The Lap of Luxury ( Lian)

The large two story house in Xianchang was quiet. There was no wild party today. Even though there was almost nobody inside of his house, it felt still like a a home. Valentino had given the staff the rest of the week off, it was something he always did after he had a wild party. They had done so much for him, putting up with his shenanigans and never gave him any lip for it; Valentino made a mental note to give them all sizable bonuses. Valentino sat on the giant fountain that sat in the middle of the foyer which had been turned into a champagne fountain the other night, but now it was just regular water. Valentino had no idea how much champagne it took to make it flow, all he knew is that he had asked for it to happen and it did. Sometimes, his power made him feel empty inside. Valentino sighed as he dipped his hand in the cool water, it caressing his smooth skin gently. It was just him inside of his house today, maybe he would cook himself a gourmet dinner or something, to take his mind off of things. As he got up from the fountain he winced a little as his bullet wounds throbbed, his hand clutching at his chest. Valentino began to make his way to the giant Food Network-esque kitchen.

The kitchen was full of various supplies, all of which were things Lian was familiar with. Unfortunately that didn't mean she understood how to use it. Her hands rummaged for the tools needed for baking. She needed to learn how to make something that was 'edible'. Most of coworkers claimed her cooking was questionable, so Lian took it upon herself to look into practicing. She didn't want the people to be confused by what she made. Her face was covered with flour, her hands in the dough as she tried to push the cutter through. Stars shapes were left and sprinkles placed on top, but still they looked questionable. Her lip quivered and she huffed. It was frustrating, the forth time she'd tried and failed. Hopefully Mr. Farese wouldn't mind her borrowing his kitchen. After all, she WAS trying to make them for him to try anyways. How she prayed these would turn out better than the last batches.

To his astonishment he heard noises in the kitchen which carried through the hallway. "I thought I told you guys to go ho-" Valentino said, almost startled by the sight of Lian covered in flour. "And what pray tell are you doing hmm? Making cookies eh? Valentino said with a chuckle, his deep crimson eyes, light with intrigue. When did she get here? Valentino quickly looked around the room, it was still in tact. Valentino smiled and made his way over the the large granite island in the middle of the kitchen and leaned on it, observing Lian's baking technique.

(Its fine, just doesnt give me much to work with...)

"And what pray tell are you doing hmm? Making cookies eh?" A voice came to reach her ears. Lian jumped nearly out of her skin as she didn't expect to be found. Her body spun quickly and purple met red. A guilty frown was on Lian's face. She should have asked. She really should have asked him if she could borrow his kitchen, but she thought she would have been done by then! Unfortunately life had a way of not working the way she wanted it to. Oh well, she could only be honest. "Y-Yes. I wanted to thank you for your help." She said, looking away. "A-And I know you're in a lot of pain, I thought maybe they'd help. Cookies always make ME feel better."

Why couldn't she look at him? Was he mad at her? Did she feel out of place with her actions? Her hands rested behind her back and the whole of her posture was passive, apologetic and sincere. "If you want me to leave, I can. I'm sorry, I should have asked." three times she bowed. "Sorry!" Of course at times she felt like a broken record. It was too bad she had nothing but the newest batch of cookie dough as proof of what she had said. "I can't bake though." Her eyes dipped. "I tried really hard, but all I've done is make weird tasting cookies." Her eyes teared up. Ah! The waterworks, why did she have to cry all the time? Absentmindedly, she wiped at her eye, smearing flour all on her cheek, dampened by salty tears. "Sorry," she repeated herself.

"Y-Yes. I wanted to thank you for your help." She said, looking away. "A-And I know you're in a lot of pain, I thought maybe they'd help. Cookies always make ME feel better." Lian said, her voice trailing of slightly as her head looked away. She was trying to ease his pain, it was harmless. Her hands slid behind her back. "If you want me to leave, I can. I'm sorry, I should have asked." Leave!? That is exactly the opposite of what Valentino wanted. He wanted nothing more than to be near her, to share in her laughter, her sorrows, to make her feel safe, secure."I can't bake though." she said, her eyes quickly glancing down. Valentino stopped leaning on the island and made his way around to where Lian stood. "I tried really hard, but all I've done is make weird tasting cookies." Not to Valentino's surprise her eyes teared up, but she wiped them quickly, smearing flour on her face which was then dampened by the tear.

Valentino slid his arms around Lian's small frame, pulling her close into his warm embrace. He got himself covered in flour! But strangely, he didn't care, it was as if the only thing that mattered at this moment was her, and he ignored the flour. "You dont have to cook or clean or bake for me to make me feel better, just you being here, with me, makes me feel better than I have in a very long time. It's okay Lian, its okay if you mess up, I will always be here to help you fix things that dont go your way. Valentino said, his voice was calm, soothing and full of emotion. It was just the two flour covered people, in a kitchen filled with failed attempts at cookies.

Her momentary sadness was swept away, as the man walked over. Arms wrapped around her body, pulling her close. What was that? Her heart hammered excitedly as she was pressed towards him. A hug that left her face reddened and her whole body felt almost terrified. That wasn't fear she felt though. A wave of dizziness rolled over her head and Lian was caught off guard. Normally she gave out hugs, but this was different to her.

"You dont have to cook or clean or bake for me to make me feel better, just you being here, with me, makes me feel better than I have in a very long time. It's okay Lian, its okay if you mess up, I will always be here to help you fix things that dont go your way."

A bright red colored her face and Lian was unsure how to react. The words were sweet and her heart skipped a second. Butterflies were fluttering through her stomach and she wondered momentarily if she was sick. Instinctively, she buried her face into his jacket, hiding the fervent color on her face. She could only reach up to his neck, shorter than him by a foot. So much emotion she could feel in her stomach, but why she felt overwhelmed, she couldn't be sure. It was as if her stomach was full of those little butterflies and they all desperately wanted out, but breathing didn't want to work. It was a few minutes before she could properly speak more than the initial squeak.

"I-Uhm.. Th-thank you." It was barely a whisper, through the rushing floodgates of emotion she couldn't exactly understand. She loved it, the feeling of him holding her, if only for a short bit. That was a feeling Lian wasn't used to. After a second she sucked back in a couple tears that tried fight their way through. Tears of sadness, tears of joy, she felt just too emotional. However all she could feel was relief while she smiled warmly up at him.

"I-Uhm.. Th-thank you." She whispered. Lian was warm, her warmth was warming his once cold heart. His heart was pounding in his ears. Lian looked up at Valentino with her perfect lilac colored eyes, and smiled warmly at him. Valentino had never held anyone as he was holding Lian now. It felt right. He was truly falling for this girl, it was not one of the flings he had experienced in the past, words could not express the depth of emotion he was feeling at this moment. Valentino wished he could hold her like this until the end of time. His crimson eyes smiled right back into her lilac ones. His eyes flashed to her lips, then to her cheek, and back to her eyes, studying her face, as one would study the finest of art. Valentino slid his hand up to cup the side of Lian's face, his thumb would wipe the remains of a tear from her eye. Valentino's heart began to pound even faster as he realized what he was going to do, nervous. How could such a woman feel the same way about you Valentino? Youre worthless Valentino, not worth of her or anyone else! His dark said screamed in his head. Valentino smirked inwardly at the thought, as if to say, "you dont control me anymore! Shut up!" Valentino would bend closer to her, going very slow to allow her to protest or back away, and not to frighten her, eventually if not stopped, he would kiss her softly, lovingly.

Eyes stare down upon her own. Those crimson eyes circulated, looking at her face silently. It was quiet and she could only feel her ears burn more. What? Was there something on her face? Other than the flour that caked her to cheek, she really didn't know what he could be staring at. It wasn't for a few minutes that she noticed the way his hand curved to fit her cheek perfectly. His face inched closer and she could see every detail about him. His eyes were almost entranced as he finally leaned completely in and warmth engulfed her. Softly her body meted. At first, her eyes were wide as saucers on her face, red brightly coloring her cheeks. It was new to her. As her heart hammered, she felt her body slowly slip into his. Her lips felt like magnets to his.

Breathing was a forgotten thing as the girl allowed for him to steal a kiss from her. Not long after, her eyes closed and those heated cheeks burnt all the more at the beautiful feeling of him holding her close. It was new to her, but it was also good. She felt in fire and yet comfortable at the same time. Hands slid up to rest on his upper arms, keeping herself steady. She felt weak, probably from a lack of breathing. It was all so poetic and something she'd only seen in a few moments. What did this even mean? Her hands grasped lightly at him, keeping him close, stealing a deeper intimacy. It was as if her very heart was bare, showing off her wild ocean of emotions.

The softness of Lian's lips brushed against his gently, molding to the shape of his lips but still retaining their own. Valentino felt very light, his head began to swim. It was light someone sent electricity through his entire body. Lian's hands rested on his arms, Valentino closed his eyes, savoring the moment. At this moment, it felt like nothing in the world mattered, whether or not he had money, or if he was insecure about himself or even if the world ended at that moment. It would be okay, because he was with her. Her hands tightened around the fabric of his shirt. Valentino opened his eyes slowly and pulled back only slightly, about an inch away, so he could study Lian's reaction, thinking about whether to kiss her again or help her finish making her cookies. Although, he would like nothing more than to kiss Lian more, he felt like he may be moving a little bit to fast for her, but then again maybe not. Valentino went back in, kissing her even more passionately than before. His insecurities melted away, so did time and space.

The moment continued for an eternity, but it was a wonderful eternity. Her heart beat heavily in her chest, excited by his sweet lips. She loved the way they felt, so perfectly place to her own. The butterflies were all bunched, making it almost impossible to exhale, but it was a time she didn't mind not breathing. She wanted to keep the moment rolling in her chest. She was engulfed by the moment, by him, by the way the whole moment played out. Her ears were on fire, her whole heart felt ablaze with a passion that slowly slipped away when he pulled back. A static still clung to her body, though and the whole moment was still attached to her. Her eyes were dazed as his peered into them, stealing glances into her very soul.

Then, he kissed her again. This time more emotions flooded into her mouth. Her digits rested on the back of his neck while she stood on her tip-toes a bit, trying to put as much into it as he was. Such an odd sensation that washed over her as she simply wanted to stay like that as long as she could. Her gentle submissing to his kiss, was only furthered by her pulling him closer to herself.

She reached her arms around Valentino's neck, standing on her tip-toes slightly in order to accomplish the maneuver. Valentino took his hand from her face and moved both his hands in unison down the sides of her body, back, hips, lower. Valentino's heart began racing, pumping blood everywhere in a frenzy, the soft body in his hands felt good. Valentino made sure to be gentle, his hands reflected this, moving slowly, squeezing ever so gently, moving her close enough that she could feel his pulse through her clothes. What was he doing? Who knew? All he knew was that it felt right. Valentino's tongue moved deftly, searching the inside of Lian's mouth for hers, so that they may dance the tango of love.

The hands roamed all down her sides. Resting upon her sides, pulling her closer. Her head was buzzing, her breathing staggered once again and she felt herself fall more into his hands. His mouth captured her own, and slowly his tongue slipped between her lips. Red colored more of her face and she submit further into the kiss. She was his hostage, to the passion he had. Her eyes closed once more and his own tongue slid to play with hers. She was unsure how to react to the muscle, but she didn't fight it. After a few minutes, she began to slide her own in a similar way. Was this is okay? Was she okay to do that? She didn't know for sure, but it felt too good to stop, really. Her cheeks heated even more, burning in her stomach. It was such an exciting situation. Lian had never felt that way before, rushing and crashing waves on the girl's heart. Her arms pulled him closer still, savoring the heat of his closenes.

Lian's tongue responded to its call to action and began the tango with Valentino's. Her mouth was so sweet, passionate and most of all warm. Valentino's breathing began to quicken, becoming more ragged, primal. Even though this was the first time Valentino had done anything of this sort it felt right, it felt as though he was doing what he was supposed to. Valentino broke the kiss, moving his head back slightly to allow his hands to move further down. His lips were still within kissing distance if she so desired however. Valentino's hands slid down behind her thighs and he would then scoop her up, positioning her legs so that they could wrap around his body comfortably, her arms still around his neck would steady her. Valentino would gaze into her loving lilac eyes, Valentino smiled. "Shall we continue this in my room?" Valentino said, his voice was low and seductive. His lips just an inch from hers, his eyes gazing deep into hers

There were hands roaming her body. Down to her hips and thighs, scooping her up and pulling her body to his own. Lian sparked bright red cheeks with eyes still a bit dazed and confused. What. what was all of this? The way his body gently carressed hers, how his voice seemed like it was longing. Her own body felt on fire from the simplest touches. It was so hard to understand. The kiss was broken again and her breath swept out in a gasp, mostly. She had forgotten to breathe while wrapped up in that kiss. She was taken over by it, sweet lips to her own, pulling her closer. Her legs instinctively looped around his waist, half afraid to fall. The other half just felt comfortable like that. Her light purple eyes rose to meet his as he spoke.

"Shall we continue this in my room?"

Lian was speechless. What did he mean? A few seconds of thought later and her cheeks were bright red and eyes wide.She felt entranced though, her arms looping around his neck for further support. It seemed like it would be uncomfortable to carry her like that, but he didn't seem to mind how odd it was. His crimson eyes were locked on her own orbs, seductive, making her blush a vivid red, even more than the shades before. Her heart was in a loop of skipping, jumping and stopping, all unsure of how to fully react. Hesitantly, her lips moved to meet his, curious as to the taste, enjoying the soft longing they brought. Just as soon, she broke it off, looking at him shyly. "I-If you want..." Her words were shy and stuttered, nervous to upset him, but loving the moment too much to just let it go.

Lian's body was very warm, heat radiated from her entire body, a warmth that he wanted to feel more of. Valentino's body echoed that heat, making it almost unbearable to have his suit on any longer. Purple met red in an intensity that one could only describe as a sunset. A fiery display of raw intent. Lian blushed brightly, setting her fair skin ablaze in a sea of red and pink. She moved in slowly, almost unsure of what she was doing, to kiss Valentino softly. This kiss was not like the long passionate kiss they had just experienced, it was more, anticipation, maybe some nerves? After the brief kiss she looked at him. [/color]"I-If you want..."[/color] She said shyly, and Valentino just smiled. Even now, Lian didn't want to convey her opinion, maybe because she feared that Valentino would be unhappy with her answer? Could that be it? In any case, he would find out soon enough. Valentino prepared the cage to his heart, either to trap her in it, or to seal it away, never to be seen again.

Valentino turned slowly, carrying Lian in his arms, careful not to jostle her too much. He traveled, swiftly through the large kitchen doors, up a flight of stairs and to his large room, all the while gazing into her eyes smiling. Valentino's large room consisted of a King Sized bed, with black sheets and light blue pillows. The light fixtures are modern and chic, the walls are painted a soft tan. Valentino made his way over to the large bed and would lay her down very gently. "Here we are." he said seductively, and sat down beside her.

Lian found her eyes pool into his for a moment. So much was in the moment. Her heart was beating heavier than a drum. His body shifted against hers, leading her down the halls and up stairs. It was so odd, Lian wasn't used to such a large place. Even the palace of Xing was big too, so many buildings that large unnerved her. Smaller buildings were the norm for her, the small one room bedroom houses that all sat on one floor and yet people like this man had houses two stories high, maybe more! Her eyes closed. Carefully, she buried her nose into his neck, sort of unsure how to react to being in the situation she was in. He climbed his way to the large room that Lian could get lost in. A bed the size of a car was sitting in the room. Lian couldn't believe people actually HAD rooms that big. It was almost the size of her whole house when she was younger.

"Here we are." His words were so gentle and hot on her ears, she couldn't help but blush deeper still. Gently, she nodded and looked up at him. He seemed almost lonely, but she couldn't blame him. Being in such a large room, by himself seemed like an almost depressing thing. "Y-You live in this room?" She stammered sloppily, still a mess from the kiss.

Tino smiled at Lian sweetly, holding her in his, strong arms gently. His heart beat had finally stop beating a mile a minute and he was kind of tired. He felt like he could lay on his bed holding her forever. It felt right. At that moment, he knew he loved her. It was strange, he had never loved anyone before, so how could he know what love felt like? All he knew was that he never wanted to be apart from her and that was good enough. His deep crimson eyes studied her perfect face. A gentle hand rose up to stroke her face gently. He offered a warm smile. Valentino's body was still slightly sweaty, his head still swam. He hadnt felt this good ever. everything I'd hoped, and more he thought to himself. "H-how do you feel?" he asked shyly.

Her mind was a whirlwind of a mess. Thoughts all blurred together with her vision to the point she had to gasp for breath. Her body tingled in a pleasureful sensation, mind in a rush of overall goodness. Her heart sped to a point it would nearly jump out of her chest. She loved the feeling, it was something she'd never experienced and it was beautiful. Her light purple eyes opened slowly. A dazed glaze rolled into her own eyesight, her heart slowing to a more reasonable speed. Her fingers move to an ease from clutching him so tightly. A feeling of heaven was everywhere, making the moment perfect.

She laid there, in his arms, loved by him, confused by the world, but pleased by how she felt and her own mind, Soft smiles were all she could give as she regathered her every thought and tried to throw it into a sentence. "I-It was-Gr-great." It was unimaginable. That kind of pleasure? it had existed? What an oddity that it HAD. She paused to take a heavy breath, before giving him a soft smile. Her fingers ran through the mess of his hair, enjoying him, his face, the way he stared back at her. Red cheeks were still there, blood slowly flowing back into place. She could think once more, but her mind was still frizzed by the wonder that had just happened. "A-And you're okay?" Her next words were only of habit. "How's your wound?"
