DESCRIPTION:
→ Animos is a young man in his late twenties, of a pretty strong build. He has a good enough physique, not too buff, but he has his share of muscles. His black hair is often unkempt, left wild because of his lack of care. He doesn't care about his appearance, so he will usually wear the same clothes for weeks on end. He has reddish-brown eyes that reflect light in their wide stasis. He often glances around, paranoid, and when he is in Kill-Mode, his eyes are at the brightest, gleaming along with surprisingly well cleaned teeth, sharpened with a dagger into fangs. Often his clothes are simple, a worn out shirt and pair of pants, and he doesn't care about cleaning them, even when they are heavily blood-stained. His voice is pretty high pitched, but not too much. When he talks, he will often speak erratically, yelling some words, or having his voice get pitchy as he speaks. When Animos generally walks, he has a sort of cocky flair to his step, mixed in with a touch of paranoid crouching, and weaving around objects as if he was dodging pursuers.


PERSONALITY:
→ Animos generally acts paranoid, as stated, and a little more than a bit eccentric. Many people say he's crazy, and that would be correct. Psychological, anyways. He is a Schizophrenic, prone to paranoia and multiple-personality disorder, which we shall go in depth on in future.For now, we shall suffice to say that he is a crazy man. And he has every right to be. He finds killing to be a great stress relief, and will commonly use violence as a first resort, cutting anyone with a problem against him, to shreds. And he is a cold, remorseless man as well, caring little for those he kills, and never sympathizing for them. He feels that what he does is simply a part of life, and that he is but the predator of the food web in life's great order. But this is on the inside. On the outside, although very skittish, he is pretty easy-going and simple to get along with, until he "becomes" Blade.

Blade is violent, simply put. One of his three "identities", Blade is characterized by animalistic behavior, wild fury, and maniacal glee, a sheer passion for the slaughter. He is even more guiltless than Animos, and a thousand times more cruel. Unlike Animos, who enjoys a challenge to kill, Blade will slash up anything he sees, be it a well-armed man, a housewife, a child, an animal, he'd even slash up trees and inanimate objects if he felt a strong enough desire to do so. Essentially, Blade is the 'killing' in Animos' killing spree.

And lastly, Jack Max is the eye of Animos' storm. Always speaking in a deadpan voice, Jack Max is always calm, no matter what, and extremely focused on whatever task he is pursuing, almost always simple survival. Max is only brought out when Animos is in danger of life and limb, such as if a room is flooding, or a volcano erupts nearby. He is the coordinated side of his personality that works efficiently and kills the least people, instead viewing other people as potential assets to survival. In this personality, Animos can access a slightly slower perception of reality, allowing him to see events as happening a fraction of a second per perceived second, which allows him a tiny bit more time for thoughts and reflexes. This is brought on mainly because the same trigger that brings Jack Max into play also channels adrenaline through his body, which further allows him to escape harm.

HISTORY:
→ Jack Maximillian was always a strange child... Even in Kindergarten he had been diagnosed with several disturbing psychological disorders, which his psychiatrist had hoped would just be a phase, and that he would grow out of them, and eventually be 'cured' of his mental instability. Yeah. That never happened, as you could guess. No, actually, he came to identify with himself better as a result of the therapy, and so it actually worsened his symptoms. But even as a young child, he showed signs of being different. Sometimes the teacher would have his parents look over some violent pictures he drew, or he would get into fights, and seriously hurt the other kids. And that could only worsen. Over the course of about a year or two, he stayed the same. But at the age of 9, he really snapped. At that year, Blade found his way out again, as would happen, and had always happened. In the end, the class bunny was thrown out of the 2nd floor class window, to the horror of the teacher and class. He then shook it off, and only barely remembered anything from that time, proving that he blacked out when Blade or Jack Max took control. But this also proved that he was too violent for public school, and he was forced into home school. Home school didn't help. At the age of 12, he grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed his father in the stomach six times, while under Blade's commands. Thankfully the man was saved at the hospital, but Jack Maximillian went to a different type of hospital- An asylum.

It was there that he found his calling. Not there, exactly, but after he escaped. He had always been a genius of a kid, and it took him little time to sneak out through the air ducts, at the age of 18. Once out of the asylum, he fell to a life of nomadic wandering, and found that roaming the world was what he'd been destined to do, doing many things as he did such, along the way. He chose to live a life of choice, not bound by a thing; not law, not society, not a home, and not work. He made due with what he could find, and he thrived.

Also, from then on, he chose to go by a new name, for his new life; the men in white coats had named him, you see, and he had three names. There was Jack Max, which is to say, Jack at the maximum of his thought processes, Blade, who was always quick to fight, and then his favorite... Animos. An abbreviated variety of Animositas- Wrath. Not that he cared what it meant. It sounded good, and that was what mattered. But for the past two years he has remained dormant. No random murders, no acts of insanity. You know what else is dormant? A volcano...

And a volcano such as Animos would be soon to erupt. Very soon, in fact. It started with simple things, like meeting a man called Sebastian in Central City, and mostly participating in his soliloquy, largely ignoring the man he spoke with. But soon, events got weirder; he participated in a game of poker with a few people, one of whom seemed to be a con artist, and helped her escape, alongside a strange other lady. He stayed with them for a few days, found candy, was nearly killed by one of them, a few times, and mostly just had a splendidly confusing time, even robbing a candy store. Sadly, he couldn't remember how it ended, as he was placed into a brief coma by a cat lady; it didn't matter much, as he merely enjoyed the inner workings of his mind more vividly, in that accursed room of anarchious disorder he loved to call his mind. Next up, he met a man called Shindou as he stumbled around the ruins of a recently-bombed Central, and enjoyed that lovely encounter, which was followed by a party in South City, where his tea cup got filled with cheese by the mighty Cheese-Man's magic, and he was crowned Limburger Lad, a title he honors to this day. After this, he met another man, Akito, who he learns a lesson from in nonviolent solutions, and whom he crowns as his "Lid" in the super-secret Teacup Society. And not long after this, he met Hanna, a nice little girl interested in helping him clean the streets of crime, and even more recently, rode on a train with the charming and cannibalistic murderer, Randolph Styxx. And to top things off, he was last seen stopping a mugging in Creta! What an interesting guy!



TRIVIA:
→ As a Schizophrenic, Animos tends to treat reality as a dream, and seems not to be able to distinguish his fantasies from the world.
→ Cretan and Amestrian, although "Blade" and "Jack Max" speak in different tones than Animos.
→Also to be noted, he is aware of his personalities, but can do nothing about them, except aknowledge their presence, and anticipate events where they may arise. Other than that, they are there, and unstoppable in terms of prevention.
