DESCRIPTION:
→ Hagen looks dominately Xingese except his most notable feature of white hair that is layered and somewhat shaggy and something he actually kindof rolls out of bed with and somehow it looks good. His eyes are dark brown to the point they are almost black. His skin is pale and he is rather short and thin, though he doesn't particularly do much. He has a tattoo on his back that allows him to do his Alkahestry. He enjoys wearing white and they are usually baggy clothes. He usually wears a rather large white hooded sweatshirt. and white sneakers. Actually, all he wears is white. There is never any color in what he wears. And his clothes are usually somewhat dirty but not all that much and occasionally torn in some places. His clothes are usually pretty simple and not all that expensive.

His mannerisms include twisting his hair around his finger and chewing on his lips to the point of them bleeding but mostly the injury is on the inside of his mouth so nobody really notices. Both of these are nervous habits. He walks with a slight hunched over look with hands in his pockets. When standing still he leans his weight on one side and uses the other leg to hit the toe of his speakers against the ground and alternates. His expressions are usually minimal except when in one of his '7 year old' moods, when his expressions are highly animated, which also occurs when he needs to. His voice is nothing particularly special. He sounds like a 12 year old boy, his voice cracks from time to time, and usually is somewhat bored sounding unless the situation calls for more tone or he is in his '7 year old' mood.



PERSONALITY:
→ Hagen is a complex boy of 15. He can honestly be called REALLY immature and yet mature at the same time. His immature aspect can reach to ages below his own. To the point where he enjoys playing with childish toys and games but yet does it in an odd way that shows his rather adult intelligence and his rather corrupt mind. His favorite game being chess, a game at which he excels. Another showing of his immaturity is the face when he doesn't get his way, which he usually does, he will pout and whine childishly until he gets his way. To the point he has been known to throw the occasional temper tantrum which usually ends up with a lot of people injured as he can get rather violent during these times.

Though he can be rather immature he does have his moments where you forget he is only 15. He is well behaved mostly and polite, he speaks rather intellectually and has his own well thought out political views. It is very easy to hold an adult conversation with him; there is rarely a moment when he has to request you explain something but it does happen. In this manner he is also rather corrupt as he will lie and cheat his way into people's favor to get what he wants. He also has nothing against stealing anything and has become quite the master pickpocket and shoplifter.

Hagen is manipulative and rather sadistic by nature. He can be rather violent and can seem rather crazy about it, to the point he will laugh while stomping on somebodies face. In fact through most of his immature moments his emotions a explosive and highly open. But during his mature moments he faces most things with a straight face and a calm even tone, showing minimal emotion. He isn't a particularly energetic child for that matter, but once a blue moon he will have his hyperactive outbursts where he can be particularly clingy and want to play games and stuff. Those who watch over him around there times get this handful of child who seems to lose most of his intelligent maturity. Actually, he can get quite clingy to those he gets close to.

Around strangers though he is nothing manipulative. He will go out of his way to asses what it would take to buy into people's favor. He will steal from them and be as nice as he needs to be to them to get whatever he wants from them or whatever he could possibly need in the future. though he does appreciate having friends and loved ones and is rather affectionate with the ones that make it there. But growing up where it was hard to trust people, it is rather hard for people to make their way into his favor. But once done he may still manipulate you a tad bit but nothing too major and will do pretty much anything to keep you around. The only thing he hates more than not getting what he wants is losing people he likes.

HISTORY:
→ Hagen was born in the Amestrian slums to Yuu Brandt and Linda Murinyo, an unmarried couple. As a baby he was rather unhealthy. He experienced pneumonia and other common infant illnesses. Several times his parents almost lost him, trying the best they could to pay for him to get better. Eventually he did stop getting sick but afterwards was a rather quiet baby. Never really cried, never really made noise. It worried them though the doctor said it was nothing to worry about. After he grew out of being a baby and into being a toddler he was the usual smiley clumsy toddler. Didn't really make a whole lot of noise then either. He also picked up things quickly.

After he got older and entered school that was when everything went a bit downhill. he was bullied and his stuff was taken all of the time. And this was only first grade. He was made fun of for being smaller, he was made fun of for wanting to read instead of play with the others, he was made fun of for talking to the teacher more than he did other students. Then during summer break he decided he wasn't going to take it anymore. So as soon as he got back to school, he started to defend himself. And as the school year progressed he began to be the one to cause fights, then to the point he was the bully. And he loved it. As he got older he just seemed to get more violent for seemingly no reason. He was already on top yet he wanted to push others down more and more.

When he was in the 3rd grade his mother left him and his dad to return to her ex-husband. His father was crushed and Hagen fed off of that and began to his more and more of his emotions regularly and took on the housework such as cooking and cleaning. And since they had the bare minimum of money he began to notice. And the more he noticed the more he wanted to do something about it. And when he wasn't at home taking care of his father he was at school teaching himself how to manipulate people into giving him their lunch money or just stole it from them when they weren't paying attention. He continued to do this and secretly adding this money to his father's cash jar. Luckily his father never noticed.

Now in 5th grade Hagen picked up smoking cigarettes he stole from people. And he was pretty good at it so he always had a steady supply of cigarettes and money. He bought himself new clothes and his father was still a bit too distracted by his mother leaving him that he never really noticed these changes. And even when he did Hagen was able to lie and manipulate him into believing excuses with no issue. He was a master liar. So he got away with pretty much anything. He also began to study some books his father had on Alkahestry laying around. That was when he began to develop that skill. He also became increasingly interesting in learning languages.

In 8th grade Hagen went even more downhill. He was suspended from school for slamming a kid's head into a desk and breaking his nose. His grades were terrible from the lack of effort and eventually he made the oddly enough easy decision to runaway from home. He was smart enough to avoid being taken back and always found a way to break into places and steal enough for food, new clothes, and shelter. And he somehow always got away with being a lone 15 year old in a hotel room. How? He was a great liar. But after he ran away he was not only more mature but he began to develop a part of him that craved the childhood he felt he never had. So while part of him was rather adult, another part of him was stuck at this mental 7 year old state. Some of the money he stole ended up buying him toys and stuff. And another part of him was extremely lonely. Also around this age he got his back tattoo. Easy enough being him on the streets. This is the time he tried to practice he Alkahestry he had read about. It was a trial and error and there were plenty of times straight up nothing happened when he tried for it to. But he was persistent and kept trying and trying. On people.

And that was when he left Amestris as a stowaway and ended up in Gelemorté. Living on his own rather well. Somehow. He has figured out the Alkahestry skill by now but is still persistently practicing and trying more. Agaun, on people.

I am a bit iffy on the age. There is a fine line between good story and just excuses to be young and rebellious, and I think you might've crossed it with a 12-year old. A 16-year old, maybe, but a 12-year old... just no. Even with superior intellect, it'd take some time to teach yourself Alkahestry and become the sort of kid you've put Hagen up to be.

Really, it's just the history and the age that I'm iffy with. Think about making him a bit older, and not having all of this fucked up violence occur so early into his life. At his age, he ought to be in a mental hospital and under permanent care. Serious reconsideration required, please.
