As part of his usual routine, the end of the week meant the beginning of new reading. Elias had wandered back into the library for perhaps the 150th time, carrying his pile of books in his usual way; larger books below and smaller ones above, always centered upon one another. It was in these small things that Elias took pride. If any book shifted against another, he would always correct it, whispering under his breath commands for it to stay put. After dumping his load into the book return and giving his greetings to the librarian along the way, Elias immediately made his way to be among the many shelves of books, passing by the many others who were checking their emails or surfing the web.

Elias is always ready to study more alchemy. Though he hadn't access to the rich collection of books that State Alchemist had, there was still enough alchemy for him to learn from what he could access. Finding the right book was a difficult task, but Elias had finally picked one that he wanted to have a look through. Then, it was off the the fiction section for him. Elias spends plenty of time for reading each week and would usually have 5 or 6 books checked out at the same time, even if he couldn't quite finish them all, but he would just recheck them out as needed.

"Perhaps I should get Twisting Olives. Sounds intriguing, and Charlie Dixon hasn't failed me yet." Elias whispered to himself. Though such inside voices were never usually necessary since there was normally no one to disturb close by.
