NAME:
→ T-Hip.
→ S71.
→ Vorkuta.
→ Pazhar Revolver.

TYPE:
→ Aircraft.
→ Aircraft.
→ Explosive Ordinance.
→ Firearm.

FORM:
→ Helicopter Gunship.
→ Twin engine Jet-Bomber.
→ Grenade launcher.
→ Double Action Revolver.

...........................................................................

BRIEFING:
→ T-Hip: Developed from the basic B-Hip airframe, the T-Hip was fitted with the larger TV3-117MT engines, rotors, and transmission developed for the C-Hip, along with fuselage improvements for heavier loads. Optional engines for 'hot and high' conditions are the 1545 kW (2070 shp) Isotov TV3-117VM. Modified for use in high mountains have the new KV-2500 version of the engine with FADEC control.

The T-Hip can be recognized because it has the tail rotor on the port side instead of the starboard side, and dust shields in front of the engine intakes. Engine cowls are shorter than on the TV2 powered B-Hip, not extending as far over the cockpit, and an opening for bleed-valve outlet is present forward of the exhaust.

Actual model numbers vary by builder, engine type, and other options. Modifications include a new large door on the right side, improved Pavilgrod-built APU, Kevlar armor plates around the cockpit area and engines. Eight have a loading ramp in place of the usual clamshell doors, and will load a vehicle up to the size of an SUV.

It has been modified as well to act as a gunship with wings sticking at the sides, with rocket ordinance made to destroy APC's been attached. Though it lacks a designator, the pilot of this vehicle is skilled enough to accurately pull off shots with a sufficient sway.

It has been modified by Marynia to also have a hot tub and an auto-piloting feature with a primitive AI she got off of the scientific board, for it to travel to the destination without collision. Also to involve hooks to carry Zinaida in her bulky suit. Along with two (RPK) machine guns on the side where the doors in the instance there should be a defending instance.

(For references, look up Mil Mi-17.)

→ S71: The S-71 has a large swept wing and two large Mikulin AM-3 turbojets, one in each wing root. It could carry a single massive FAB-9000 9,000-kg (19,800 lb) conventional bomb or various explosive ordinance to a range of around 4,800 km (3,000 mi).

Although the S-71 began as a high-altitude, free-fall bomber, in the mid-1950s it was equipped to carry early Drachman cruise missiles. The S-71 version could carry AS-1 missiles over a combat radius of 1,800 km (1,125 mi). These very large weapons were aerodynamically similar to the Tee fighter, fitted with either a nuclear or conventional warhead, had a range of about 140 km (90 mi). They were intended for use primarily against large surface ships. Subsequent S-71 were converted to carry later, more advanced missiles, while their designations changed several times.

Marynia pilots the more advanced S-71 fit for operations of Kuvalda. Having had been made for the crew to be placed into capsules meant to be dropped for a crash, but for the inhabitants for the capsules to be safe from the shock of the crash from the numerous cushions and such measures inside.

It has a turret put into place, that the pilot could use, or the gunner from a computer at the back compartment in the bombing bay. Marynia meanwhile installed a couple of things in the cockpit as one cannot go to the cockpit from the bombing port and vice-versa. And the passengers are often carried from the bombing bay within capsules, all uncomfortable, though Zinaida herself only gets to be in her own suit.

Marynia also has a fridge, an auto-pilot feature and a warmer along with a TV installed in the cockpit, a mini-TV that the radar screen can be converted into upon a push of a button.

The aircraft carries dumb bombs made to puncture through bunkers, but due to the shortcomings and some sacrifices made, the bombing bay mechanism cannot go for a bombing run, rather one bomb every minute.

(For real life references, look up Tupoluv Tu-16 Soviet aircraft.)

→ Vorkuta: The VORKUTA is a multiple-shot weapon, intended to significantly increase a small squad's firepower. The VORKUTA is designed to be simple, rugged, and reliable. It uses the well-proven revolver principle to achieve a high rate of accurate fire which can be rapidly brought to bear on a target. A variety of rounds such as HE, HEAT, anti-riot baton, irritant, and pyrotechnic can be loaded and fired as fast as the trigger can be pulled; the cylinder can be loaded or unloaded rapidly to maintain a high rate of fire. Although intended primarily for offensive and defensive use with high-explosive rounds, with appropriate ammunition the launcher is suitable for anti-riot and other security operations. A newly patented modification allows the VORKUTA to fire less lethal (very low pressure) rounds.

The VORKUTA grenade launcher consists of a lightweight, progressively rifled steel barrel, sight assembly, frame with firing mechanism, spring-actuated revolving cylinder magazine, and a folding stock. The weapon has a fire selector safety switch just above the rear pistol grip which can be operated from either side. The launcher cannot be accidentally discharged if dropped.

The launcher is loaded by releasing the cylinder axis pin and swinging the steel frame away from the cylinder. The rear of the cylinder (including the pistol grip) is unlatched and pivoted counter-clockwise to expose the chambers during reloading. By inserting the fingers into the empty chambers and rotating the aluminium cylinder it is then wound against its driving spring. The grenades are then inserted into the chambers, one-by-one (because the cylinder cannot be removed), the frame closed, and the axis pin re-engaged to lock. When the trigger is pressed a double-action takes place and the firing pin is cocked and released to fire the grenade. Gas pressure on a piston unlocks the cylinder and allows the spring to rotate it until the next chamber is aligned with the firing pin, whereupon the next round can be fired. If a misfire occurs the trigger can be pulled repeatedly.

Usually Marynia carries her grenade ammunition around in a bandoleer. Typically 12 of them to load up individually. (For references, look up the MGL grenade launcher. The South African one.)

→ Pazhar Revolver: The Pazhar non-gas seal revolvers have a small gap between the cylinder and the barrel; the small gap between the cylinder and barrel is necessary to allow the revolver's cylinder to revolve, presenting a new, loaded chamber for firing. This necessitates that the bullet jump the gap when fired, which may have an adverse effect on accuracy, especially if the barrel and chamber are misaligned, and also presents a path for the escape of high-pressure and high-temperature gases from behind the bullet. The Pazhar has a mechanism which, as the hammer is cocked, first turns the cylinder and then moves it forward, closing the gap between the cylinder and the barrel. The cartridge, also unique, plays an important part in sealing the gun to the escape of propellant gases. The bullet is deeply seated, entirely within the cartridge case, and the case is slightly reduced in diameter at its mouth. The barrel features a short conical section at its rear; this accepts the mouth of the cartridge, completing the gas seal. By sealing the gap, the velocity of the bullet is increased by 50 to 150 ft/s (15 to 45 m/s).

However, success had its price. Pazhar revolvers had to be reloaded one cartridge at a time through a loading gate with the need to manually eject each of the used cartridges, making reloading laborious and time-consuming. In the end, it is nothing but a backup weapon in the event that if grenade launchers didn't kill, or if stealth had to be used with the special bullets made to make shooting silenced, it would be the right pistol for the job. (For references, look up M1895 Nagant Revolver.)

SPECIAL ABILITIES:

→ Because of Marynia's capability to escape danger alive, typically from aircrafts. Usually when it explodes, a helicopter or an airplane, one would think Marynia is dead. But then turns out Marynia would bail out JUST in time to having survived unscathed, with a parachute on her having been drawn open. Can be used once per aircraft and the aircraft has to be destroyed or damaged grievously to a point it may no longer function well enough that it'd crash.
