~Canned Soup in My Heels~

Ah, if it wasn't time for the best part of his day; PERFORMANCE REVIEWS! Did I say best time of his day? No, I meant it was usually the most boring part of his day. I mean, there were PLENTY of better uses for his precious time! He could be writing articles for tabloids, which he could then deny later, as some form of conspiracy theorizing, or he could grow a moustache, or he could do the MOST important thing and find a suitable pirate crew to search for lizard people with him! But, alas, it was standard procedure. And, he was, in fact, in luck; today, no mooks were scheduled to be reviewed by him, rather, his Royal Dance- erm. Praetorian Guard, Valentino, was to be inspected today! And Valentino was such a friendly gentleman, he quite enjoyed the man's DEFINITELY UN-SNOOTY, UN-POSH, MOST OBVIOUSLY HUMBLE presence. As it was, while Mr. Farese had a rather smug personality, to some, and quite possibly to Wolfy as well, the Gelemortian sovereign never noticed it. At any rate, it was time for his reviewing, so Wolfy had, per privelage of the Praetorian Guard, invited Valentino to the locally famous "Délices Glacés de Julia," the best place to eat ice cream in all of Gelemort. Because even in the burning cold, ice cream was still delicious. Not to mention Julia, the great-great granddaughter of THE Julia, who founded the shop, also served up sherberts, milkshakes, slushies, popsicles, and nowadays even served cheeseburgers and roasted chicken and the like, along with hot drinks. Perfect for a good old fashioned meeting!

So he had obtained a private booth, set for the two, and was enjoying a splendid bowl of peach and cookie dough ice cream, when he saw a figure descending upon his booth, escorted by one of the waitresses. "Tino! Splendid see'in' youse, eme bredah! How's it hangin'?"
