BRIEFING:
→ That gun is a semi-automatic delayed blowback pistol chambered for AMN 5.7×28mm ammunition. The pistol appears hammerless, but it has a concealed hammer. Polymer materials are used extensively in the pistol's design, and even the steel slide is encased in a polymer shell. In addition to providing reduced weight and greater resistance to corrosion, this also prevents unwanted light reflection. The slide's polymer shell gives the pistol the appearance of being constructed entirely of polymers, but the slide interior, barrel, trigger, springs, pins, and similar parts are all steel. The pistol overall is noted for being unusually lightweight, weighing only 744 g (1.64 lb) with a loaded 20-round magazine.

Known as Seven Five, it is a full-size pistol, having an overall length of 208 mm (8.2 in) and a height of 145 mm (5.7 in) with the standard adjustable sights. The pistol has a max width of 36 mm (1.4 in). She got it from a Security Officer when he wasn't looking, playing around with it, pocketing it, and forgetting she had it... until she got to the ship and the dreaded "meat bun incident" happened.

→ The nanobots aren't made for military purposes whatsoever but for another purpose, it wouldn't even be classified as a weapon even then. Merely a tool to remove pollution. But it does have a few kinks that to this day, Avila has NOT fixed up. Basically, they are nanobots that function at least on the surface, similar to germs in practice, they can go airborne and would spread around to latch unto the targeted materials they are meant to eat off. Mostly petroleum and products made from it, with the unfortunate side-effect of all attaching to cotton, cloth and silk, recently wool has been removed so wool wearers are safe. Because it is airborne, typically if, when in a vial, it is broken, it will immediately spread into the air, and hibernate within the fabrics, or petroleum, or just their products.

And upon a snap of a finger, or a whistle, even in music, it would then proceed to devour those named materials without hesitation. Until the bonding would be devoured, and there is no more to devour in the vicinity of 10 feet, that the nanobots would expire.

And because of that, they are always kept in capsules. And there is a disabling module within Avila's computer, or PDA, which would turn the nanobots off. But they can be turned on again, typically she'd recommend bleaching them off, and shaking the clothing so it would be gone, usually in the form of blowing unto them. Otherwise they'd just lay dormant on the material.

Waterproof little buggers. But may be overloaded. In the end, there is not much military application with the nanobots, besides making the enemy freak out from the garments lost.

It is precisely for that reason Avila wears leather, and also tends to place emphasis on nobody getting into her stash. She makes the nanobots after all, and usually carries about 10 capsules around her flimsy and weak belt worn on the straps. All are about a foot long and half a foot at width.

→ The nanobots devour clothing and destroys pollution in the air? That's pretty much it. Has a range of 10 feet, if they finished devouring from one source, otherwise when the capsule is broken, it has a range of 30 feet. And would actively seek out the mentioned materials to break down.
