Valentino's heart raced as he sprinted down the busy street, skillfully dodging civilians that seemed to be sprouting out of the very ground. It was becoming increasingly difficult for him to keep sight of the criminal as he bobbed and weaved his way through the masses. He had tracked him all the way to Xing and wasn't about to let him slip through his fingers once again. Gaston Deroux, age 34 was wanted for two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder back in Gelemorte. Gaston had murdered his wife and oldest child and attempted on his youngest. Gaston rounded a corner, and ran down an allyway, Valentino chased. BANG! As Valentino rounded the corner Gaston was already there waiting for him, gun drawn. A white hot pain began to wash over Valentino as he felt the shell enter his abdomen. Instictively his hand clutched his stomach, quickly it became soaked in blood. His brand new shirt was ruined as well. Valentino fell to his knees, his body going almost numb from the adrenaline. BANG!BANG!BANG! Valentino managed to draw his weapon and squeeze off two rounds before he was shot in the abdomen again causing him to fall onto the ground catching himself with his hands. Gaston, fell to the ground gasping, a wet and bloody, agonizing sound; one of Valentino's rounds had hit him in the lung. Valentino was loosing a lot of blood fast, his head began to spin and began crawling towards the busy street that he had just come from. Moving towards the loud sounds that were now blending together, turning into utter chaos. He then blacks out.

BANG!.......BANG! BANG! BANG! Wh-what was that?! Lucrezia looked up from her home on the streets to find there was nothing out of the order there, but she knew too soon that there as trouble coming. A man with a gun, looking kind of dark and scary was holding a gun. Guns were bad.. guns reminded her of- She stopped and tensed watching blood spray with wide eyes. Having worked with people a long time, she knew the man was dying and her eyes simply watched on unable to move for a few minutes. She couldn't even breathe and then, she saw a figure collapsing in the distance. Another had been shot it seemed, or was he the original shooter? She didn't know the story, but Lucrezia didn't care.

Running over kind of sloppily, she found her hands moving on the man's body, a tall man in a suit who was bleeding profusely from his chest cavity. She had to work fast. Her hands activating the rings she had, the 'magic' she used. He was unconscious, but she could feel her own hands warm while the golden glow started. Her healing hands that began to speed blood creation, he wasn't going to lose blood on her watch. As the magi worked, she then began the process of curing him, removing the bullets and stitching him, with the help of her trusty medical case. Thank God she carried it away.

After about fifteen minutes of diligent working, Lu stared down at the man with concern, soft eyes covered with tear streaks. "D-don't die.." She begged. She couldn't take it if another patient died. She'd been a coward once and nearly killed a person and now, this man was in her hands. Could she pull through this time? Crybaby Lucrezia was sniffling and wiping her cheeks, begging the man to wake up. It seemed a while would pass until she cried herself asleep. Yeah, she was quite the person. Slumped over next to him, laying on her kit, was the lilac-haired woman. Her eyes closed and face still red from crying. caked with gentle tears cried, but near the man almost like a guard dog.

A-am I going to die here? he thought. A warm feeling began to bubble inside of Valentino's chest, which was stained with blood. It felt as if he had just drank a warm cup of tea, the warmth was beginning to spread. It was not like they said in stories, there was no white light, no tunnel, only darkness. Or so he thought. Valentino's eyes open slowly, the bright light of the city blinding him momentarily, turning everything white. Have I gone to heaven? Valentino's eyes focus, the city, a crying girl with lavender hair, Gaston. Valentino cannot take his eyes off of the girl, she is absolutely stunning! Its almost as if she radiates happiness and joy.

Sleep from tears. It was an odd thing that she was laying there, fast asleep from crying. Indeed, Lucrezia had a tenancy to cry herself to sleep, such the emotional woman. Her eyes closed off from the world, left her as one with the sweet darkness of sleep. The man, she hoped was okay, even in her dreamland, though the only motion in her sleep was the thoughts of sweets dancing. Her mind a blank slate though her clothes were stained with blood and though she hadn't a clue who this man was and where he was from. It was all still worrisome, Lucrezia was simply that kind of a girl.

Her hair covered her face with soft streaks on her cheeks that left her looking rather pathetic in her slump of a sleep. Like a child who was scared, and her case of medical supplies was the pillow on which she rested her head. Sweet sleep. It rejuvenated every weak muscle and eased each worried thought. Oh how she loved the feeling of opening her eyes afterwards. Her fluttered eyelids showed she was awaking after what was about half an hour later. Pure blue as the sky gazing around the world drowsily. She was out of it, a bit dazed and confused, but at last she was pulled to a sitting position by instinct and she smiled at the man. He seemed confused and lost so- She lunged forward and hugged him . "Ah! You're okay!" She spoke as her native Xingese, not knowing he wouldn't know the language.

As she pulled away, her eyes looked him over. That goofy smile was still upon her face, gleaming like the firefly she always seemed to be. She loved fireflies. Her knees tucked under her lap and her back straightened. Locks of bright white with tinge of lilac fell to her waist, giving her an oddest of looks. She certainly didn't look Xingese, but this is where she grew up. This is where she lived. It was her home, so through her blood, she was Xingese.
