The woman then hurried off as the homunculus gave an amused smirk to where she had once been. He found it rather entertaining by the fact that she'd just bought into his rather stupid lie in order to get the murderer to clear out, since he wasn't in the mood for a fight. It was good to get on the man-hater's good side anyway.

With a shrug, the man bent down to the ash with a grimace showing on his face, and drew his blade, before he swiftly shifted the ash into a cross and wrote in Auregese characters on the ground:

安らかに眠る
楽しんでください。がき

This roughly translated to 'Unknown; Rest in peace; Have fun. Brat' before the man watched the ashes fly off in the wind, finally leaving the ground mostly bare. He kicked out the writing on the ground, before letting out a heaved sigh and leaving the area.

He needed to see Greed anyway...
