Head in the Clouds

What a beautiful day~ The sun was up high in the sky and the clouds were all floofy like big sheep or something. Look out everyone! The sheepies are gonna fall from the sky and- ahem...it was a beautiful day and that's all on that subject.

A blonde haired man made his way down the sidewalk quickly, this man being a certain Alder Finch. A strange, excitable, Gelemortian fighter pilot. Today was a wonderful day for flying! The bright blue sky and the fkuffy clouds would be a joy to tear through. Alder could almost hear the whine of his engine as he imagined it.

A nearby restaurant caught his attention. His whole reason for going out was his hunger. A man such as he felt it necessary to fuel up before flying. That way he wouldn't get hungry in the air. He tried to eat in his plane once. Didn't end very well.

Alder walked through the little gate that surrounded the outdoor area of the street side restaurant. Perfect place to gain some carbs! Alder plopped down in one of the metal chairs outside and propped his head in his hand on the table. "Hey waiter lady~ Yes you, gorgeous, come on over here. I'm starving! Alder flashed her a quick grin and a wink before letting his gaze wonder to the area around him.

Sure was a beautiful day. A few trees grew in the seating area, and a bar could be spotted inside the actual restaurant. Alder leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes in contentment. What a nice day today was.

Gelemorte. So boring, Pierce never really had much to do in this country. There was hardly any information to get. Why even bother going under cover here and snooping for info? The king here was a crack head or whatever. Honestly, Pierce didn't give two shits about this entire mission. She'd rather be at home and lazing about. Maybe have a guy that she picked up somewhere between her legs. Or maybe she'd be left to her own devices. That didn't sound bad either.

Today she felt a lot like her cousin Kelly. She hadn't accomplished any work, and so far has eaten a few of Gelemorte's delicacies. What else was there to do? Nothing. "Hey waiter lady~ Yes you, gorgeous, come on over here. I'm starving!" She heard a voice call out. Pierce glanced over and saw a young man grinning stupidly at a waitress. The waitress blushed and quickly went over, taking his order and going to the back to hand it to the chefs. "Perfect.. absolutely perfect.. the cocky ones are always so easy to fool..."

And just like that, Pierce had her target. The busty Xingese woman stood and walked over to his table. Heads turned all just to get a glance at the foreign woman. This brought a small smirk of satisfaction from her face. Stealthily, she slid into the seat across from him and gazed at him. He wasn't bad looking at all.

"You know, it's quite rude to harass waitresses when they're trying to work," she noted to get his attention. He seemed to be in a daze. Pierce would have to fix that.

Alder sighed in contentment. But man did that waitress need to hurry it up. Gosh, like ignore the rest of those hungry fools. Alder was more important. In some way or another, he was more important. Yeah. Anyway. Alder ordered his food, waffles to be exact. Because waffles were good at all hours of the day! Waffles were a fine delicacy that had to be enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Though apparently the waitress didn't much agree when she glared at him. What was her problem? Psh. Crazy waffle-hating-lady.

Alder peeked open an eye when he noticed someone had walked up to his table. "It's about time lady, where are my waf-?" Alder opened both eyes and leaned forward in his chair. Where the heck had she come from? Aw crap, Alder must have been in trouble. Yep, why else would she have come and sat down at his table?

"You know, it's quite rude to harass waitresses when they're trying to work," Well yeah, true, but Alder was hungry! That always called for rudeness. Yes. He looked her over. Wow was she pretty. Alder smiled at her and made a point of putting some of his hair behind an ear (only for it to fall back). "Well hello there, don't believe we've met! What brings a lady so fine as yourself out here today?"
