One Day in Havana [Open] Empty One Day in Havana [Open]

Post by Guest Thu Jun 28, 2012 12:02 pm

The sun, sitting high within the skies above the small city of Havana, shone down harshly onto the scorched land that surrounded the male upon his rock. To his left, a street with the occasional rusty vehicle puttering along. To his right, a long expanse of sand and the ocean blue. Unlike Malos, this city was nice and carefree--a place that one would even call peaceful. One leg hanging down off of the rock and an Esparian Guitar in his hands, the male's fingers were moving quickly, up and down the strings; playing a song for all to hear and watch. He'd gathered quite the crowd--luckily for him, most of them had little idea of what Transmutation Circles really looked like, so he could easily have his tattoos exposed into air. Even if he wasn't an Alchemist, he would still need to be careful of such things. Smiling softly, the man tilted his head back slightly and began to sing words into the air.

"Soy un hombre muy honrado, que me gusta lo mejor.

Las mujeres no me faltan, ni el dinero ni el amo..

Jineteando en mi caballo, por la sierra yo me voy.

Las estrellas y la luna, ellas me dicen donde voy~"

As soon as he reached this part, the group that had gathered joined in--"Ay, ay, ay, ay! Ay, mi amor. Ay mi morena, de mi carazon." As the song continued on and Vito's voice grew in volume, more and more people started to gather around him, singing the chorus when it came around. As the eventual end of the song started to come around, Vito began playing the guitar itself at a faster rate, eventually bringing it up to a crescendo and dropping it down to nothing. After claps from the people that had gathered, Vito slid down off of the rock and watched them leave with a smirk across his lips. It was always fun to sing to a small crowd; especially with his trusty guitar. Yawning somewhat, he decided that he was hungry and would go to visit any nearby caf--there we go. Slowly walking towards the open seating area, the male would wander into the building and head straight for the counter. What to eat today...?

One Day in Havana [Open] Empty Re: One Day in Havana [Open]

Ah, a beautiful day in good old Esparia! While Molly was generally the most Creig person you've EVER met, she was also half-Esparian, and so she came to her mother's birthlands now and again. Esparia DID have beautiful music, as it happened, which was one thing she was enamoured to Esparia for. Speaking of this lovely music, she was walking down the city streets of Havana when she caught sight of a man playing guitar and singing. As she listened to the song, she noted the crowd start to sing along, and she couldn't resist the burning desire to follow suit. "Ay, ay, ay, ay! Ay, mi amor. Ay mi morena, de mi carazon." And as the song came to a close and the crowd dispersed, she too moved away, smiling. Thankfully, nobody in the crowd had particularly noticed her, despite her B-list celebrity status; those that had her CDs wouldn't have recognized her with a pair of mirror shades on, and a red blouse with a white skirt, instead of her usual woman-kilt. In fact, she was even without her trademarked Mollytar at the moment, choosing instead to carry a shiny golden fiddle on her back. Aye, this WAS the legendary golden fiddle she claimed from Lucifer himself in Georgia, Creta that fateful day!

But indeed, she carried this fiddle, and her bow, as she skipped away from the small show, heading off to find somewhere to eat. After searching with vigor, she finally stumbled onto it; a café not too far from where she'd been, actually. And as she entered, she noticed who was ALSO present; that guitar guy! After he ordered whatever he ordered, she smiled over at him, standing next to him. "Hello~ I saw you performing over there, and I have to say, it was pretty awesome! My name's Molly." Glancing at the menu behind the cashier, she ordered a cup of coffee and a doughnut, before glancing back at the guitarist guy with a smile. Ah, other musicians always made Molly happy!

"Hello~ I saw you performing over there, and I have to say, it was pretty awesome! My name's Molly." Hrn? The sunlight quickly flashed in his eyes as he turned his face to see the person that had most certainly spoken out to him. She had said that he was performing, therefore it must have been him, right? Smiling softly, the male looked calmly at the woman who spoke out to him. She had already approached him; there was no reason for him to ignore her, however he would not speak directly to her yet. Returning to his own Tequila Sunrise and small sandwich, he picked the glass up and brought it slowly to his lips, taking a long and simple drink from the glass. Those lips twisted into a soft smile as he returned the glass to its position. As it stood, he was not armed. There was no reason to be--he was not expecting a fight, and he was certainly not expecting to have to kill anyone. Therefore, there was no reason for him to worry. Internally smirking, Vito finally returned his gaze to the red-headed woman, making sure to avoid the glare of the sun this time.

"Vito, if you must know. From your accent, I doubt that you are from around here--but the command that you have of the language belies that. It is an interesting thought to have." Grinning, he looked up at the roof of the establishment--an overhang, one that sat over and protected them from the sun that would be in the sky in the middle of the day. Despite the heat, Vito was not wearing much less than usual--if for maybe a weight reduction from being less-armed. "That said, your heritage neither bothers nor interests me. You... have a violin, I see. Or is it a viola? It is certainly no violincello, that is for sure." He laughed softly, looking back outwards. "I may have little musical knowledge, but I am only skilled with this guitar. Any more, and I might have to give up some other skills that I have..." Laughing softly, Vito attempted to let this woman in a little further--she seemed nice enough.

One Day in Havana [Open] Empty Re: One Day in Havana [Open]

Heat burnt down Blas' back. The burning fire that warmed his whole body though all i t was, was the sun watching him from a distance. With blue eyes taking in everything, he hummed a song in tune to his MP3 player. Shuffle left him in some sort of classical music, but allowed his vocals to simply move with each different note. A musical staff that he graced with his somewhat out of tune humming. Blas was no singer, but he wasn't TERRIBLE either. Not the type of voice that made people claw at their ears to stop the bleeding, but not the type you put your children to sleep to either. It was merely one that was listened to with a slight grimace and a sort of 'meh' voice.

Luckily what he lacked in grace and voice, he made up for with his well-toned body. Obviously a man who trained, ate well and dressed relatively well. After all, being the 'heir' to his great uncle's money let him dress well, no matter how many repercussions it took. His uncle wasn't kind, curfew hours were early, getting up was early. Any spare time he had was minimal at BEST and in fact, he wondered how he even managed to have fun between studies, training and work. His outfit today was a simple tight white shirt with a pair of dog tags on top. His pants a cargo variety with a sweatshirt wrapped around the waist. truly he looked like a teen, despite his age of being a young adult, now.

As he looked up, his blue eyes came upon a woman with a case and a man talking to her. Having nothing better to do and being rather bored, he proceeded to spy on the two. Nothing was creepy about that, right? Cyan irises rested on the two as he slowly approached, half afraid the woman was highly attractive as that made his brain mess up. The other half afraid the man was DATING said woman and that now he was doomed to be pulverized for even looking at the girl. In all honesty he kind of liked the second part better. At least he didn't look stupid in that one.

Finally reaching the two, he held his normal dumb smile, hoping they wouldn't think he was too idiotic. He had no reason to talk to these strangers.. he just wanted to socialize. "So you guys are into music as well?" He asked, as if he HADN'T been listening. It wasn't until after he spoke he realized how utterly creepy that sounded. It was so obvious he was kind of listening and with a gentle tug, he pulled his earbuds out and hoped for the best.

As the man slowly turned to face her, she carried on smiling, as he spoke. Ah, so he could hear a bit of her Crieg blood in her voice, eh? "Pinned the hammer to the nail; born and raised in Carraig, but my mother's Esparian." As she spoke, he followed up stating he wasn't quite concerned with her background, which was fine, not everyone cared about someone's life story, passed down through their family line for generations. What he did seem interested in, however, was her shiny fiddle made of gold, which she withdrew from her back, where it was strapped, and held out to show him. "Aye, a violin it is!~ Long story about how I obtained this prize piece, but to make a long story short, it was painfully won in what may have been the most epic unwitnessed fiddle-fight in recent history." She listened as he went on that he played guitar exceptionally well but no other instrument, and Molly nodded; learning an instrument was a challenge indeed. Then, as the thought struck her, she grinned. "Well, if you'd like, I really want to hear some more of that guitar-playing; you really are good at it! Perhaps sometime we could have a little playing session, you with guitar, and I can play my violin?" It sounded like a fun idea to her, hopefully it would sound as enticing to he as to she.

And as she spoke, she noticed a third presence; another guy was walking over, and she smiled at him. "Yep!~ Hiya, I'm Molly. Do you play, too?~" Ah, random strangers... Always fun to talk to!
