Going to the Bar

Amethyst laughed and pretended to roll her eyes. "Oh geez, did you at least buy something we can eat?" The edge of her lip twitched into a smile as she couldn't help but grin at his sarcasm. Tightening her grip on her bag, she looked off towards his car, "Then shall we? I really would like a shower." She covered her mouth, hiding a yawn. It had been a long day. What time was it anyways? Scratching her neck briefly she glanced at the sky. Ten? Eleven? Maybe seven? She was awful with times. Her eyes rested on Jayden and she smiled reassuringly. "Shall we?" Slowly it began to pour and Amethyst pulled out an umberella from her bag, opening it.

Jayden shrugged. "I think I may happen to have some food at the house," He said with a chuckle, "But you never know, do you?" He grinned at his own sarcasm. When all else fails, be sarcastic! He nodded. "We shall," He said simply, unlocking his car and climbing in to unlock the passengers side door as well. His car was cheap and rather crappy. It was the color of rust, and the brakes made an awful groaning sound whenever he tried to stop or go too fast. It honestly looked like it would fall apart any minute, and more than a few parts were held onto the car with colored duct tape. The duct tape had been Jayden's idea, the colored duct tape, however, was Sam's doing. Jayden smiled again at Amethyst as he opened her door for her. "And so we're off," He said, still smiling. She looked cold. It was a good thing his car actually had air condition and heating! It wasn't the best unit, but effective all the same. As soon as she was in, Jayden started up the car and drove towards home.
