→ It is a tattoo of the transmutation circle located around Spade's belly button. When Spade is within reach however, he is skilled in various forms of martial arts, and can kick yours ass, literally. His fist feels like it's made out of steel from the honing of his physical abilities.

→ It is a tattoo of the transmutation circle on the palms of both hands and the soles of both feet. He usually always wears navy blue gloves, so no one can see them. He also wears a watch around his wrist which contains metal wire that is extremely durable and which normal scissors cannot cut.


→ It is a piece of paper he keeps in his wallet with the mixture packet.



BRIEFING:
→ The transmutation circle is an array of broken circles, swirling about each other in hopes of becoming one. In the middle, is an oval in which a line attempts to break it in half and fails. Just like the tenacious human mind that cannot ever be completely broken. This circle works against all elements, and everything else; there is no weakness to an attack on the human mind. This is both defensive and offensive. Spade must know every detail of the brain and everything it is made up of. He must be able to discern certain chemicals and nerves from each other in order for his technique to work.

→ A circle in which manipulates all solid objects. This one's specific usage is that of carbon and iron. It brings these two elements together to create steel. Spade must know the exact construct of the materials in order to create the perfect durable and malleable steel wires.

→ Spade knows everything there is to know about beer. He uses his hand-made packet and normal water to make his favorite beverage of all time.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
→ The brain is made up of an array of chemicals that cannot be easily manipulated with alchemy. Though no alchemist before has dared delve into this complex and dangerous world, Spade has apparently found a way. He spent approximately seventeen minutes conjuring the genius work of art that is his transmutation circle. The strange-looking drawing can hardly be called alchemy, but to the world’s surprise, it has proven to work. Spade focuses solely on the neocortex section of the brain that controls sensory perception, higher-order thinking, learning, and memory. Many alchemists before have attempted to piece together the confusion of the human brain, but they have always failed. What Spade does is he taps into the chemical balance of a certain enemy’s mind and changes it. In order to do this, he must be within seven feet of them and in deep concentration. But once he is, their perception is disrupted. Once light hits the retina, normally it takes one-tenth of a second for it to translate into an image, which then creates a neural delay to the brain. But it is said that the human visual system has evolved to compensate for those neural delays by generating images of what will occur one-tenth of a second into the future. This foresight enables humans to react normally to events happening in the present time, by typically seeing the future. Now, what Spade does is he rids the brain temporarily of this foresight. The result is that they would be thrown one-tenth of a second into the past, allowing Spade to dance at least one full circle around them before they register the fact that he is even moving. Unfortunately, if there are two people within seven feet of him, his alchemy will only work on one of them. In a recent interview, Spade reportedly said that he was planning on improving this defect, and perfecting his neural alchemy to utilize in the future.

→ It seems the general has developed something entirely new this time. He has veered away from his mind-alchemy and dabbled in a more solid alchemic style. Spade created a way to make steel from all objects containing any amount of iron. Such objects mostly include the Earth's crust, cement, brick, and other things. Simply by the act of touching said iron-containing object with his palms or the soles of his feet, he can draw in the element. At the same time, he breaks the bonds of carbon dioxide in the air, creating pure oxygen and the other main element of his alchemy: carbon. By combining this carbon and iron together, steel is born. But Spade usually does not construct swords, or spears; what he does is he makes a thin, nearly invisible wire. Pulling the wire from the wall, he is able to swing from them or ceilings. Spade's main ability is to wrap the wire discreetly around his opponent and choke them to death. He can send multiple wires at his enemy to catch them in a sharp net of eminent death. The steel wires themselves are very durable, so they don't snap regardless of the applied pressure. They are also nearly impossible to cut. Spade uniforms the properties of the steel wires to be extremely malleable and razor-like. Though he specifically make them so it take a certain amount of pressure in order to cut. Now, if the general were outside, using the bottoms of his feet, he could easily utilize the iron in soil to sent a multitude of steel wires directly at his opponent from under their feet. His alchemy's reach extends to about ten feet of complete control of steel. I even heard that on the off-case of there being no iron around, Spade wears a completely iron bracelet he can use in place. Also, he wears a watch on his left hand in which contains steel wires as an extra.

→ Now...Spade has done something rather idiotic. He developed a way to easily change water into beer. All he needs is yeast, sugar, and barley. It seems like a lot to carry around when all Spade would need to do is carry around a beer, but that is incorrect. What if there is no beer in sight?! This genius has come up with a way to change H2O into beer when there is no bar within reach. With a simple added mixture he always keeps in his wallet, Spade's special ground-up powder (containing yeast, sugar, and barley), he touches the side of the glass, bucket, mug, etc. and speeds up the fermentation process. Immediately, a personally constructed beer of rich, extremely high quality is produced.
