the week.....In fact.." Her eyebrow raised as her smirk grew, glancing down as he began to draw his handcuffs out of their little holder at his belt. "You can use my cuffs.....lets just find my shirt first.......Ahh i see you already have!!" Hehehe, her fingers curled back into her hand as he took his clothes from her, letting her arm fall back to her side. Such a distractable man he was. But it was somehow rather attractive on him, probably because he was so earnest.

"Don't tempt me too much Kaede, maybe one of these days I will." She winked and chuckled to herself, glancing about the street to the wandering eyes towards the rather odd pair. A sexy mama paired with a shirtless-scared (but ripped) man, both officers of the law. How they ever managed to keep their posts, she wasn't really sure, but she knew there was one thing their superiors couldn't deny. They got the job done. They were dedicated, hard-working, and kept that crime rate down. So what if they could be considered a little... odd. Kaede-san stripped, and she... heh. She experimented with free love. She reminded him with a sweet smile, her more authoritative tone kicking in which completely offset her current expression.

Aaand there they fell. "Anywho what brings little old you to this neck of the woods? I could have sworn you where walking around 5th street and there abouts!" She paused in her step with a heavy sigh and scooped up his clothes again, carrying them folded over her arm as she caught back up once more. Baka. "After I got lunch I was on my usual route. Least until I noticed a certain someone's missing clothes lying about the park. Had to barter with some kids to get your jacket back." It was now that she reached out a hand and gripped his arm in a hold like steel, forcing him to stop before he got any further. This was going to bug her otherwise. "So I, being the good partner I am," she continued, pulling his shirt off of her arm and sliding it back onto him, moving his arms as she needed to. "Retrieved your uniform and set out to find you. I suppose it's just a miracle I didn't find you with your pants down hm? As lovely a sight as I'm sure that is." Another coy smile rose to her lips as her blue eyes glanced up at him, buttoning up his shirt and tucking it in as she spoke. Once that was in place, she slid his jacket on as well, obviously quite used to having to do this for him.

Ohh he'd tempt her....He'd tempt her all night long, hell he could tempt this woman for a week straight and still get nothing but a wink, a nudge and a flutter of eye brows!! It was like she enjoyed torturing him to his wits end!! Hell for all he knew she did...Some of her outfits where a little on the...domme side of things. All black leather, stiletto heels and a sense of latent, sexual power and aggression. All things told it was incredibly arousing for Kaede, but when ever he made an advance well....It just seemed to make the younger woman smile, wink and make another joke about his rather...odd tendency's. He honestly couldn't blame her for that though, she had her pick of men...And well she was his partner after all...It just wouldn't have been right!!In fact it was almost taboo for them to have any sort of...Personal relationship. The thought of that...Well it made his eyes glitter with mischievousness. The fact it was taboo...made the thought of it all the sweeter!! Thankfully one of them had some common sense!!

He felt her touch his bare back, tracing the pattern of his muscles....All in all it was a really....thorough...way to go about searching for a tattoo. "Why Kasumi....I didn't know there was something wrong with your eyes!!" He turned to look at her and winked. Ohh she loved to tease....That was the one thing he was positive about. It was the only thing he was positive about in fact. "No, no rubber ducks tattooed on your back. You are safe my friend. They might just be looking at you since, you know, you don't have your shirt on." Ohh come on!! There where plenty of people who walked around with out shirts on....Like.....Like....Okay he couldn't think of a single person(Other then himself) who walked around mostly nude(or completely nude every once in a while)."Well that's good news i guess...I don't think my manhood could take the hit if it had been there." He just barely caught the tone she was using...and had to smile even wider Domme indeed.

Well that was when she caught him by the arm...and began to put his cloths back on!! "So I, being the good partner I am,"Well wasn't this a change of pace. Most days woman where trying to get him to take more off...This was a rather...Nice change of pace."I honestly have to say Kasumi dear that this is the first time I've ever had a beautiful lady but my cloths back on.." He let her slide his shirt back on with out any sort of resistance, in fact her found he liked being...dressed by this woman....It was a rather unique feeling.

"Retrieved your uniform and set out to find you. I suppose it's just a miracle I didn't find you with your pants down hm? As lovely a sight as I'm sure that is." Ohh a lovely sight was it? He could only return her coy smile with a rather daring one of his own. As she finished tucking and battening his shirt he caught her hand and bowed a little to kiss it his eyes on hers."What ever would i do with out you looking after me hmm?" He straitened then and with a wink started back down the street."Ohh and Kasumi...If you ask nicely enough...im sure you could convince me to give you a little show.....and trust me my pants would be off faster then you could blink."

Oh now just how did he react to that little response hm? Hehe, it seemed to be the usual. She could just sense it roiling around beneath the surface. He may as well be rolling around on a table in frustration! He could plot, plan, soup up whatever kind of coup he wanted to, she knew she could out maneuver him. Men had so little ability to control themselves, and that is where she lived and breathed. In that lovely little twilight where they fought against what was "proper." Especially since she had a tendency to tease in daylight with people around. Witnesses were a handy thing, both for catching crime and.... preventing some. Teehee~ She caught that little gleam of mischief in those brown eyes, what was he scheming hm? Her inevitable demise, a roll in ze hay, catching criminals, stripping... Hell, it could be such a wide variety of things when it came to her partner. And that was one thing that she did like a lot about him, he could still remain a mystery. Or if not, then he was just so damned goofy that one couldn't help but laugh and go along for the ride.

Did she detect a shudder in him at her fingers as they slid around the skin of his back? "Why Kasumi....I didn't know there was something wrong with your eyes!!" Her blue eyes raised and caught the wink, chuckling as she sighed heavily, faking a little pout. "Oh Soshi-san.... It's this blasted light. It affects my eyes sooo much more than yours." She had to comment before giving him his answer, brushing a few stray strands of her bangs from her eyes. "Well that's good news i guess...I don't think my manhood could take the hit if it had been there." Ohhhh she knew that smile. She hardly tried to hide her love of riding crops and whips, or leather, and Kaede was one that she actually allowed to see/know that fact the most. It wasn't like she walked around the precinct in a corset, tall leather boots, tiny shorts, and long leather gloves with a collar. She knew it made most people... uncomfortable. Especially in the country that she loved and grew up in. Just like her love for a good lay. Sigh... What was a girl to do?

Obviously dress her partner. You know, that was something she hardly ever did. She was always the one getting men to take their clothes off, or women depending on her mood. Though women were much harder to convince and men could be so much more fun. Too much moody usually for her tastes. But their moaning was lovely... She couldn't blame men for enjoying that. "I honestly have to say Kasumi dear that this is the first time I've ever had a beautiful lady but my cloths back on.." With a smirk of enjoyment, her sapphire gaze met his once more, allowing a very faint tinge of color reach her creamy pale skin. Pfft, let her seem demure for two seconds at least. Compliments were compliments, she still liked to hear them and somehow.... They always humbled her. It was a weird paradoxical sort of thing that she could never explain. She knew she was hot stuff, and she did love to tease. But she didn't like to flaunt it like some of those bitches on television. Stupid celebrities, where in the world was their common sense hm? Absent. They had their own bubble. They didn't see what she and Kaede saw.

He had grabbed her hand, and this did cause her to pause and blink. No, she never got used to when men were gentlemen and kissed ladies hands whilst bowing. And it ALWAYS made her blush. .... Ok fine, he won this time. "What ever would i do with out you looking after me hmm?" She regained her composure as he straightened and appeared thoughtful, touching a finger to her chin while looking skyward. "Lets see.... You'd probably end up fired, running from the force, and then in jail. Or else a strip club as one of their boys." She concluded with another sweet smile, her heels clicking softly as she strode alongside him. "Ohh and Kasumi... She raised an eyebrow and turned her blue gaze up to him, her hands folded behind her back again, "If you ask nicely enough...im sure you could convince me to give you a little show.....and trust me my pants would be off faster then you could blink."

Her hand moved faster than he could probably blink, reaching up and cuffing the back of his head before returning to their spot at the base of her back. "I've seen how fast they can come off Officer Soshi." She seemed all miffed.... at least until she was about five paces ahead of him. She turned to look back at him, now her turn to appear mischievous with that little grin on her lips and glint in her eye. Chuckling to herself, she resumed glancing about the street but found nothing worthy of notice. "And besides.... shouldn't you be focusing on your job rather than your... little friend?" Ok, maybe she should ease up a little, but she may as well see how he would react to that.

Ohh the Sass on this one!! The light hurting her eyes? Im sooo sure!! she just wanted an excuse to touch him...To feel him...To get him all excited and leave him wanting more!! Oh what a wicked...and rather tasty woman she was...All he could do was chuckle, leer suggestively and and wink. Tis the only reaction for something like that!! Hell he couldn't act embarrassed!! that would just give her more ammunition...And force her to tease him more!! That was honestly something he wasn't sure he did or didn't want! On one had it gave him the most amazing (wet) Dreams, on the other...he was left with the worlds most awkward boner. What was a man to do? In his case he could just "loose" his pants and see what happened...It had happened before after all...That was food for thought......

He couldn't hep but notice the way his random and not so random complements seemed to fluster her more then any of his more overtly sexual comments. A bit of flush here and there, a small smile carefully hidden, in her own ways she was to easily teased...At least some of the time. It was hard to tell when she would take a complement....and when she would blush from them. It all depended on her mood...and that wasn't really easy to gauge.

Ahh yes he had such a complicated and complex partner, both lover*Snrrk* and fighter, and all in all a good person.....Err at least a morally up right person....Well.....He sighed then the word was good...Hi country's twisted sense of morality be damned. Hell she was a damn sight better then these so called morally righteous citizens. Some of the things he saw honestly made him sick. "Lets see.... Some times he felt helpless, he honestly couldn't control him self sometimes it seemed....

Well he just grinned, and some how stopped from snrrking...It took a lot of effort on his part."Well im glad one of us knows!!" It bugged him a little that he never exactly knew wen his pants hit the floor....it lead to some rather interesting situations....One would think a missing 5 pounds of gear would make it easyer to notice....saddly that didn't seem to be the case. She pretended it bothered her but as she turned to talk to him and he hurried to move back up to her. "And besides.... shouldn't you be focusing on your job rather than your... little friend?" LITTLE FRIEND?!?!?! LITTLE!?!?! Ok thas was taking it a step to far he had a ten inch monster!! God damn it!!"Little Friend?!?!?! Ill let you know i have a-------BANG!!!"" The sound made the rest of what he was going to say un-hear able

A gun shot....before the echo had even reached them,Kaede was searching for the source of the sound, his instincts kicking in. Where was it? Close. He knew that. It sounded like small arms fire, 9mm maybe 10....Not loud enough to be anything else. He saw it the a commotion at a store on a corner no more then 50 feet away. Thats when he heard the scream, his blood started racing as he ran forward, throwing caution to the wind, he knew KAsumi would watch his back...Just like he would watch hers. He didn't need to look, he knew she was right there with him, ready for action. He was ready for this....He was ready to dance to the sound of his bells.

Upon her conclusion of what would happen to him, as expected, he couldn't disagree with it in the least bit. His silence was proof enough of that. He knew that she was right. It made her chuckle inwardly, his grin making her own little mischievous smile grow. "Well im glad one of us knows!!" She had to laugh at that, the sound light like wind chimes singing in the wind. "It is imperative that at least one of us does. Otherwise our superiors would most likely wish to fire us. Or our subordinates would complain." Pfft, that was hardly a possibility with their underlings. They respected the eccentric pair, aaaand she would admit one of them had been a toy for a night. An iffy lay unfortunately. She made sure to give him tips.

In any case, Kaede quickly caught up to her, that trickster smile not leaving her face in the slightest. "Little Friend?!?!?! Ill let you know i have a-------BANG!!!" She froze at the sound of the gunshot, their little games instantly forgotten as her hand went to her sword. She did not care about that little saying of "don't bring a knife to a gunfight." That was bullshit. She was as alert as her partner, reaching a hand to her waist for their radio. "Officer Sasaki reporting gunshots fired at-" Kaede was taking off. She lowered her radio and immediately tore after him. "*skrrt* Units already in pursuit." Came the response, but she barely registered it as her radio was already at her waist again, her legs pumping as she ran after him.

There was a couple more gunshots, the sound of sirens in the far distance echoing off the buildings. Shit. As good as that was, it meant that the culprits would certainly move. A few gunman came into view, bags hauled over their shoulders as they fired at the security guards who ducked for cover. One wasn't fast enough and got clipped, his fellows moving to get him out of the line of fire. Her blade was silent as it slid from its sheath, her body getting pushed past Kaede towards those culprits who were sliding into their car. They had noticed the pair now and were turning to fire, tires squealing in the air as they sped off. "Cut them off." She called to Kaede, pointing to the alleyway off to their left as she continued after the car with her blade held at an angle to her body. They were in a car, there was little to no likelihood that she would catch up.

But they were focused upon this woman who ran after them anyways. The glint of her sword and sharpness of her gaze was something that could not be ignored. As she approached the security officers, she knelt down and gave them a look that needed no words. "Go." They responded offering her keys to a motorcycle not too far. "Officer down at the corner of...." Kasumi nodded once and took them, immediately running to the vehicle before sliding on. Her skirt at first provided some issue, at least until she cut a small rip and pulled at the fabric until she could sit without any problems. She now had a slit that basically went up most of her leg, but she didn't care. She could repair that later. For now, she started up the bike and the sirens, her sword sheathed for the moment as she too sped off after the robbers. They already had a good lead on her, but at least she now could compete in terms of speed. She could hear the tires scream as they rounded a corner, weaving through traffic until she too could round the corner after them. It wasn't hard to see where they had gone.

"Cut them off."

HE could only nod to him self when he heard her yell after him, he was already turning the corner into an ally way in hopes of cutting off the fleeing car, at this point they didn't need words to communicate in tense situations. They already knew what the other one was going to do....Like he knew that his partner was going to try and run down the car on foot, and hey she might just manage it....The girl was light on her feet!! As well as being as stubborn as a mule....That might have given her the advantage she needed to chase down the car, one just couldn't tell.......

Okay so back to running down a trash filed mine filed...Or err ally way. But really it might as well have been a mine field the way that everything was laid out as it was... Sprawled and tipped over trash cans, broken bottles and glass every where, and more then a few angry looking stray cats and dogs.....Ohhh the glory's of cop hood or what ever it was called.

So he sprinted down this mine field dogging teeth, claws, glass and hoping fences. It was actually pretty freaking cool all things told!! He felt like Batman or the Punisher right then, just and everyday man looking to make the world a better place, he would have laughed if he had the breath for it. But he didn't so the only sound he made other then the pounding of feet and the sound of his not so labored breath was the faint and ever present jiggling of bells....This was accompanied by barks, curses and shouts and yelling from those he passed by or kicked things out of his way,

He rounded the corner onto one of the more main roads as soon as the car he had been chasing came skidding and speeding around a corner down the block. He didn't have much time to think...In fact he had next to zero. So he didn't, he just acted on instinct and instinct told him to jump at the car.....

So he ran i front of the speeding automobile and just as it was about to hit him jumped some and slammed his shoulder into the wind shield just like they had taught him to do in the police academy. He tucked him self into a ball as he hit, allowing his mass to carry him and in a way protect him from the impact. It still hurt like a bitch, but nothing was broken.....yet.....

The driver was startled by the impact and couldn't help but swerve and hit the breaks sending the would be hero bouncing off the hood of the car and into the street....."Ummpfh!!!" the sudden impact on the ground drove Kaedes breath away and just then he hear a rather loud crash! He tired to stand and could just...manage it. He hurt...Allot.....But the car he had tackled was in worse shape....it had hit a power poll as it swerved after hitting the breaks.....And then it hit him...HE HAD TACKLED A FUCKING CAR!!!!!! AND WON!!!!!......."Man one.... Machines nill..." And thats when he started coughing up blood....Pain flew threw out hos body and his legs nearly collapsed on him, he hobbled over to the side walk and just about fell on the ground. He fumbled for his radio and clicked it on."Suspect in need of medical attention....7th street....Officer downnnn....." He coughed one more time, more blood coming up....He smiled then and took his shirt off.....and thats when the darkness came..."Man one....Machine......nill..." He would have laughed....but the sleeping cant laugh.....But the smile on his face said it all...

Faster. She had to go faster. Time was of the essence and speed laws could go suck cock like a starved whore for all she cared. There were advantages to having snagged a motorcycle because then she could just weave in and out of traffic without having to wait for them to realize that perhaps they should get the hell out of her way! As if they could hardly ignore the car that was screeching almost without control down the streets of normally city. She revved the engine for all it was worth, willing it to catch up to that car as she whizzed around the corner and swerved around a couple of bewildered pedestrians. She didn't even care to know of their stares of complete bewilderment. She was in complete and total case mode, the injured policeman only fueling her passion to catch these bastards even more than normal.

So thats what made the next moments so incredible, and so terrifying.

Her partner came barreling out of the alleyway, his bells cutting through the air as tires squealed and screamed in protest to how they burned across the tarmac. She felt herself start hitting the brake, her brows furrowing as her sapphire gaze surveyed the scene before her. Time was slowing as the knowledge of one simple fact cut her right to the bone. They weren't going to slow down. Then things were moving far too fast. "KAEDE!" She barked, but it was lost in the sounds that tore at the car, at the air, at her soul. His form had vanished from view as the car suddenly swerved and slammed into a pole. Time had stopped. She suddenly wrenched the handle bars to the side, the bike skidding to a halt as she propelled herself from it without a care that it went spinning out from beneath the lack of a driver. Only one thing mattered in the midst of this scene, and her entire being was praying for those dark thoughts of her mind to be wrong.

His voice sounded so separated to her ears as it came from her radio and in front of her as she ran as hard as she could to his side. She was too far, why did the road feel like it was stretching to keep her from her goal? Why was she so far away?! "I WANT A FUCKING MED TEAM HERE STAT!" She screeched with a frenzied anger and commanding tone that her father would have been proud of as she slowed to a stop by Kaede's side. "No, no, no don't you DARE die on me you son of a bitch... Come on..." She muttered as she wiped some of the blood from his lips, her heart beating too fast for how it tightened so inside her chest. She touched two fingers to his throat carefully, finding that it was still there, a rock growing in her throat. Good, heartbeat was good. God.... As she looked down to her chest, her face paled at the bruising that was already blooming all about his shoulder where the impact happened, gritting her teeth as her frustration began to rise with her anxiety. "You stupid fuck, why the hell would you do that?!" She snapped at him softly, her head shooting up at the sound of someone stirring inside the car.

Her katana was drawn, a gleaming extension of her arm that whispered death in its glint, her entire form seeming to become consumed in some other-wordly aura. They had brought out the demon in her. Those sapphire eyes did not contain a hint of mercy as they stared with the utter hardness of the stone they matched, her heels clicking with each slow step she took to those fucking bastards. "Out." She spoke in a low voice, her targets in her sights as they shifted in their respective seats. "OUT." She demanded again, her form becoming one with shadow as the click of guns broke the uncomfortable silence that had settled over their little stretch of street. They thought their puny guns would save them.


As soon as the driver reached his arms out to point his machine gun, her blade ate at his flesh, devouring the bones and ligaments so his hands went soaring away from his arms, his screams tearing at the air. But she did not care. Ducking down, his friend was slow to respond, blood rolling down his head as he now stood out of the car to look for this fresh policeman. She lunged as she rounded the back end of the totaled vehicle, eyes flashing as the tip of her katana stopped just in front of his eyes. Well he seemed to focus enough to realize the gravity of the situation, of what she would do if he so much as even moved any other way except how she told him to. "Gun. Ground. NOW." She hissed each word, her eyes never leaving his terror stricken ones. He slowly bent and placed the gun on the ground, the cries of his companion pouring into him like ice. Then their eyes met. "M-monster..." To him, she looked like an Oni, a demon standing there with blood clinging to her sword, her skirt ripped up to her hip, and her eyes. He would not forget them anytime soon.

"Thats right you piece of shit. Now get down on the fucking ground before I decide that scalping is legal again. And you better pray my partner will be fine or I promise you," Her face replaced her blade, hovering inches from his face, "There won't be a soul in heaven or hell who could find all the pieces of your corpse. Capiche?" Her voice was a strained whisper, not even bothering to stay to see his tiny tiny nod, her attention fully upon the paramedics that came to a halt on the other side of the scene. She sheathed her sword and strode out from the other side of the car to rejoin the unconscious form of her partner, her blood rage abated for now. "You get him to a hospital now, and you take me with you." Another team appeared and was shocked to find one of the suspects missing his hands, though his screams had begun to quiet. "But-" "DID I FUCKING STUTTER?! GET THIS OFFICER TO A HOSPITAL NOW!" Kasumi rarely screamed at anyone. The closest screams were ones of pleasure, and this.... was anything but.

Her hands trembled as she stayed at Kaede's side while they carefully loaded him onto a gurney, not even slowing as one of their subordinates came jogging up to her just as she was about to step into the ambulance. "Take a statement at the hospital. He was first officer on the scene, and he will give you all the details. Don't you dare try to tell me this breaks protocol. Am I understood? There is a suspect that will probably die, and one that has shit his pants. I want the live one taken into custody and questioned. If his partners lives, same deal. Go." The poor officer didn't even try to tell her otherwise, the back door closing before the ambulance raced off to the nearest hospital. Kasumi sat the whole ride beside her partner holding onto his "good" hand, her lips a thin tight line as she stared at him. Don't you dare.... Don't you dare leave me alone....
