Day in the park Empty Day in the park

Post by Guest Sun Apr 25, 2010 10:19 pm

Labelisa slowly flipped the page in the book she was reading. She was in the park, sitting under a tree with her legs foulded under her self. She was reading blue blood, A book about the oldest vampires and there way of life. The day was calm only a few people there. a mother with her children, teenagers walking dogs, and old ladys feeding the birds. it was cool out, and the sky was slightly cloudly. Labelisa looked up as she felt a drop of water on her nose. She stood up and opened the umbrella she had at her side. she put the book in a bag she had at her side she stood up. Opening the umbrella she stood up and started walking out as the rain started to poor down.

Rain. It was a beautiful thing. In some cultures it is believed that the rain brings death or even life. In other cultures there has been the belief of a god for rain, sun, lightning, and most everything. If that was the case then what was Amane? Washe the god of the sword like some believed? Was he the god of thunder like others believed? No, he was simply a man with a gift. More than a gift he was a man with a talent at killing and a gift to understand things that regular humans couldn't or do things that regular human's can't.

He is a person with the ability to use alchemy. This is not something that anyone can learn but something that is given. In order to use such alchemy he has to know what he can and can not do. To do such things as make lightning or a pillar of earth he has to know not only the composition of such things but the versatility of them and the danger of them. For instance he has to fully know the danger of harnessing lightning or the danger of back lash from lightning.

Alchemy, by commoners, is seen as magic and often mistaken as miracles or even feats of impossibility. In reality Alchemy is the process of analyzing something, breaking it down, and then reconstructing it in to the desired object. For some alchemy is a curse. For others Alchemy is a blessing. And for the rest it is something that sets apart the race of humans and alchemists. For those people it is a sign of things to come and proof that they are better.

Amane was an alchemist and scientist no matter how much of a warrior he was. This set himself apart as a few of those command dogs the Amestrian's had. This made him the equivalent to State alchemists but he had something those dogs would never have and that was true warrior born honor. He made his way through the park and paid no mind to any as he trudged on.

Day in the park Empty Re: Day in the park

Labelisa shivered ever so slightly as the hard, almost icey, rain blew right under her umbrella. There was a strong wind out and it made her Shiver. The rain felt like small pelts of ice, whiping at the uncovered parts of her legs. she untied the her scarf from her neck and went to put it around her shoulders for better warmth, but as she did yet another strong wind blow and causedLabelisa's scarf to go with it. "oh no" Her small and fragile voice rang out as she abandon her umbrella, the scarf more immportant to her. Labelisa ran after it, going a fast as she could, But it didnt seem that she was fast enough. She triped and looked as her scarf got farther and farther away.

Day in the park Empty Re: Day in the park

In succession, several loud and deep thumps sounded as dirt, dust, and debris from the cement shot up in specific places. Other than this nothing could be seen or heard of what made them. Finally they stopped. The silence was astonishing but what appeared was a tall man in a silver coat. His hair was elegantly flowing in the wind and fluttering like a princess' dress.

The coat followed suit and it waved about in the same direction. He was facing to the right of the girl and caught ear of her words. As soon as he appeared he disappeared in the same rapid succession of sound and look. Leaving from this action were deep impressions as well as cracks in the cement. Just before the girl fell all the way to the ground the scarf disappeared but she halted her decent.

Amane was there, he had caught both her and the scarf. Almost in a near embrace he just stood there a moment with her in his arms. Finally after those heartfelt moments he gently stepped back and let her on her own to stand. He put forth his left hand which had the scarf clutched tightly in it. Also in his right arm was the same black cloth robe he had bought earlier.

After he gave the scarf back he then took off his long coat. Seeing as she was shorter than him it would cover her to her ankles most likely or at least around that area. He then offered that up as well. Finally speaking he used a kind tone still displaying a somewhat regal stature. "Excuse me Miss, now we can't have you go and falling now that we can't. Please take this and cover yourself from the storm. I will escort you home if you wish, so that you will not lose anything else that I will."

Labelisa closed her eyes tightly as she fell, getting ready for the pain to come. but it never did. She slowly opened her eyes, blinking a few times. "w-what happened, why did i stop?" she thought. she slowly looked up and blushed brightly seeing a man had cought both her and her scarf. she blushed more and more the longer he held her. finaly she calmed down and when he let her stand on her own. she blushed agian as she handed her her scarf and a cout. she tied on her scarf and sliped on coat. "t-thanks y-you s-sir" she studded with her shy voice as she looked at the ground.

"your quite welcome young Miss that you are. Please allow me." He said draping the robe in his other arm over her head to shield her head from the rain. As the wind blew he just stood there. After a few moments he backed up some and bowed slightly while he spoke.

"My name is Ichikawa, Amane Ichikawa. It is a pleasure to meet you Miss." He said as he walked over to her and put out his left arm to her. His intention, like usual, was to simply hold her arm of hand, which ever she chose to use. It was an old custom that still survived by Amane. He was like an older man.

If no one knew better they would say he has lived for more than 22 years. However he was taught everything by his now deceased Sensei of swordsmanship. Amane placed his metallic hand in his pocket and tried to hide the fact he had a whole auto mail right arm however it was most likely not going to fly.

It seems as of late that those he met found out somehow about his Automail arm, but then again it didn't matter. He didn't care about the arm. What he cared about was who he used to be and who he locked away many years ago. It was most likely that she would recognize his description but from so long ago she would not know or possibly remember who he was. Like when you hear about someone or see their picture and then you finally see them and you have no idea it's them.

Amane kept rather quiet other than what he already said as he was waiting for a real answer about weather or not he was to take her home. Never once has sex crosses his mind, even when he was being seduced he was still oblivious sometimes to that fact. But for now he would take her as the only thing to worry about at this moment.

Day in the park Empty Re: Day in the park

An Ishbalan alchemist is a rarity, something that has not been seen since perhaps the days of Scar. And if such a rarity has been recorded, those records have never been released to the public, for Xan knew of no Ishbalan alchemist except for himself. This made him possibly unique, and if not, then he could still claim the title 'rare individual'. Something else that is not seen often, though probably more often than an Ishbalan alchemist, is an Amestrian wandering in the parks and on the roads of Aerugo in the midst of a storm.

Xan's tattoo's were glowing blue, illuminating his entire body from head to toe and causing the rain around him to become like little falling sapphires. The reason that Xan's tattoo patterns were glowing was simple; he was performing alchemy, and his tattoos glowed while he performed alchemy, which was the only way that people could tell that they were even there. Using his gravitational alchemy, Xan had created a spherical field that the rain fell on and rolled off of, leaving Xan himself perfectly dry.

The gravity alchemist had simply been walking through the park on his way back to his hotel in Aerugo, when he saw the two strangers. (Label-chan and Amane-san)

Xan had been feeling bored for most of the day, so he decided to break the monotony by attempting to make some new friends. At the very least, he could hopefully earn a few moments of conversation to take his mind off of his boredom.

Walking over to where the man and the woman were, Xan extended his gravity field with a snap of his right middle finger and thumb to cover the two, keeping the rains from soaking them any further.

Pardon me, but I believe that I can help you two stay a little bit more dry, if it's okay with you.

Labelisa looked up as the man put an arm over her head and blocked the rain from getting her anymore wet. She blushed more "m-my name i-is labelisa, i-its nice to meet you as well amane-san" she said softly and smiled. she'd glad to meet someone nice here, everyone eles seemed to just see her as part of the senary, blending into the back ground. "o-oh i-id like f-for you t-to walk me home i-if its n-not t-to m-much trouble" she said, her voice losing its studder for a moment but then it coming right back. it was then she noticed a nother man walk up and snaped his finger, and the rain stoped falling on them "what are these guys?" she thought blinking, also feeling short for her age around them...

Day in the park Empty Re: Day in the park

Amane stood there and eyed the man by his peripheral vision. He dis tasted most men and how they acted. So far this new stranger was still one to prove his worth of Amane's respect. Amane simply pointed his hand towards the man and stood there. He spoke softly and kindly to the woman. "Cover your ears." As he said that his glove shred apart and a loud chirping sound could be heard. It was continuous and loud, really loud. It was almost a sure fire shot to say that Labelisa thought that Amane and Xan were either gods, Demons, or simply prophets. They were none of these. They were in fact a rare breed of human cursed with the ability to shift the natural laws of nature. Xan was an even more rare person being Ishvallan and on top of that a gravity alchemist. It would prove hard to work with as a combatant indeed. The chirping died now and so did the glow that aminated from Amane's hand. He then walked in front of Labelisa and kneeled down as he spoke. "I am truly sorry if I startled you that I am Miss Labelisa." After he stood back up and not said a word to the stranger. He was giving him the benefit of the doubt but if he crossed the line even slightly Amane would battle instantly. It was almost as if his hate for almost all men was leading him astray from his regalness. He quickly regained that regal stature and spoke. "I apologize sir that I do. I openly have a distaste for most men as they are not honorable. I meant that action only as a warning."
